Current Shoutout to you all whom I once wrote with and who are still writing today. I became my fictional character years ago, but only because you all encouraged me

I only come back here to update my cosplay list. There was a time when I enjoyed writing about crossdressing characters...then I became one.

This one anti-Christian guy tried to convince me that "sex was the ultimate form of love." I then concluded that all rapists are just misunderstood affectionate people. He got triggered.

Sounds like something I'd see in next winter's anime line up. I'm down.

This looks promising. Relieved at the lack of focus on stats/farming.

Damn it, who have you been talking to?

I suspect @Volenvradica has been a little less confidential than I thought.

And I'm the Seme never the Uke. I'm straight dont you know.

I don't even know these people! And what's wrong with uke?
I was @mentioned here and I don't know why.

Lol, oh man... As a high level fighting game player myself who just happens to hate the FGC (it's mostly hype, and they delude themselves into thinking that only the players who compete are the top players), I feel like if I wrote this anime it would be a severe deconstruction of the FGC in a lot of senses.

Anyway, you do realize you're more or less suggesting DiveKick: The Anime, right?

As you said, the FGC thinks it's just the top players competing. Why not make the characters more diverse and very much unlike their real life FGC counterparts? I'd imagine's Daigo anime genderbend equivalent to be some kuudere stay-at-home mome. I never played DiveKick. Wait, is that the one game where you jump and fall to the ground at an angle with your foot stretched out, hoping it would make contact with the opponent's skull?
I see plenty of that in hotel rooms during an anime con weekend, so I'm gonna pass lol
Come on, come all. Join in on the fun of coming up with and discussion of absurd anime ideas. "But proto, anime's done it all. But proto" No they haven't. They may have taken most of the glory, but there are some ideas that they (may have done, but not a whole anime dedicated to it) haven't done these at the very least:
Jenga!
Draughts/checkers (I'm sure many similar things have been done, but I have yet to see an anime dedicated to it)

Now the latter isn't really absurd, but I still for some reason have never seen it done. Which is sad. Jenga, though. I seriously want that.

Personally, I would like to see an anime based on fighting games (e.g. Street Fighter, Tekken, Guilty Gear...not counting Smash, they are their own thing) and the community that surrounds it. I would say video game community overall, but there's something about fighting games, something about about going 1 v 1 that can tell a lot about the players in terms of skill and personality. It would touch on gaming techniques, such as reaction speeds, stick+button inputs, and adapting to different play styles depending on character used. The FGC has its share of drama, mostly due to clashing egos, trash talking, and money/grudge matches.

So here's a story: A highschool student decides to pick up fighting games after his best friend, a legendary player, is killed in a car accident. He quickly realizes that the fighting game community (FGC) is cruel and unforgiving, and only the best are given a shred of respect and support as well as sponsoring from major entertainment companies. He makes new acquaintances, all who knew his late best friend. After discovering he has a reaction speed much higher than the average human, which is commonly called "The Edge," they decide to train him. The learning curve is steep, but he gradually improves through practice, suffering countless losses, placing top 8 in tournaments, and endless inspiration from the memory of his dead friend. Then blah blah blah, he gets gud, beats the most skilled players, thanks to his "Edge," and barely manages to snag the World Championship after a close match up against another player with the same ability.

Shit, did I just type all that?
@Volenvradica omg I love your hair colour! O: <3

By the way, it's a wig. No way in hell I can get away with that at the workplace. Wouldn't it be nice to look naturally anime?
@Buddha My mother takes comfort in the fact that I'm at least eating well.
I promised someone upskirts, but then I realized just how inappropriate that is. Just another Nagisa with shitty webcam pics. Nothing new. Once again, I'm not trans. Yes, I was wearing something under. Don't get triggered now, geez.
