Shiori did neither react nor respond when Shizune picked her up and started scolding her. Not even when the vamåiress bared her fangs did the club president flinch, but rather just kept staring off into the distance with a glazed look on her eyes. Whatever she was thinking, it was far more pressing and consuming than the current reality - though, given that she had just been the cause for three deaths, that wasn't exactly hard to understand. However, when she was finaly tossed onto the floor, the sudden bumping against a hard surface brought her back into reality - just in time to hear the wailing cries of Shinobu.
Blinking a few times in silent confusion, it took a moment for her to regain both bearings and realizationb of where she was, who was with her and what had just happened. She felt sick and nauseous, a biig knot was causuing her stomach to hurt and she could feel her heart in her throat. The crying of the green-haired girl didn't help the situation, and it was only then that she noticed it. The body... The lifeless body of somebody not breathing was lying next to Shinobu.
"Ah..." She tried to say something, but shut her mputh almost at once. A frown spread across her face. So someone died over on their end too... was her only thoughts.
No, this wouldn't do. As bad as she felt and as guilty as she was, standing around moping and worrying about it wouuld not do anyone any good. If she was wallowing in despair and anxiety over what she had done, then there would be no moving forward - there'd just be stagnant introspective thoughts, which this maze-like nightmare surely would take advantage off in the end. Shiori shook her head slightly and took a breath - Yes, as much as she was a murderer, even if not intended, and as much as she regretted her actions just a few minutes ago, she was still alive - and so was Shinobu, Reika and shizune.
Their group had dwindled quite fast and they were upon the verge of breaking apart, but then... How would they get out? That's right, they couldn't fall here, they had to keep going, even if it hrt, even if it was tiring, even if it it felt impossible - they had go on, otherwise, they'd all die. And that, that would be the greatest insult to the rest who had died - not being able to escape and inform their loved ones about their demise and ultimate fate. Shiori's eyes regained some focus and she swallowed, just in time to hear Shizune's question.
"Yes... It'd be a good idea to find somewhere we can rest,... And talk." She answered in her calm, although slightly subdued and more quite-than-usual tone."... I'm feeling abit exhausted myself at the moment, and my head could use a breather." Now that was the understatement of the century.
Her head turned to look at Reika and Shinobu.
"What about you two? I'm sure you've seen or gone through something horrible too..." It was easy to guess that they had, given Shinobu's seemingly haviing broken down.

I didn't do anything for the Ratatoskr or the other Spirits, because Mayu+Suichi are already busy enough to not need my help, and - as I said earlier - Spirits will hafta find their own little things to do... At least until it's your turn to get an invitation from Ms. Wall.
Sorry it took so long, I had to call and try to get a hold of someone at the UO today, and then I kinda sorta took a (far too extended) nap... ^^

Over at the park-area
The captain sighed in exchaustion. Today had not been a good day, and there would be tonnes of paperwork and inquiries by the brass to deal with once they got back and she filled out the report for today's mission. As she heard the questions from her subordinate though, she turned back and gave her a confident face, not a smile, but a confident face.
"Not much we can do here, doesn't seem like they left a trail and the Spirit went and vanished too." A brief pause, she looked to both sides of her, as if to confirm that there was nothing around. "We'll head back to base. You can all make it back there on your own, can't you? I need to stay and confirm a few things, as well as get some of the recordings we can get our hands on." She stated, before turning to her vice-captain and nodding.
"You heard the cap'n, girls! Head back to base, put away yer gear'n hit the showers before you go home!" The Osaka-native vice-leader of the team shouted in her distinct dialect.
The girls looked at each other and then, slowly, one by one, took off into the air and began heading back towards HQ at their own pace. It didn't seem there'd be anything more to do this evening, so everyone could just take it at things at their rate and then head home.
In the alleyway
"What a rude girl~" The "wall" said in mock anger. If it had had cheeks, it likely would've puffed them up, but being a wall it lacked such features and thus remained rather flat and expressionless."I nver said I didn't konw the answer, you know? I said you were asking the wrong question." The wall re-buttled to the Reaper, implying that the faux death-god was actually the real idiot here.
Suddenly though, there was a ripple along the surface of the wall, like how a placid lake is disturbed and forms rings when you throw a small stone into it. Of course, brick and cement being a non-viscuous and rather solid material, this looked quite strange to say the least. Before much else could be done though, a small tear appeared in the wall, as if someone had pulled down a zipper. There was a hole... Or, perhaps not? There was light coming from, white and pristine light that was quite bright - far too bright to be a mere lamp or street-light.
If you squinted, you could see - through this newly opened gap that seemed to lead into a world of light - a dark figure standing some distance inside. It was holding its hand out, as if reaching for something. The face, clothes and overall color of the person was completely obscured, as the light seemed to come from behind them and thus, caused their silhouette to appear as just a black, mysterious shape.
But then... The voice from the wall came once more, but this time sounding much closer and without the echoing effect. It came from the hole.
"If you want answers, maybe you should come with me~?" The voice beckoned, as did the outstretched hand. "Choose quickly though, I'm afraid I don't have time to sit around and wait for you to think this offer over for long." This last part sounded far more smug than usual, as if it was taunting the Reaper with a 'Come now, or you miss out'-sort of proposal.
