???:*Fades into a translucent state nearby* That's needlessly complex... I'm glad to see the marker I put did what it was supposed to. Surely your most obvious solution would then be to go to a universe with completely different physics. That would require different frameworks to alter and different math to get the same results. A local area change would work as well. A dimensional fissure phase could render it useless altogether. Data should be able to handle that quite handily.

There are super few of those! And we'd have to figure out how to use such a place, too!
bed, ned

That is also inaccurate. Perhaps your wording is slightly off.

<Snipped quote by Ignacious>

You are very welcome.

Oh! I see. I said that no one has any idea how to deal with it. I'm sure someone around here does! It's just that nobody I know of knows for sure.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

That is inaccurate.

Okay, no one I know of does.

Ah, make sense.
What mods?

FTB Infinity: Expert Mode. It intertwines the progression of most of the popular tech and magic mods out there, making everything significantly harder to pull off.

Interesting.

And the worst part is--I have no idea how to deal with theoretical alternate realities! No one does.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

To an extent.

Well, we know that having other universes with different laws of physics is possible, if greatly fine-tuned. What Seth does is something like what I do when layering reality--instead of creating actual alternate realities with whole different laws of physics, he establishes the framework of several alternate realities with small changes to the laws of physics. All these together add up to a big change that he wants. He takes these frameworks, layers them over the reality that he wants to change, and then extends the properties of all these theoretical alternate realities over the normal reality.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I do.

*switches to serious mode* He's using the ancient concept of theoretical alternate realities--do you know what those are?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

No. I attempted every conceivable combination of internal alterations, which would, under normal circumstances, repair her, but in this case, did so for accurate readings.

Oh! Makes sense! Well, do you want to know how it works, now?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I did not attempt to repair her connections.

<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

You did.

You didn't??
