On a more serious note, sounds good - people should be punished for/when/if they do something that is not in-character but rather the 'best' choice at the time - or always being able to tell if someone is lying, seeing through bluffs and/or knowing when someone is tryin to deceive them, even when they have no logical or background-relative reason for being able to do so.. Playing a video game and playing a different personality in a story are not the same after all. :p
As for Co-GM, you should probably pick someone who is active, is good at keeping secrets and has a firm grasp of english - and can make themself understood in said language. Of course, that may be difficult to do until after the roleplay starts up... ^^;
@UnendingEmpire: You have excellent taste for realizing my excellent taste. *nods*

@TheWindel: It is good to know that you intend to not let meta-gaming be a problem, but just how is that going to be put into effect? Since horror and psychological stories rely heavily on the fact that people don't meta-game, less they lose all suspense and interesting atmosphere, just giving people a slap on the wrist for meta-gaming isn't really going to cut it. Of course, if it's something severe, like having piano wire extend from the walls and tear their head off, by all means, I'm all up in your faon your side~

Thingymabobs and thingymadoodads are my favorite things! :D

Really now? I myself am partial to thingymajigs, but I tip my hat to you! ... If I had one...

CS should be coming soon, still deciding on appearance and schtuff... You know, cuz I' finicky and picky about what my guize look like... :<
Scary, mentally questionable, horrific and gruesome terrors of fright and dread? Sounds fun.
Is the setting original, or did you draw inspiration from any one, or multiple, source(s)?
Whatever the case, just like Skys, I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time - but never found anyone who could cater to my taste. So, count me in! :)

Just hope you have some plan to deal with potential meta-gaming players...
Since supposedly the story borrows influences from multiple fantasy-settings, not just Alice in Wonderland and Tolkien's works, I think having some crazy, steampunk-thingymadoodads is just fine. ^^
I'm in your threadz, jackin' your plotz~

On a different note, do you prefer pictures, text or both when it comes to appearance-descriptions? And if the first or latter, do prefer Live-Action pictures, anime-styled or otherwise 2D/3D scanlatiobs/cartoony/CGI?
Huhuhu... The possibilities of mind-warp are so fun~

And Parsee is a Bridge Princess from the Touhou-series of games. She has the power to manipulate and control jjealousy. She is also, obviously, quite jealous. Of Everyone. For everything. Ever. 'Cuz jealousy.
Hurrp-a-durrp, alright then, that answers my question.

Something else I'd want to ask was if the "representations of real life people from her pre-coma-life" has to be actual people, or if they could be like an imaginary friend from her childhood - seeing as influences of the Wonderland-like coma-fantasy world is based on just that, her childhood. I just imagined a funny, but evil, idea of this supposed old imaginary friend following her around and being supposedly helpful and on her side, while in fact possibly being a detriment to her growth and such. Iunno, it was just an idea I played with in my mind-hole.

And yes, I'll stick around to pay attention to see what you fine folks come up with.

Math is Mathilicious.

EDIT:

Oh, and thank you for appreciating my little Parsee-siggy. I'm sure she'll be jealous that you told me of its fabulousness first, rather than her, though.
Hum... An interesting idea but...

If all the players have collective control of the Main Character, won't that cause catastrophic inconsistencies in the character's personality? For example, if one person plays a Best Friend who helps, cheers on and brightens the Main Character's mood and thoughts, and another Player plays the role of an alcoholic, demeaning and controlling father who constantly berates, belittles and makes the character feel generally bad, this would cause the mood to plummet, even though she was previously happy and bright. This could lead to the situation known as a Personality Rollercoaster, where the character actually has no set personality and is instead just a ball of random emotions that go either up and/or down all willy-nilly-like.

I like the idea and concept, it's fresh and sounds fun, but I'm a person who enjoys consistency, especially in characters - that is, I don't like it when, as an example, a tough, burly and terse person suddenly goes all long-winded speeches and shows an over-abundance of empathy and softness/caring. I'm not saying a person has to follow their usual persnnality all the time, not at all - we all act outside our usual persona sometimes - but when it happens to such an extreme that is actually hard to perceive the character as the same person you're used to, that is they act so far outside and beyond their personality that you can't even identify them as their usual self, I get a bit eye-twitchy.

Still, it sounds like a fun idea and I would be interested to at least stay and see how things work out/proceed from here. :)
I miraculously got back in touch with Koma recently (this morning) and she told me she'll be returning.
That only really leaves Lucrezia then, and I can handle that character on my own for now.
Also, I don't think handing previously made characters out to new players is a good thing, as they'll likely want to create their own characters and play a role they themselves picked.
Though, that could just be how I feel about it - dunno if you guys would be willing to join an RP where someone said: Hey there, welcome, you're gonna be playing this character, here's the CS!
