More like 2011, though as @Dblade26 mentioned its only inspired by the show.

There aren't going to necessarily be chimera ants either lol . . . . . . . unless, everyone wanted them to

Anyway, the OOC is up and waiting for everyone's input.

I was just asking because the 1999 series has my soundtrack and I loved the Battleship island filler arc
@Acid Hippie will this be more like the 1999 series or the 2011 one?

@Weird Tales Yes, you countered the arguments, people countered back. Yes, comic universes change, yes, Damian will probably be very different in five or so years, but that doesn't change the fact that right now he is among the most divisive characters in the canon.

Also, you "don't get" the Damian hate? Let me explain, some people have a dislike of certain character types, and no matter how much you argue against it, they're still going to dislike them. No matter how much you argue, you're ultimately powerless to change people's opinions. You shouldn't take personal offense to someone not liking a character you like, it's all opinions at the end of the day, and we all know the saying about them and a certain part of the human waste disposal system.

Now, can we stop this stupid argument and get back to RPing please?

I was just offering a defense since people piled on the hate. If we want to stop discussing this matter then people shouldn't offer their opinions on it otherwise it would just continue the discussion.
My problem with Damian is that he's such an "EDGY ANTI-HERO" that it's just unbelievable that Bruce keeps him around. The first time he had an edgelord on his payroll he kicked his ass after he went off the deep end. The second time, Jason, as a son Bruce hadn't seen since his death, was still treated like dirt after he started murdering criminals, yes, the New 52 had him rejoin the bat-family, which was so out of character for Bruce that it completely turned me off the New 52. Why in god's green Earth does Damien get a pass? Yes, he's Batman's son, but so was Jason. Bruce is completely uncompromising, the one time he broke his no-kill pledge was against Darkseid, who was just about to blow up the world, other than that, he has never killed, and again, he treated Jason like dirt after he killed someone.

Yet Damian just walks up and is like "Kill 'em" and Bruce gives the old fifties sitcom "Oh Damian!" (Laugh track)

that isn't canon to the movies and I don't even think it is canon to the comics anymore. Again Damian is very unique compared to the other Robins and doesn't follow the generic comic book cliche and most of the arguments against him have been countered.

I don't see the point in the Damian hate especially given how huge the comic book universes are and how much they can change.
Where's the gm?
@The Kid Lantern so do we post with our characters battling the Starro controlled citizens or do we wait for you to post as the starro spawns?
<Snipped quote by Weird Tales>Damian was no more born into Batman's world than Dick was. Damian was born into the world of assassins. That is like comparing apples to cement.

Damian was born into Batman's world since Ra's Al Gul is arguably one of Batman's most greatest enemies and Damian was raised in the league of assassins. Dick had normal parents and lived a normal childhood until they died and Batman took him in as his sidekick. Damian never had a normal childhood, hell even Bruce had a normal childhood until his parents were killed.

*EDITED*

Also Dick still follows the generic comic book character origin of having his parents die and using that to become a hero. Not saying its bad, but it isn't unique.
