Greetings, I am a member of an alien race from a distant and weird dimension. I happen to have a developed a taste for role-playing on the human internet and I am looking for a good community.
I am very interested in joining Pulp Fiction, superheroes, Naruto and fantasy roleplays.

Weaponry/Equipment: for weapons he has two butcher's knives, two meat cleavers and six throwing knives for when he wants to get his enemies at a distance, and finally William also uses a machete. He wears a bullet proof vest under his costume and is so skilled with a knife that he can hold his own against sword and gun wielding opponents.
History: William's history has been almost full of violence and anger. He was born to a low middle class family and for as long he could remember he's always had to fight his way out of problems. From fighting off bullies to muggers Bill has had countless fights under his belt. He has trained extensively in boxing and street fighting.

An immortal demigod born during the Jurassic period. No, Humanity and dinosaurs weren't separated by millions and millions of years, they coexisted. In fact, Humans worshiped the ancient Tyrannosaurs as gods. Some of them even breathed fire and fought other gods, such as the Mammoths or, giant prehistoric serpents for Humans as worshipers and cattle.
A man, going by the name as Charles Fallow Pennebroke has lived since the Jurassic period, as a demi god. He is a powerful, immortal and enormously resilient sorcerer. He is capable of wielding the powers of brute strength, far beyond Human capability, supernatural healing, and manipulation over natural phenomenon. He can even conjure the spirits of the Prehistoric gods and lower animals, neanderthals and such animals, and transform into the same manner of body as his father, the great Tarkatharn. His powers are over the Ice Age, and the Primeval past of the world he still lives in.

I get that, but I'm simply borrowing the concept of very weird heroes and stories like the ones featured in his run, which is why I am not doing an actual Doom Patrol rp.

I haven't read the comic, but I watched some history videos on the Doom Patrol and they mentioned the comic run by him.
So basically... Great Lakes Avengers? :D
Think of Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol mixed with magic and that's kind of what I'm going for.

We are team of superheroes unlike any other and as our name suggests we are very strange heroes brought together by a commonality of weirdness. To be one of us you have to fit the one requirement, which is to be weird in some way. You may have a very weird costume or very odd powers, but you're not the traditional hero who is beloved by the public or thought of as cool. It is our job to counter threats against mankind that are beyond basic understanding, so will you join the WHA?
Themes
This is a superhero roleplay that is focused on strange heroes and their battles with equally strange villains. This rp is basically throwing out realism and replacing it with very weird stories, characters and adventures. In this world superheroes have been established since the early twentieth century and our characters will be the oddballs of the hero community. I am intending this rp to be a mind dump when it comes to characters and story arcs and I am heavily encouraging conversation about story ideas for the roleplay. Let your mind roam free and get your creative juice flowing, come join this rp and let's have some fun.
Rules
Please try to follow these rules, but know that some I will try to be lenient with as long as I have reason to be.
1: I am GM so my word is law and I trust that you all respect that.
2: This is low casual when it comes to writing style so I expect good grammar and at least two or three lines of text in a post. Please no one-line posts.
3: You're characters have to be weird, this can either apply to powers, costumes or the character's personality.
4: For now you can only have one character, but this might change later in the rp.
5: No arguing in the OOC, civil discussions is fine, but if people start insulting each other then I will ask you to take it to the Private Messages and if you refuse then you will be booted from this roleplay.
6: Please try to be creative in crafting a character, let your mind run wild.
7: Magic is allowed as an origin for your character's powers.
8: Be respectful.
9: When it comes to profanity and sexuality I want it kept at PG-13, but I will be more lenient when it comes to violence.

If i can make a beastfolk shaman with martial arts skills and magic that powers his body's physical prowess then I'm totally intersted
Here's a different character, which should work better for the rp.
Name: Adam Thompson

Ethnicity: Southern American
Appearance
Personality: Adam is a very funny guy and has a wisecracking personality. He is also very religious and a devout catholic. He has no problem quoting scripture for whatever situation he is in even if it isn't very relevant. Adam does not like seeing others pushed around by those who think themselves above them, he views them as having a God-complex. You don't want to piss him off unless you are looking to have a chair thrown at you. His personality can be annoying at times and many call him the Catholic with a sense of humor, but that doesn't deny the fact that he is a good person who admits that he has flaws and still rises to a challenge. Adam is very proud of southern heritage especially his creole and Cajun ones.
He is very tenacious and won't give up until he goes down and will back down from a fight.
Background: Adam was borne in a town outside of New Orleans Louisiana and from the time that he was a young boy he had always known that as a southern many would view as being intellectually unintelligent compared to northerners. This never got him down and dreamed of being great one day. Life in Louisiana was peaceful and slow compared to the hectic north and he made many friends and developed strong ties to state and its people, but one day his father's job offered him a position in Modern City, Georgia and he took it.
Adam was upset at the idea of leaving his home, but he didn't throw a fit and after living fourteen years of his life in Louisiana he moved to Modern City. Aside from trips to New Orleans and couple other cities in the south Adam had never really been a really big city like Modern city. High school was not his best years and he had gotten into a couple of altercations with some of the ruder students who thought it was cool to pick others and bully them. His religion had taught him to stand up to sin and that's what he did when he got into fights with bullies.
These fights had gotten him suspended a couple of times and his parents worried that this would ruin his future, but he took up boxing to try and relieve him of his fighting urges and eventually he graduated High school and decided to stay in Modern city for collage. When he was 22 was when the accident happened and his life was changed forever. The explosion caused by the toxic chemicals caused him go through a mutation that granted him the ability to create and manipulate glass. Upon realizing his gifts he decided that it would be best to use for the greater good and took on the name Glassmith and donned a costume to fight against crime.
Other: he is a really good street fighter and brawler as well as boxer.
