So right now we're only in the vicinity of this "Castorr". We defeat, kill, or otherwise imprison him. What if he has some failsafe to alert the others? Everybody has phones these days.

You can have it. I'm keeping track of the ships I move, and I can keep them confined for a reasonable period of time. They don't seem particularly interested in escaping the dimension.
