PersonalityKiyomi tends to have no emotion, most of the time she is serious for her work since she wants to represent the Tohsaka's well. But at times she can be like her grandmother, what you'd call a tsundere. Kiyomi cares for all people around her, except for fellow masters and servants. She will do whatever it takes to win the Holy Grail War.
HistoryKiyomi was born into the Tohsaka family, being born with 35 magic circuits in her body. Kiyomi was raised by her mother and father when growing up, with her grandmather living in the house giving aid of magic to the family. She has an older sister in the family who is three years older than Kiyomi, but she was born with only 20 magic circuits. Kiyomi didn't get along well with her older sister, since her sister wants to be the one to participate in the Holy Grail War for the Tohsaka's. Kiyomi and her sister were taught magic by their grandmother, who survived the previous holy grail war. Kiyomi looked up to her grandmother when growing up, but this time she wanted to be the one to win the Holy Grail this time, but she knew that she wasn't going to get the role. Her sister was way more intelligent than her in many different ways, so she doesn't know exactly why she's worrying about no getting the role.
Kiyomi had started to learn lots about Jewel Magic, as well as Geokinesis, the mastery over earth. Kiyomi was better at Geokinesis though, while her sister wanted to follow Jewel Magic just like her grandmother. One day her grandmother had talked to Kiyomi privately, telling Kiyomi that she would be more likely to be picked to be in the Holy Grail War when she was older. Kiyomi was troubled by the thought of being in the Holy Grail War, but she was told that she had so much potential inside of her to grow even stronger than Rin Tohsaka in the last Holy Grail War. Kiyomi continuously denied this statement by her grandmother, not believing it one bit.
When Kiyomi was seventeen, she heard of other families starting to get their command seals already. Kiyomi still didn't believe that she was going to get command seals, still believing for her sister to get them instead. After some time one day she came home from school, and experienced pain on her right hand. Her hand had started to glow as it died down, a red mark had appeared on her hand. She continually stared at it for a while before going to her grandmother's room, showing the mark on her hand to ask if they were command seals. Her grandmother had said they were, sending Kiyomi into a denying phase.
And then came the moment to summon her Heroic Spirit, she decided to summon Assassin, so that she could one by one eliminate all of the enemies from the shadows. So she got part of Brutus's clothes, the one who assassinated Julius Caesar and started to chant from a circle in the basement of the mansion.
"I command thee...
Thou shalt come forth to my side;
Thy sword shalt control my fate."Kiyomi took a break as gems melted in her hand, closing her eyes as she continued her chanting. A small gust of wind started to fill the room that she was in.
"Abiding by the Holy Grail's haven,
If thou accedest to this will and reason, then answer me
The oath set forth here.
I am the embodiment of good in the eternal world.
I am the disposer of evil in the eternal world.
Thee, the seven heavens that bear the great trinity,
Come forth from the circle of constraint..."When the summoning chant was almost completed, the fingers that gripped the gem loosened, letting the object fall on the floor. It dropped quietly, almost turning into liquid form as it reached the summoning circle. Once the two objects molded as one, the reddish glow on the circle intensified until it seemed that the circle itself floated in midair. The wind seemed to increase each passing second. Kiyomi suddenly opened her eyes as she said the final chant:
"... O Guardian of the balance!"A blinding light came forth from the circle, disturbing the darkness that covered the entire mansion. It was so bright that it even illuminated the surrounding trees. Suddenly, a loud blast was heard as an energy of unknown force came forth. The impact sent Kiyomi reeling on the floor in the next room. Groaning at the sharp pain on her rear, she quickly scrambled to her feet and ran to the room where the oath was made.
Her Servant had arrived.
MagicJewel Magecraft - is the type of thaumaturgy involving transferring magical energy into jewels to use as limited use Mystic Codes. Compared to other mediums, the most compatible storage space for the Tohsaka family is jewels. It is said that they are able to act as "prisons that stop flow", easily accumulating and storing the thoughts of their owners.
Geokinesis - Geokinesis is the ability to manipulate the earth in its various forms, such as rock, sediment, nature and plantlife.
