My sound stopped working again, but then I restarted, and it was working again.

What is EdX?

An website with online courses from colleges like MIT for both high school and college.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

The one advantage homeschool has is moving at your own pace with whatever teaching style you want.

And it's definitely worked for me.
<Snipped quote by Legend>

They only do what is required and nothin more, except for a few.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Are you going to skip pre-Calc like I did?

<Snipped quote by Legend>

You're lucky you have the opportunity to take them.

From what I've heard Trig is basically pre-Calc. Either way, Life of Fred doesn't have it, and neither does EdX, so I don't expect to need it. Basically, my schedule:
First Year: Algebra I and II
Second Year: Geometry and Trig
Third Year: Calculus and EdX
After that I'm not sure. It depends on how long it takes me to finish LoF Calculus.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

That moment you realize that I'm already taking the most advanced and difficult courses in the world.

I already knew that. And I plan to get as advanced as I can in EdX while I do Calculus with Life of Fred.

Getting into a decent college > finishing work early.

I could have graduated early, but I chose to do classes that would benefit me.

<Snipped quote by Multifarious>

Ah, yeah. Fun after-test time. But that also testifies to the fact that teachers teach to the test instead of for knowledge.

Being able to prepare for advanced classes because you already finished all the standards > just doing the standards
Some forays into EdX should help with college applications.

<Snipped quote by Legend>

It'll basically be just going to school and hanging out with friends, since we won't have any teachers who will teach after testing dates.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I did Geometry and Algebra II in a year without going over into summer. Boom.

I'll be attempting to do both Geometry and Trig next year. Then I can prance right into Calculus.

Public school > Home school.

<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Ah, yeah. Sorry about that.

Doing both Algebra I and II in one year > public school.
My Algebra II will probably continue throughout a month or so of the summer. Latin will be non-stop. My summer will be an almost-summer. I'm still fine with it though.
I'm still here..

octopus

Annie was great.

<Snipped quote by Host>

I do use Skype still.

what do you think my good sir
is it metal enough
<Snipped quote by Vampyr>

*a French horn appears, but Soren hesitates, before settling on using an oboe, upon which he plays a few deep notes. A floating octopus appears and its tentacles are tangled up with the ten tentacles, and so they are all virtually indistinguishable and practically unusable*

A masterpiece, if I do say so myself. xD
