I cannot.

Darn! How about a picture of your control panel?
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

It solves a problem that it created.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I think Gauss Rifles are really cool.

What are those?

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Correct. It has a rather flat and modular management structure.

Wow, that sounds cool! If you ever reinstate the Tier System can you make me a stand-in Tier Five or something so I can see how it works?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Rigorous overview. System design is unlike other forms of development—hidden errors are rare.

Oh! Is it not like code where one thing leads to another and another and another and you can't always tell if there'll be an error?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I'm particularly fond of machinery. It's beautiful when done well.

You know it! Do you have any favourites from this time period?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

We can recreate Tier Five without errors.

But--what if there are errors anyway? Like, what justifies your belief that there will be zero nada no errors?

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

Is that any different, in the end?

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

*Shrugs*
It's just a part of engineering.

Yup! I'm not an engineer, myself; I'll only decide to be one if I have to make machines and stuff that interact with the Pages. Although sometimes I construct tea-related machines!
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Eh, not entirely. But mostly, yeah. We dont let them vote in groups, though. We allow them to vote individually.

That's what she means!

Especially when things start working after fifty tests.

Now that's an accomplishment!

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

We have improved our Systemic implementation capabilities.

What?? Like, I understand the terms and the structure of this sentence but what??
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

No, and it cannot happen again. We have learned much since Tier Five's implementation. I also highly recommend not performing System shifts rapidly in a short period of time. Or rapidly at all, given the undefined behavior of the System.

How do you know more errors won't crop up?

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I... enjoy applied science myself. There are some pet theories I really enjoy, but there's nothing better than seeing the concepts you love become a reality.

That's awesome! Practical science is so cool.
bed, ned
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

No, and we learned of their existence after it was too late to fix them prior to them being taken advantage of.

What if that happens again? Can you reset to the Automatic System, fix the errors, and switch back?

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

*Nods*
A passion of mine.

A great passion! We're all scientists here, and by "all" I mean, me, Data, and you!
