One Piece: New Age

Arlen's Port, Noon

Lenwood managed to exit safely without attracting so much attention. There were some people who heard the ruckus and stared at the bar but as soon as Lenwood stepped the world outside, he had his face and whole body covered in a coat that he used when he disguised as a trader. He quickly turned left and entered an alleyway he passed when he arrived in Arlen.

He took the chance to stare his back and to his surprise, the people he encountered in the bar were following behind. "Hmm.. They really love their lives." Lenwood smirked and mumbled. On an alleyway just before the port, he stopped on the edge. His body stretched and his head made the way out, his eyes were scanning the area but he noticed a group of marines were talking on the port, it could be another obstacle the group of troublemakers must face before leaving this island completely. On that moment, he referenced the group as troublemakers, only for easy temporary reference.

Lenwood was about to make a move but he noticed that the group of marines was running, Lenwood turned his head and mentioned, "It seems the marines heard about the bar fight. We should attempt an escape, fast, before they notice we, the troublemakers, are here. Let's go, board my ship!". Lenwood covered his face once again and ran towards his ship. Should some questioned why they should board on his ship, Lenwood would easily reply that it's for their own safety and they can talk about it when they are away from the port.

Lenwood shoved several people while running and eventually, he managed to get back safely to his baby ship. When he jumped on, he shouted to the rest of the group, hoping for the last person on board to do it. "Cut the rope!" There was a rope that tied his ship with the port so it wouldn't be carried by the waves of the sea.

Heh. Well, ship design aside for now, the Jolly Roger is usually associated strongly with the captain, right? So somehow, it should resemble Lenwood or be somehow representative of Lenwood. So perhaps the skull and crossbones, but with Lenwood's hairstyle would probably be a good starting point at least. His appearance on his profile is awfully lacking. Does he have anything special about his usual outfit that would look good on the JR? Like chains or ropes or...anything?

As for a crew name, there are a few options that I can think of. The first step would be coming up with a nickname for Lenwood to go by. Akin to "Straw-hat" Luffy of the Straw-Hat Pirates or "Whitebeard" of the Whitebeard Pirates. Then you can name the crew after that nickname.

Alternatively, you could give a name that relates to the crew's origins. Since the crew was gathered all at once, and in such a bizarre manner, and each person is so distinct or simply out of the ordinary, you could go with something like the "Misfit Pirates."

Finally, there's always the simple "Lenwood Pirates." It's rather unimaginative, but it's one to fall back on at least. xD

As for the ship...well, honestly, I feel like the ship we start with should be basic and rather dull. The crew can acquire a new ship more tailored to them later somehow like the Straw-Hats got the Merry-Go. Perhaps with our shipwright having helped build it or something.

@digizel You make some good points but to spruce up the Jolly roger we could also throw in a reference to Doflamingo's flag since Lenwood has the same DF as him.

All these ideas, really love them ^^ And by the way, my character face claim is Gray from Fairy Tail, for easy reference. I just happened to pick that picture since he looked like almost being killed ^^ The pain that Lenwood will face in the future. So, in conclusion, I'm up for Pic #1 for Ship but it should be slimmer in design.

Regarding flag, I'm open to anything really. If we agree upon Digizel's suggestion, the trademark thing from Gray (Fairy Tail, face claim of Lenwood) is his cross necklace. It's small but here's the full pic, it's a sword with blue diamond on the middle. Another trademark would be his strip-like habit, he likes to strip his top and walk around topless also he comes with boxer. Can we come up with a crew name with this small necklace like Silver Sword or something? AND maybe looks funny, but hey, I'm attracted to the word "Misfit Pirates" lol XD

Due to different timezone, I'm afraid that I will post late (It's 11 pm here so gotta sleep). I will post now so we can speed it up ^^

As expected, the man shifted his attention and totally forgot about the terrifying existence of Lenwood. Lenwood made a spiral ground kick and rushed towards the man's position to pin him down. Lenwood breathed out a mass of air, he finally finished the problem without even using his devil fruit's power. Lenwood pressed the back of the pinned opponent against the ground and raised his right hand. Then, he slashed it down towards the back of the neck of the pinned man. The hit on the neck was aimed to knock the man into sleep and if the opponent didn't fall into the dream world, Lenwood would try to hurt him a bit before leaving.

Lenwood scanned the area, seemed some managed to overcome their own obstacles while the midnight-haired girl was still struggling. Lenwood smiled as he felt a different feeling, the awaited feeling and the lost one. He realized at that moment that all of them who were suddenly involved in a trouble had the same fate and their destiny were bonded together. Lenwood shouted, "Hey! I think we should leave! We will have more people coming if we stay here longer! Follow me!". Should they agree to follow Lenwood, Lenwood would give a last kick towards his opponent on the ground and leave the bar through the door while heading towards the port in quick pace.

Guys, we should discuss regarding the crew's name and the pirate flag design. You know, I choose to do this in OOC because it will sure take lots of post to reach an overall agreement. We will make it short in the IC later. (like someone give an idea, and everyone in the crew immediately approve) ^^

Lenwood was excited, it seemed the people around him would involve in a fight. He was about to make a leave but he noticed everything went boom right away. When a man shouted about Rustsilver showing their true power, sweats streamed down from his forehead and he was a bit nervous. Nevertheless, a leaping man that came towards him tried to slash and separate Lenwood's neck from his place. Lenwood was lucky enough and he prepared for the worse so he basically managed to dodge the attack. Lenwood sighed since he didn't use any weapons for fight but he used his fist. It would be really hard for him to fight this man without using his devil fruit power but he believed that he should try his best.

"Come, old man!" He mocked his opponent, taunting his opponent so his opponent would attack first. The one who charged first would lose, that's one of the principles made by Lenwood. In just a few minutes, Lenwood personality changed. Actually, he tried his best to avoid fights and not to attract attention. But, the fight was inevitable. He began a bit aggressive in fighting as he tried to throw things to block his opponent view. While fighting, he noticed hornets were filling the air and he sighed in disbelief once again. One thing you should know about Lenwood, he hate Insects. The trouble was increasing every second. Nevertheless, should his opponent shifted his attention and was distracted, Lenwood would tackle hum using Lenwood's leg and pinned down his opponent.

Lenwood was cornered at the moment, he was afraid if the people who approached him were from the marines instead of what he hoped for. He secretly crossed his finger, praying that he could overcome his current obstacle. He wasn't a scaredy-cat in terms of trouble or whatever but he tried his best not to spark some troubles from the get go. He wanted a smooth first sail rather than a hot pursuit action movie-like scenes. However, after some time passed ,he couldn't bear everything. He released a long sigh, and finally confessed, "How do you know it's me who sent out the flyers?". He kept his poker face while talking to the strangers, in case of emergency, his hand hanged freely on the side, the hand would definitely create a chance to escape.

The lady started to talk as well, she mentioned that she could cook. But, the way she acted annoyed Lenwood a bit, "Why being so secretive? Is it that bad?" Lenwood asked. The flyers were about to slip out from his clothes and it meant that he could meet his end at that moment. Nevertheless, a great opportunity appeared in front of him. Lenwood pointed to the other side, a midnight-haired woman finally caught in a soon-to-be brawl and all of it was predicted by Lenwood when he noticed them earlier. The game would turn into a fight, and of course, gambling could easily infuriate one especially when mocks were involved. "Hey, it seems there's a trouble ahead. You might want to check it out. You can fight right? Let me see you fight!" He tried to provoke. Should the brawl erupted, it would obviously tie one's destiny with others.

Sorry if it was late for me to post. Yesterday, I went to Anime Festival and returned home at midnight, pretty tired ^^. Also, Work has started so I only have few hours in the afternoon, plus different timezone guys.. I hope you can understand, cheers ^^
