My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Madison

"Ha...no, not exactly. We just didn't get along. I mean, the second he set foot in Mr. K's--er, I mean, Mr. Kessinger's office, we clashed. But, hey, it happens to the best of us, right?"

Madison gave Emi a little smile, and continued walking towards class. "How about you, little miss? Do you have any love interests in your class...or in the school, for that matter?" Madison wasn't looking to spread any gossip as she was merely curious. The girl looked just as young as she did, and admittedly, Madison's never been in a serious relationship. A few dates here and there, but nothing more. Maybe it was her young age, or her lack of experience. Or both, honestly.

"I've never had a boyfriend, to tell you the truth, but I do remember my first kiss." At that, Madison couldn't help but blush. Even though it was a quick peck, and nothing more, John was one of the guys she fell for but didn't necessarily got over when he started chasing another girl. Not for a long time, at least.
With every passing minute, Lily's options were running extremely low, and she couldn't help but feel that every single choice she had made for the night had been completely wrong. Not only did Graffiti disappeared onto the rooftops, but prior to her rushing away from the scene, some other creep made a split-second appearance holding what Lily could have sworn to be a head. But who knows, it could have been a bag of food as far as she could tell.

"I understand," she replied, even though that's not truly how she felt, "and I'm sorry about the hostility, but I don't want any trouble." With that, Lily lowered her weapon, although she didn't necessarily put it back in her purse. Instead, she let it hang by her side, finger still resting against the trigger. "I just met Graffiti when I knocked on the front door to the diner. I was attacked in the cemetery, and I needed help. I promise you I wasn't doing anything wrong."

Lily wasn't necessarily throwing anyone under the bus, but she was tossing the victim card around in order to get Red Claw to hopefully feel some empathy towards her. That, and Graffiti could gain some serious advantage time the longer Red Claw remained distracted. Lily couldn't necessarily follow her up the fire escape, but she would just walk around and find another way to the rooftops. That would only happen if Red Claw bought her lies and agreed to leave though.

Excuse the crappy post, I can't seem to concentrate on anything today.
Jennifer

"Or...maybe he got tired of you already," she added, regardless of how inappropriate her comment sounded at the moment. Jennifer went back to the kitchen to pour herself a drink, walking directly over the mess the clone had left. "By the way, you're stuck cleaning this now that your #1 fan is gone," she said to Nate from behind the counter before opening one of the cabinets to fetch her bottle of wine. She then reached for a glass, looking back towards the living room. "Any of you want anything to drink?"

It took a minute for Lily to realize her mistake, but the guilt hit her just as hard. God, I'm such an idiot...

"I'm so sorry," she mouthed to Arlene, who had been nothing but a saint to her. Lily kept her gun aimed at the guy, her finger patiently resting on the trigger ready to pull it if he as so much moved an inch towards either one of the women. "You can go if you wish," she added, now audible enough for the guy to hear, "I can take care of him."

Without compromising her advantage over the man, Lily slowly sidestepped over to Arlene, who looked ready to go. "I'm not sure what he wants with either one of us, but I've got your back. Trust me."

With that, she stepped in between the man and Arlene. Looking him over, Lily wondered how powerful his one piece was, although she hoped that it wasn't strong enough for a bullet. "You should turn around and leave the same way you came from," she said to him with a calm voice, the familiar anxiety she felt refusing to surface.

"Thanks!" Lily jumped down from the window without losing her footing, then closed it in order to set things back to normal. "Hey, so what do you say--" but she stopped, noticing a figure approaching them. Lily turned to Arlene, asking her if she knew the man, but the answer was obvious seeing as his appearance was masked.

"But of course..." she whispered to herself. Lily didn't need an explanation as she had it all figured out, or so she thought. They had set the perfect trap against her and she didn't even see it coming. Without hesitation, Lily pulled her weapon from her bag and aimed it at Arlene and then at the costumed stranger, one vigilante she wasn't familiar with at all.

"Big mistake trying to corner me!" Lily said, ironically enough backing into the wall. "I don't know what you want from me, but I am not going to make it easy for either of you. Take another step and you're as good as dead!"

Lily pulled the hammer back on her weapon without being provoked, but around these neighborhoods, you couldn't be careful enough. "Go ahead, and try me..." she added.

Roughly within about 10 feet, so Nate is really at the border going by the picture of the apartment.

I haven't notified Acer, no, but I mean, Nate's being on the couch for what, 15 or 20 minutes? And it's about dinnertime, so 8-10 hours will be spent sleeping anyway.

And I meant to say that it takes a minimum of 10 to 15 seconds standing by the statue for the "witchcraft" to take effect. Every minute you spent near it after that is approximately another hour you lose.

I can scrap the idea altogether, I mean, I just thought it'd be a fun twist.
Jennifer

"Take a picture, Vin, it'll last longer," she added playfully as she sat next to him. Jennifer had noticed one of the clones in her kitchen, making a mess expected.

"Isn't that a nice view?" she added, more so to distract herself from killing the second Nate, not that it would do much anyway. "I've fallen asleep more times than I count on this couch just looking out past that balcony, but of course, more than half of those nights I can't even remember. If only--"

Jennifer stopped when she heard a crash from the kitchen. "Hey! This isn't your mother's kitchen!" She pushed herself up by placing a hand on Vincent's tigh, not concerned with the fact that he was only wearing a towel. As she headed to the kitchen, she saw the clone looking at his hands as he slowly began to fade away. The last thing Jennifer saw was a fearful expression on his face.

"Hey, Nate, can you tell me why your clone looked scared out of his mind when he disappeared?" she asked, walking back towards the living room to sit next to Vin again.

Hey, so that statue in JJ's apartment...it actually nullifies anyone's abilities if they stand within 10 ft of it for long enough, I'd say 10-15 seconds. Every minute you're within range, is another hour your ability will be out of use. I'm telling you this because Nate is the only one using his ability like every hour.

Props to @Rawk for the idea.
