I'm sorry to hear that. I hope it works out for you.

I do, too. Thank you for caring. Most people laugh because they're not made of crystal, but if you actually had to deal with this? It's a nightmare, especially in our shared occupation.

Oh, crap... I'm sorry to hear that.
*Looks solemnly thoughtful for a moment.*
Is there any way I might be able to help? I'm still not quite at your guys level yet, but I want to see if I can do something to help.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

It's pretty obvious, yea.

I strive for clarity. If every aspect of my character is not perfectly obvious the moment you meet me I have not done well. It means I have gained—heaven forbid—character depth.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I'm sorry about that. I hope you regain it soon.

Well, I have to lose it, first. Right now I am a picture of crystalline perfection. My facets are placed and shaped in the most mathematically efficient configuration for a crystal of my shape. But when I am hurt and my facets are broken or deformed, it takes some time before they recover their pattern. *Stage whisper* Sometimes, I reform very grainy. It's horrible.
@whizzball1*takes notice of you*

Oh, hey there. Didnt notice you come in. How are you?

Flawlessly. See how I sparkle?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Maybe because I'd rather save my energy for later?

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

Long time indeed. Yea, I remember. I'm guessing she did something?

Blasphemy. Waste is haste. Or something. You can tell I base my life choices on misinterpreted maxims.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Because:
A. I'm not the one that defines what an element is, nor do I have absolute control over it. If I could, I don't think I would be having this problem.
and B: It would be kinda pointless to over specify one specific thing as an element. At that rate it would get way too complicated.

Well, if you'd like to take the simplest, easiest, and most effective solution, be my guest. But why be efficient when you can be in-efficient?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I'm glad to hear that.

With Rythian, I suspect, my facets will not last. I suspect action in the future, and that ruins my literally flawless complexion.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I've been well. And yourself?

<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

*Frowns*
Unfortunately. It's a little rough right now.

Quite intact. My facets are as pristine as they can be.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

That would be nice, but I think that would only work as a temporary solution until I use it in battle and accidentally shift it back to its original state. As for why, I'm using the metal as the core of the staff since it can separate most elements and I can regenerate it by combining the fire and earth elements. If I wanted to separate the metal and electric sub-elements, I'd have to use something else as the core for the staff which would need to be able to take a lot of stress. Since I only have the basic primary elements available, my only other option would be to make the core with the earth element, which would make my staff too heavy to use and I would risk destabilization when trying to make more of the metal sub element.

To be fair, these elements seem to be exceptionally arbitrarily defined. Why not just smush some incredibly strong crystal like diamond into the definition of "element" and use that instead?
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

What do you mean?

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Thank you!
