Can you think of something to throw my way wiz?
I have been playing a ton of warhammers video games and hanging out in like 5 40k discords. I realize I owe a post. I've just been having so much other fun in the little free time I have.
So. When are we getting a move on?
I'll try to get a post out tomorrow.
Alright.
@BlackPanther@ayzrules@AtomicNut@Remipa Awesome

Mithias flicked his golden gaze at each of the others before him. The astute could see that he was squinting slightly under the all too short brim of a modern-style man's hat. His black jacket served as a cloak, badly concealing two swords and whatever else he was armed with. He was dressed in a suit with a button-down collared shirt that covered something far more sturdy between it and the vampire's masculine curves beneath.

The human, who was not unknown to him, had clearly become unhinged, his reason having broken under the weight of his escalating paranoia and distrust. Mithias could hold no more hope for the man, for human life had lost its value to him. He had sacrificed his own people, his own meek and mortal kind, those he had sworn to fight to protect, and for what? For a vampire? Perhaps it was out of fear that his power and perceived right to vengeance would be taken away from him? Such irrationality. Mithias realized he himself was no different, except that he had lost his own love for humanity far more quickly. Perhaps there was a connection between them afterall.

The elder vampire, the black-haired woman, appeared to be of some experience, but there was no way for Mithias to tell much about her. She spoke English and bore a nonchalance with a deviated sense of priority that was characteristic of a few hundred years at least, but there was no hint of her loyalties, if she even had any.

Then there was the suffering fledgling. Mithias knew immediately that she had been used, she was far weaker and far easier to read than the other vampires. The Covenant had abused this fledgling. Certainly they would have abused Vladimir had he been weak enough for them to get away with it. It was just the way humans were. Mithias knew well that humans were creatures that took advantage wherever they could. It was only natural for their survival and dominance of the Earth. Once, Mithias had hoped that with age and experience, vampires could learn to overcome such cruelty, but of course, they too were born from humanity. This girl, this Eloise, would logically hate humanity and have no love for Covenant. Perhaps she deserved better than she had been treated, but at least for the moment, she was too weak to cause a problem.

The bloodwolf. Mithias was rightly tense being this close to him, but had watched him long enough to take the gamble. Silently, he admired the perfect facade of aloofness. The dog was habitually slow to act, always running his mouth even in front of the most volatile enemy, with that cheekish accent that was foreign everywhere he went. He had aided Covenant more than once, despite claims that he acted purely in his own self interest every time. Mithias knew better. He had seen the pattern. This was his best shot at an ally.

Regardless of whether Covenant got Eloise back, or if the other vampire woman was in league with the enemy, Mithias cut to the chase. "The vampire army that now harries Vance belongs to an oldblood named Magnus. I am certain that he led them here specifically to take out the Covenant base, and they have. They have taken hundreds of humans captive, including Covenant agents, and I can only imagine what fates await them." Mithias tried to keep his tone even, but the intensity of his emotion slipped past his guard and belied his desperation. He seemed deeply invested in these people for some unknown reason. "Please help me to free these human captives. Magnus will inevitably fail, but these innocent do not deserve to suffer." Perhaps he was in love with one of the abducted prisoners?
When I have to make a decision with heavy consequences, and I know there's no going back, I do it by envisioning myself in the future, after the choice has been made, and I analyze how I feel once it is done. Now, each of you, picture yourself in this rp without Urgugg anymore. ... Nobody is watching you, nobody is judging you. You can be honest with yourself in silence. How do you feel? Do you feel regret, better? Something else? That feeling you have, should tell you the choice you should go with. It has told me.

Personally, I feel relieved, and that tells me that I, bottom line, would be happier without Urgugg. In fact, I do not mean to hurt feelings, but I'd be happier without the player. Now I know that hurts to hear, but I'm kinda old and wise and shit, and I weild truth like a battleaxe. It has to be done. I don't hate Necroes or anyone, and I'm not mad in any way, but it's time someone, ie. me, laid it out there and said it like it is.

Now because I'm not a dick, and I care about how people feel, I am going to add this addendum. I'm going to explain a few things so my reasoning can be understood.

A psyker ork is a really cool character, and Necroes is a very good writer with a ton of imagination. However, I beleive that what people are in love with is what they thought this character would be or could be, rather than what he actually is in front of us on the screen. This character totally could work, lorewise, powerlevelwise, etc, but not as written by Necroes. You see, throughout this rp, Necroes has nixed and gibbed and fought and argued, demonstrating a repetitive resistance to suggestion, insensitivity to other player's and GM's enjoyment, and complete inability to predict other people having problems with his character's actions. He can't see through other player's eyes, and he should. He keeps saying we all have different persepctives on the world of warhammer 40k, yet never strives for concordance. In fact, he resists it and tries to sway the group. His proposals are wild and outlandish, and certainly exciting, but not probable in the least, giving this rp an almost animated, cartoonish feel in it's lack of realism. Urgugg at every event as been able to pop up doing whatever he wants and get away with it, because magic. This character never seems to find any reason to rely on any other character or stick with the band. Necroes' plans and desires just don't match the rest of ours.

I think what I have witnessed over time is a deficit in social maturity, ie. a player who can't work with others, and for me, it's getting frustrating to keep having to struggle with this ONE person to keep them involved, keep them alive, keep ME alive, and feel like my character has any relevency in comparison. Do you not remember we already lost a player for this very reason? The writing is good, but the rping is bad. I would much rather see a psyker ork played by Klomster or JB.

So that's how I really feel. I'm not demanding Necroes leave or we kill his character, but I have zero expectation that he will change. These are just not issues a person comes to understand overnight. He doesn't see what he is doing and isn't gonna. Necroes, if you quit, fine. No hard feelings. Maybe some day it'll be more fun to be in a thread with you.
Yes. Although I do like the alerts I get here. I check this site several times per day.
I should try to get a post up soon. Tonight or tomorrow.
I will say something tonight.
