Alright, be the change you wanna see then, fam.

Although, a God can smoke mortals, easy, so you probably won't be seeing anything too impressive in that regard. Plus, I've got three mortal heroins and a very handsome hero involved in Lifprasil's court - so it's not like there's a complete lapse in people not playing gods.

Unfortunately the crafting gods have claimed dominion over all the tech needed to advance society, like the wheel, so there's not much I can do in that regard.

That's insulting - Alefprian citizens, particularly Lifprasilians and their cousin races (Vulamerians and Vestecians as I call them) are particularly smart; but they don't have a grip upon mathematics. They do have a complex language, though, it's called "the First Tongue".

I think you're not giving ancient species enough rep, as a society we have grown smarter, but pre-history humans were basically more intelligent as an individual. Write a spinoff story or something - there's no use insulting the writing possibilities of a simpler era in history.

It was a hyperbole. What I'm saying is we can barely come up with any use for mortals in anything above a small village level, which to me is boring. I want to write epics, erect great monuments, create great institutions of knowledge. I want to be able to incorporate mortal proceedings in my writing more. Less gods and maybe 10-60 mortals attacking another god, and more gods and heroes leading armies of 10,000+ to attack another god. Makes for a more grandiose story. The massive fight between the chaos hordes and the valley of peace angels was really interesting to me, since it was an example where mortals and gods clashed in an impressive manner.
I'm personally eager to get moving as being stuck in the primitive age gives very, very little opportunities for good writing, and you can barely bring any mention to anything mortal. The only thing that matters is gods because the poor dumb mortals can barely grasp what pictures mean. I'd really like to get moving on to the point where instead of gods wandering around doing other things to other gods all on their lonesome, we express our powers by clashing empires against each other.
An actual very serious note about my post length, since I think now that you guys mention it they are getting a little absurd.

I do write because I love the feeling of people reading and incorporating my trash into their own creative works, it's true. But I also write simply because it's fun to do that writing, and it's fun to be in an environment where I can interact with other people's work as well.

So if you ever look at my sections and think, 'fuck, termi, this'll take me a while, i think i'll just skim the summary...' That is ok! That is fine and understandable and I won't demand more of your time than we actually need.

From now on I'll put a little more effort into summaries that actually help you guys prioritise sections that might be important to respond to, and bits that are mostly fun fluff that adds background to a relatively simple concept, like the Tauga and Help section of the latest chunk. Happy reading, everyone.

These are goood

I mean, I was actually asking for what songs inspired you to them, but damn, son. You did not disappoint.

Albert:
And we will stand above our city,
rising high above her streets.
From tops of buildings we will look
at all that lies beneath our feet.

And we will raise our hands above us,
cold steel shining in the sun,
and with these hands that will not bleed,
your father's battle will be won!

VESTEC WANTS NEITHER. HE IS DEATH AND DESPAIR AND-

Oh I give up.

aaaaa I went to sleep and just missed you by 30 min
@Antarctic Termite

  • I wait until modern tech level to set up an agreement between gods to maintain secrecy, creating a totally not an SCP Foundation ripoff to contain godly stuff and hide it from the public.
  • I want to take a city of crime and rebuild it into a city of steel using ROBOTS
  • I wanna create a blessed giant robot to punch giant vestec/jvan monstrosities
  • I wanna create heroes that are literally just mathematicians and Albert Einsteins instead of actual fighty heroes

All I can think of off the top of my head at the wonderful stormy fire-truck-sirens-at-4AM sleep deprivation time.
@Rtron You gonna join the collab? I was planning for Vestec to interrupt a dear diary session and I'm starting to run out of things to write after filling three pages with words.

>Dissecting the brain of a child with stone age tech.

You are going to need some fine stone for that.

We're getting obsidian soon, if my reading of Leo's post is correct. That's a very good, if short lived, material for surgery!
"Summoned beasts might need worryingly large amounts of meat to sustain forms. No matter, I have a city full of it."

Snippet from Lazarus' journal. He also ponders dissecting the brain of a child. Gross.

Yeah Vestec would love to meet Laz

I will PM you a google doc (Fuck Titanpad and piratepad they always disconnect me constantly)
