Yesh.... I want to incorporate this image in some way:
"The Avalian Fleet holds the line by morning..."
I have some great airship pictures, as well. They'd be fun if I can incorporate at least some.

Yeah, I'm with you guys on keeping the tech WWII. In my opinion, it allows for a much greater range of possibilities. Not to mention as Willy said, that's a seriously drastic change in tech for a lot of us returning players. I always much preferred the "dieselpunk" style era of the 1940s more so than the early 1900s. Mainly because of the stated above reason, but also its a lot less controversial when it comes to tech. It always seems you have people arguing over "The first semiauto rifles!" or "Full metal planes" ect. 1940s aka early WWII era tech gets rid of a lot of that stupid tech argument stuff. To me dieselpunk is more of a 20s or 30s era thing. Before the world wars.
Also, I shall be rejoining as The Greater Republic of Avalia. AIRSHIPS FTW!!!!

Sure, just by how much though?Tank divisions still have sizeable number of infantry.
Also, I assume the link you posted was for tanks only. Or is the infantry stuff above it also relevant?
1. We will be using the French Republican Calendar, look it up, as for the year, 1910.Um, can't we keep the WW2 tech? That's a massive change.
2. Great War tech, planes are in their infancy, dreadnoughts are only just coming out, tanks are not real yet, bolt action rifles. I'll allow for people to concentrate on certain things but at the cost of others. i.e. Small army, big navy.
3. We will let other's decide.
4. I will come up with an incentive, anywho, not everyone wants to be a great power or a massive nation and the simple addition of a scale would help put things into perspective.
<Snipped quote by Willy Vereb>I see.
Well, The Sun Will Never Set does make sense, it is to mean that there will always be a golden age for someone. I engineered it from the saying, "the sun never sets on the British empire" and "I want a place in the sun" the prior a well known saying and the latter the words of the German Kaiser.
