I am going to go out on a limb and say that Damian has some the best character devolopement in the Bat family because everyone else suffers from the typical comic book character arc that is losing a loved one and having PTSD incidents throughout their story. Damian on the other hands has none of those and focuses on his journey to be more human, which goes in line with him maturing along the way. Dick and Tim and even Jason were outsiders brought into Batman's world, but Damian was born in it.

That's the whole character arc for Damian, he was trained only to kill and now that he has met Batman he is trying to become human.

The movies show this almost perfectly. In the first movie that he appeared in he wanted nothing to really do with Batman or anyone else, but when Justice League vs Teen Titans is finished Damian accepts being part of a team. It was shown many times that he preferred to work alone, but meeting the titans allowed him see that working with others was part of the process of being human.

This part of the movie perfectly hits home the fact that Damian is socially inexperienced with having fun with others his age. That is why he hangs out with Raven and hangs out at the back of the group, he just doesn't feel comfortable being around other people in a casual and fun setting like a carnival.


Finally Damian being a brat and making dumb mistakes is very realistic for a young child his age.

@The Kid Lantern I am going to have to point out that mini series have dropped a lot for non justice league characters, the market has shrunk and none of the other robins would be getting mini series if they were as recently created.

@Burning Kitty okay and there are tons of comic characters who have killed. Again damian and Jason get the same hate as Guy does which seems ridiculous in my opinion. Again Damian and Jason were more unique in my opinion compared to the other robins

The man inside the suit is far less imposing, being of average build, and below average height. Benjamin usually seems on the ragged side, with dark rings under his eyes and shabby clothes. Some part of him is usually stained with grease or oil. His eyes are dark brown, and he has dirty blond hair.
Personality: Benjamin has something of a split personality, being soft-spoken, contemplative, and perhaps a bit meek outside his armor, while he's bombastic, brash, and impatient inside the Tanker armor. He tries to play the role of hero, and so adopts a persona of
Skills: Mechanical skills, mediocre power armor piloting, makes good coffee, and can perform an oil change in fifteen minutes.
Abilities: Stole this kick-awesome power armor deal.
Bio: Benjamin Burman had a fairly standard childhood, raised in a small town in Indiana. With two parents, and a sibling or two, he was brought up quietly. After high-school he shuffled off to a trade school to earn his mechanical skills. While studying he began an internship with a local science facility. Despite the cheerful hiring staff and showy display at the college, Benjamin was shocked to find he was actually hired on as a rent-a-henchman.

Not one to give up good work, however, Benjamin kept on. The mad scientist in charge seemed relatively harmless, and had not even attracted the attention of local law enforcement, never mind a hero. The scientist, Doctor Hevendell was obsessed with the construction of increasingly elaborate powered armors and battlesuits, which he claimed would assist in bringing down the 'moronocracy' in charge of the US government. Eventually, through sheer dumb luck, the doctor managed to craft a functioning prototype, with which he robbed a bank. Benjamin quickly realized it was time to find more gainful employment, and began devising a way to resign without catching a metal plated fist through the sternum.

The choice was taken from him, however, when Aegis, the Shield of Righteousness, busted down Hevendell's front door. Seeing his chance, Benjamin jumped in the prototype and made a break for it while the hero and villain were still engaged in verbal combat, rather than actual combat. Benjamin was able to make it nearly ten miles out before the suit broke down and left him in the middle of corn country. He managed to hitch a ride back to town, and return in the night with his own vehicle to retrieve the armor. It lay in a storage locker for the rest of Benjamin's education, and eventually moved with him to Indianapolis.

As time passed, though Benjamin was able to set up his own garage and live comfortably, he found he wasn't satisfied with life. His thoughts kept drifting back to his fateful escape, and the exhilaration of it. He began the slow, tedious work of getting his defunct, aging suit of stolen power armor back up and running. Finally, after a couple years of work, he got it back into working shape, and Benjamin set out to stop crime in Indianapolis.
Other: The armor is only half-functioning, and it often has functionalities break down. Benjamin has to perform regular repairs, which may be challenging in the field, making for short heroic excursions.

That's stupid because it is bland and bad writing to have all characters be perfect in attitude. Again why can't you have characters with emotional and social flaws? There's a reason why Jason and damian have such huge followings it is because they weren't a generic side kick.

I respect Dick because he is the firs2.0, but Tim and Terry just seem like young Dick 2.0

Damian I knew of before the movies. Never liked him. The movies make him into the world's biggest asshole. I wish he would just die already. The only biolgocial son of Bruce that I accept is Terry McGinnis. Damian is a pretender.
