Samarkand is an unnamed 'god's son, and decided to not live under his hold and become himself, regardless of the fact that he's plenty powerful in comparison to other demons.
Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of demons or really much of anything to expect from this, since there's next to no information in the OP.
