*Nods*

Then let us go. The store of weapons is closest; we will go there first. *leads her to a large stone building without a front wall* We store all types of elemental blades here--scythes, cutlasses, broadswords, rapiers, and so on. They are the gleaming black swords with the faint coloured lines within. Then we have other weapons without magic--daggers, chains, nunchucks, and others.

Egyptian god of the dead. He was weak but only obtained power after he died, in which he rules the underworld. But Egyptian mythology is weird.

Depends on the circumstances. I'm not really concerned with what happens to animals.

Heheh, I once got a lot of flak for being "meh" about animals. I'm not into the whole experiments-on-animals thing when it causes them pain for a prolonged time, but otherwise, don't ask me for an opinion on it, because I don't really care.
What are you guys' thoughts on genetic engineering? I personally am a proponent of it, depending on how it is done--for example, for several years now we have had goats that produce spider silk in their milk, which makes it much easier and cheaper to produce strong stitches.

Oh. That thing.

-Ruby- Pretty much.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Unlikely, but a shapeshifter certainly is possible.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Ridge: It's no trouble at all.

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

But they still exist. And I prefer to remain cautious nonetheless.
*Looks back at the monitor*
And it's gone.

-Maddie- Oh man! What if the animal shapeshifted into invisibleness so we can't see him?
-Soren- *sighs and chuckles* Well, why don't you check it out? Then we can know for sure.
-Maddie- Now that is a great idea!

?: And please, do what you can to bring our leader back. Nothing that could have happened recently could have caused this. He has been happy and moral and loving to all of us, day after day, but then this happened. No one, no matter how influenced, would do this if they had the care he had for us.
-Soren- It all seems so familiar...
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Years old?

-Ruby- Twentieth in power before the Tier System fell apart, I mean.
<Snipped quote by Balance>

I'll note that, but I need to know who that account is. :P Sorry for not knowing already.

Balance and Mammalia are me.

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

Those were very well written.
Thank you. I was planning on learning the current situation through two characters asking around, but that was very helpful.

My own plot is described in a spoiler a few pages back (the name has something to do with a wall of text); if you want to look there, you can, or you can ask around. It doesn't have much to do with the current state of Existence, however, so it doesn't matter quite as much to your understanding of MR right now, I don't think.

Ridge: Just keep an eye out for the next time he pokes his head around the corner.

-Soren- Right. Maybe next time we'll be able to capture him and figure out what's wrong.
?: Thank you so much for your help. Many more of us--perhaps all of us--would have died had you not come. We will regroup and rebuild; the Torc have survived worse.
@whizzball1

They'd have to be in here to do any effective spying. Most likely it's just an animal.

-Maddie- *is silent for a moment and then gasps* What if... The animal is a spy?
Nobody responded to my post in the Shadowrealm; it's the third post on the current IC page.
