We suspected as much.

Perhaps it would be advisable to try to also get the people in said thread to use less @mentions, then? After all, if there is something that requires your attention there, it will be buried beneath the irrelevant @mentions and easily missed.

Either way, this conversation should be about the implementation and usage of the proposed feature as a whole, not my irrelevant instance of requiring it. Are there any more thoughts about the implementation? Or how to keep it from cluttering?
Tomorrow I'm learning about determinants. This is going to be fun.
That was probably both sarcasm and truth. But in all seriousness, here's hoping I can get a hang of the first lesson on it in a day like all the others so far.
All: ...

Yeah...

Then I can kill it and "accidentally" cut her head off.

-Maddie- That would probably not be ideal! So, uh... Be careful?
Yeaaaah, this isn't good.
@Extra
You shouldn't have even come on this mission.

It sounds like it.

It was more of a correction on the fly.

-Maddie- Hey hey hey hey guys! Knock it off! What if an enemy attacked us while we were fighting?

I could retrieve numbers from that in my head, but I won't. Too much effort.

Even the first one would be over 26. You'd have to know the actual binary representation of the letters.

*growls*
I. Don't. Care.

-Maddie- *out loud* Hoboy.

Hmm... That was unexpected. It certainly puts a wrinkle in the idea put forth so far. Such an idea needs to cater to all sorts of crowds.

How many of those notifications are relevant to you beyond simply "to be read"?

A thread-specific notifications menu would perhaps be beneficial if the number of notifications exceeds n, but until it reaches that point, then it would only be cluttering to have a menu. The size of n would of course be up for discussion, but even so, this would probably be semi-complex to code.

For now though, we'd think it would be easier to simply have the notifications stay just on the notifications page. But this idea is still worth discussing.

A total of none of them. I just take to often refreshing the page, and so the notifications stack up. But that idea sounds very interesting. Really, the only complication would just be to insert an if-statement that takes the number of notifications on that thread. Since the function will already be summoning the notifications for that thread, it just has to count them and then choose whether to display the box or not.

I don't care.

....

-Maddie- Well, I mean, it was kind of our faults, since I was annoying and others were rude. That would put anyone in a bad mood, especially when every time they woke up they forgot everything and didn't really know anyone except what she knows in her notebook.

Elimination Master Race

Neeever mind. The only mistake I made was forgetting to get rid of a negative sign. Although, I just realised that everything I'm doing right now when using elimination is mostly the same as what I did with substitution, just... Taking... A much... Shorter... Time.

Elimination Master Race

That wasn't funny.

You're such a baby.

It wasn't supposed to be.
