Esme was sleeping more soundly than she had in months. Maybe it was because she had pushed herself harder than she ever had the past few days. Her sleep was free of the nightmarish images they had been haunting her for months. In fact, she wasn’t dreaming at all. Yelling from down the hall soon disturbed her sleep.

“Holy hellfire! What’s going on?” she said, bolting upright. She grabbed her gun and keys as she rose from the bed. She headed to the door and looked out the spy hole, but saw nothing. It was then she heard someone yell about a demon. Esme grabbed her jacket and bolted out the door.

She threw on her jacket and shoved the keys in her pocket as she went, stopping when she reached a corner, which was just one door down. She took the safety off her gun and peered around the corner. The raised voices were coming from the room just around the corner, and she heard demon mentioned again.

She rounded the corner, gun held out in front of her, then peered into the room. Said demon looked to be stuck in a devil’s trap while talking to two women in the room. From what she could tell, the demon and woman cowering had arrived together. “Did I hear right, they came together and she didn't know what he was?” she asked while pointing her gun at Cason.

Things aren't moving too fast, are they? We're so close to getting everyone in the same room. It's honestly pretty exciting lol

I think the pace is fine. The closer we get to having everyone together the more excited I get. lol
Right now, I wondering if I should wait for one more post or go ahead and have Esme wake up and come out to witness what's going on.

Esme had managed to make it through the door and down the hall that led to her room while lugging her bag with her. After reaching her room and opening the door, she dropped her bag on the floor and unzipped a pocket and rummaged through it.

She pulled out a permanent marker and knelt by the rug that was in front of the door. She flipped it over and drew a devil's trap on its underside before flipping it back over. Once that was done, she rose to her feet, grabbed her bag, and headed to the bed. She tossed the bag on the end of the bed, setting her gun next to it, then headed to the bathroom for a much needed shower.

It wasn’t until she looked into the mirror she noticed just how bad she looked and why she got such a strange look from the man at the front desk. She laughed it off as she went and turned on the water. She had to admit that the water pressure wasn’t bad, despite how the place looked.

Once the water temperature was just right, she stripped and stepped in. Once she felt clean, she got out and made herself presentable. Esme walked over to the center of the bed, relaxed and feeling even more exhausted. She fell face first on the bed and passed out.

@SirensCall It's pretty much the same for me. It's been so long since I've found a good group of people to RP with. I've missed it so much.

@FuriePhoenix I thought so. I'm just trying to think of how I want them to meet. I'm almost thinking of her busting out of her room and telling them to keep their voices down because people are trying to sleep.
Or I can have her hear the name, Winchester as she walks down the hall to her room. I'm not really sure.
