Teen Titans: New Heroes

What tone are we shooting for? Light-hearted like the 2000's series or are we going the comic book route and being serious? Trying to decide the kind of tone for how I want to portray Al.

simple we go the Young Justice route, the show was hilarious, but serious as well. For me it was the best superhero animated show because of its tone and story as well as the characters.

Bat Mite Jr was asleep in his bed dreaming of many crime fighting escapades with The Caped Crusader and beating down the joker and Riddler. After all who needs Robin when Batman has him assisting in fighting crime in Gotham. He was in the middle of knocking Mr Riddles' teeth out when the headquarters' alarms went off and Bat Mite Jr awoke from his sleep in alarm.

"Shit is there another Crisis? Is Darkseid invading again or has General Zod escaped from the Phantom Zone?!" he called out and quickly ran out of his room in full costume. He then flew straight towards the kitchen making sure to not fly too fast that he smashed into the walls or ceiling. He quickly came into the kitchen and smell of smoke entered his nostrils. It took him only a moment to realize that it was burnt food that was responsible for the alarms. Upon seeing the burnt cake he giggled at the ruined pastry.

"You should try some Fifth Dimensional cake Nova, it's deliciousness is beyond your third dimensional taste buds. Next time use a replicator or have someone with skill do it for you" he said to the Tamaranean. He still felt new to this team and it was funny to him how the adults would let a bunch of young adults fight crime on their own.

"So besides burning cakes, is there anything else planned for the day? I could show you all my Batman and comic collection" Jr said to the team as he floated upside down about a few feet away from Nova.

Remy was taken a bit back when Grant asked if he had civilian clothing tp put, well he thought that as a team they would be in costume to protect their identities when together like this, but luckily he had brought a pack with a change of clothes so he could wear civilian clothing when necessary. He quickly went to the bathroom and changed from his hero costume into his normal clothes. Once he rejoined the others Remy looked at each of his teammates trying to get a sense of what kind of person they were. He listened to them explain their powers and it looked like he was unique in the sense that he was the only one with voodoo magic powers.

"I hope you all don't mind the dark aspect of voodoo magic. My power can be quite frightening at times, but trust me it is on our side" he said to others. Then he heard the limo pull up and honk its horn and they all went to get in the vehicle. Remy had never rode in a limo before and he had to admit that this was very fun. Eventually they came a place that had a teleporter and they journeyed to where the legendary Justice league was. Remy was almost chocked up, he had never expected to get to meet the entire league. He saw that Zatanna was among them and he waved.

"Hello Zatanna, how's it been going? This whole team thing seems to be pretty cool" he said to the league member. Remy wondered if this meant that they were now going to join the league, he had just joined the Titans and already they were meeting the senior heroes. He then noticed Zero asking the league members a few questions and he wondered if his teammate was okay.

Bat Mite Jr is a fanboy and therefor loves most of the DC universe. He is especially into Batman and has encyclopedia knowledge of the DC universe and loves to spout it. He several times forgets what is canon and what isn't, which is confusing and sometimes scary to others within the DC universe. His awareness of the fourth wall makes him look at danger more carelessly and has gotten him into trouble on several occasions. It is his dream to be a hero and have a lasting mark on the DC universe and his father has encouraged him to go and be a hero to the DC universe.

Bat Mite Jr has encyclopedic knowledge of the DC universe and his very smart when it comes to forms of energy and magic.

Powers
Limited Shape-shifting: Bat Mite Jr is able to alter his bodily appearance as well as shift into inanimate objects. Most of his shape changes are household appliances and other mundane items like bats, bowling balls and other casual things.

Bat Bolt: This power allows Bat Mite Jr to fire yellow bolts of energy out of his hands and eyes. The effects of these bolts can be either concussive, electrical or burning damage.

Supersonic flight: Bat Mite Jr is able to fly at a top speed of mach 1.2

fourth wall awareness: Bat Mite Jr is aware that the DC universe is a comic book and that he and other characters are fictional.

Equipment
For equipment Bat Mite Jr has a utility belt that allows him to travel between dimensions and it is used for traveling purposes only.

History
Bat Mite Jr spent his as a major DC fanboy in the fifth dimension and like his father Bat Mite, Jr was obsessed with going to the DC universe and meeting its heroes. After fashioning himself a suit exactly his father's, Jr headed off to start his heroics in the DC universe. It was like role-playing, but way cooler. He got meet Batman and several other DC heroes in the process, but his carelessness did not go over too well with the adult heroes and the Justice League thought that he needed to mature some more before he could join them and Jr found himself looking for another team to try and join.

Eventually he heard about the group of young superheroes known as the Teen Titans and Bat Mite Jr knew that this was his chance to get in on the team of heroes craze. He's a DC fanboy living the nerd dream and he will do what it takes to make his dad and Batman proud. He is still getting use to rules of rules of the third dimension, but it's worth it to be a hero.

running makes it easier to dodge and make sharp turns and being in doors hurts high speed flight

@Saarebas@Wisp I made his flying speed mach 1.2, also his knowledge of the DC universe is from a fanboy perspective so it isn't really for problem solving purposes, but more for humor. I won't abuse the dimension belt, it was just so that he had a way to get back home
