”He’s a great friend, which is seldom in this place.”Colin and Julian are close friends, which is a rarity when it comes to Julian, and enjoy spending their break in quiet, peaceful areas, discussing the latest advancements in science. Julian has started an attempt to get Colin into writing and drawing, but for now he’s happy for Colin to simply browse his own work when he wants to.

”Mph. I dislike the man, but at least he’s not as bad as Darius.”Vincent and Julian don’t get along very well, but their rivalry is (luckily) not at Darius-level bad. They have had a few arguments, namely because of Vincent being an “abusive prick”, but other than that, they just steer clear of each other and leave each other alone. Julian can see them possibly becoming neutral, and maybe acquaintances, but Vincent would have to change a few things for that to ever happen.

”Ugh, that man… if I were so skilled that I could train people like a dog, then I’d change everything about him.”Darius and Julian aren’t exactly the best of friends, if you couldn’t tell. Their wholly asymmetrical personalities, with Darius being reckless, juvenile and irresponsible in Julian’s eyes, and a complete polar opposite to him, makes for some hot-headed arguments. They have a lot of these disagreements in school, luckily all of them are verbal, but with how they’ve been escalating lately, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they spawned into fist-fights.

”It’s nice to see another person who’s interested in writing. Quite refreshing for the mind.”Julian and Serafina are friendly acquaintances, namely because of their shared love for writing. They have gotten friendlier toward each other, bit by bit, and can be seen as borderline friends, however Julian remains cautious of the fact that she can be seen climbing abandoned buildings with Darius, though not so much that he scolds her for it. For the moment, Julian is unaware of Serafina’s depression.

”One of many rivals I’ve gained during my time here, and I’ve no surprise about it.”Julian has heard a lot about Ashley, and dislikes her with a passion. An egotistic cheerleader who puts the needs of herself above others, and considers herself superior to everyone else, is his worst nightmare. He doesn’t tend to be as verbal with Ashley as he is with his other rivals, rather he avoids her like the plague. As stated in his sheet, he would absolutely hate for her to become his partner.

”The little sister I never had.”Julian is like a brother to Emma. The two have known each other for 5 years, and during that time their friendship has only gotten stronger. He defends her when someone might be bullying her, he lets her read his poems when she’s feeling down, and he just overall cares for her. She’s another one of the few friends he’s managed to pick up over his time at the school, and he’s glad for it.

”Yeah, I don’t really know the guy.”Since Josh avoids “non-popular” people like the plague, Julian hasn’t really gotten to know him, or heard much about him. He doesn’t hate him for anything, though, which is a rarity when it comes to Julian.

”We used to be close, yeah, but then she got all… energetic.”During Rebecca’s depressed state, the two were quite close, and hung out with each other, with Julian making her feel better and giving her advice. However, as Rebecca recovered, and got more and more hyperactive, they sort of drifted apart. The two aren’t really close anymore, and Julian sees them as mere classmates, but they don’t hate each other or anything, so that’s a plus. They also greet each other still, and have brief conversations, but their interaction is limited. Julian does occasionally regret becoming so distanced from Rebecca, but their personalities just don’t mix anymore, unfortunately.

”Fancy dick jokes? FANCY DICK JOKES?”Julian isn’t exactly Ashton’s biggest fan, to say the least. Her constant slandering of The Bard has led to some spiteful feelings building up about her. Like most others, it hasn’t gotten to Darius-level bad, but the two tend to have at least one quarrel about Shakespeare during English.

”I haven’t really gotten to know him yet. I do hear he’s into books, though.”Due to Jordan having only just transferred over the summer, Julian’s interactions with him have been few and far between. He is intrigued by Jordan’s interest into Stephen King and H.P Lovecraft, however, and hopes to craft a new friendship whenever he can get the chance.

”He’s just going through a hard time right now.”Julian and Allen used to be friends - and still are, in Julian’s eyes - but became distanced due to Allen’s recent change of behaviour. Julian does find this sudden mood swing odd and uncharacteristic, however he can’t help but be fascinated about what could’ve sparked this in Allen’s brain. He does feel guilty for feeling this way, and hopes that he can help Allen get back on his feet.

”Our interactions are limited, though I do feel sympathetic for her.”Julian and Celeste rarely talk, however he has begun a certain quest to befriend her, and ward off anyone who wants to bully her merely for her looks. He believes that mocking someone simply because they have different colour eyes and skin is an absurd notion, and that no amount of neuroscience could ever come up with a valid excuse. To him, it’s simply unjust and uncalled for.

”She pokes fun at me a lot, but her love for writing redeems her.”Danera is one of Julian’s more humourous friends, and it’s definitely reflected in the way she teases and pokes fun at him. However, when she decides to be serious, he enjoys connecting with her through their shared passion for writing. As always, though, her friendship with Darius makes Julian cautious, and he sometimes comments on the fact.

”He’s into reading, and he stays away from Darius, which is always a plus.”Julian enjoys Jacob’s enthusiasm for reading and allows him to read some of his own work when he wants to. He enjoys the fact that Jacob differs from his sister in the sense he’s more calm, and stays away from Darius, as opposed to Danera’s friendship with the wretched man.

”I’ve no care for sports, but he doesn’t have any bad habits, so I’ll let him be.”Due to them both being vastly different, Kain and Julian don’t really interact much, rather they stay with their friend groups and let each other live their lives.

”Who?”Wilson and Julian are indifferent to one another, and only ever interact if it’s required. They’re not hostile towards each other, though, much like Kain, so that’s always a bonus.
