My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

"Hey, watch where you're going!" Annelise shouted to the driver of the vehicle that had nearly ran her over as she was crossing the street. She had to react quickly in order to avoid being seriously injured or killed. The driver, none the wiser, waved a half-assed "sorry, my bad" and sped off. But Annelise had already memorized his license plate, A0K69, and to make matters worse for the driver, there weren't many orange cars in town. Not this flashy, at least. She would eventually go to Scott with that information and convince him to help her find the idiot.

Annelise was walking at a rather accelerated speed through the park, deciding to take out her phone and use its map to help her find the small mom and pop shop where her mother liked to buy the candles from. She had been dragged out there before many years ago, but she wasn't particularly good with directions. Just as she was able to locate the store, she clumsily walked into someone much more taller than herself.

Annelise gasped in surprise, then whispered a quick apology to the man and the young woman by his side who appeared to be his girlfriend.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," Annelise smiled, feeling her cheeks growing warm as she pointed at her cell phone.

Melanie returned to the small questioning room, taking her seat across Chizuru once more. She waited until the guard closed the door behind him before she resumed the session.

"Thank you, Chizuru, for your patience. What I want to do now is have you take a personality test. It's 50 questions, multiple choice." Melanie pulled up the assessment, setting some parameters with time. "You'll have a maximum of one minute to answer each individual question. After that time, the system will automatically skip to the next question. This assessment is designed to determine what your top personality trait is, but I'll explain a bit more after you've finished." Melanie turned the tablet around to face Chizuru. "Do you have any questions before I step outside?"

The cyborg blinked at the tablet. She looked at her gauntleted hand - with a quiet hiss, the claws split on the bottom and retracted, uncovering a small feminine hand, with grayish skin and some electrical conductors on the fingertips. "I don't think so." She said in a distracted tone of voice. "I can begin."

"Very well then, I'll be right outside with the guards if you need me."

Melanie got up and stepped outside, explaining to one of the guards that the cyborg was to have complete privacy until she was done with her assessment. Now that Melanie had quite a bit of time to kill, she started to wonder what she should do until then.

The front page of the test application stared at Chizuru. A program that determines dominant personality traits - for some strange reason, the result worried her deeply. What if she gets a 'no personality - AI detected' result? Or something about murderous intent, serious disorders or other results that would fail her?

She lightly touched the corner of the tablet's screen. A barely noticeable aberration wave washed over the picture as the interface was hacked to allow bidirectional data transfer. This would make any clicks on answers easier, she thought as the data stream ran through her head. Interface - kernel - database: She suddenly became aware she had access to the program's logic level, and were able to determine the meaning of each question. The cyborg quickly let go of the tablet - the real answer, as accurate as such a test can be, intrigued her. And it wouldn't do any good to cheat on a personality test anyway. She had nothing to hide.

The data interface on her fingers turned off, Chizuru lightly pressed the 'START' icon.

After Chizuru announced she had completed the test, Melanie went back into the small interrogation room with her.

"I'm sure you're ready to hear the results and get out of here, so let's get to it," Melanie said, sitting down once more before grabbing the tablet. She spent about half a minute clicking away before turning her attention to the cyborg again.

"Alright, let me give you the quick breakdown. The top 5 personality traits are as follows: extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness. Extraversion represents good social skills, it's the opposite of being an introvert. Agreeableness is characterized by your kindness, compassion, and trust towards others. Conscientiousness has to do with goal-oriented behaviors such as organization and attention to detail. Neuroticism is measured by emotional instability, moodiness, and sadness. Lastly, openness describes individuals who are adventurous and creative. Now, as far as your results go, you scored the highest on conscientiousness. This is good as it shows you'll be an asset to whichever team you join, although you must be mindful of the boundary lines, especially since we're living here in the ark." As she said those words, Melanie hoped Chizuru wouldn't act accusatory towards her again, although she could retaliate later by exposing Chizuru's major flaws to Gavon and Admiral Locke. She would focus more on the negatives than the positives, and it could very well cost Chizuru her much-desired job. But that's only if the cyborg crossed her; Melanie liked to save her manipulations for personal affairs.

"Now then, I will get these to Chief TreVayne and Admiral Locke as soon as I return to my office. Do you have any additional questions and concerns at this time?"

"Yes." Of the many thoughts about these results, one seemed to push the others away. "Have you ever had an AI take this test? Can it detect extreme psychosis or lack of basic compassion?“

Chizuru wasn't sure why this was so important to know. Perhaps prison was getting to her.

"Yes, this test has been administered on AIs as part of past studies. The purpose of this assessment, though, is to determine personality traits, therefore additional testing is required for psychopathy and other forms of mental illnesses." Melanie gave Chizuru some time to think. "I can conduct those assessments as well, if you'd like. It only becomes mandatory if one of the higher-ups makes the request."

"And they didn't request it?" The cyborg tilted her head. "Is this standard procedure for all applicants for Security duty then? I thought Mr TreVayne had a lot more tests in mind. Unless... unless he thinks that Mr Locke is a wall I can't pass."

"Yes," she finally said. "Please, throw everything you got at me." The Admiral was an unknown enemy and she needed everything she could get to use on him.

"Other security candidates are able to avoid this step. The assessments administered to them are different than those I use for my regular clients. You would still go through the various testing phases like everyone else if ultimately given the chance, but before we get there, I have to conduct a quick briefing with Admiral Locke so that he may reach a decision on whether to move forward with you."

Melanie started packing up her stuff, giving Chizuru the chance to think about the information that had just been given to her.
Kelly recognized Czigani's voice in her half-asleep state. "We need to talk. Soon...", she had said, making Kelly wonder just what was so damn important. But at least Czigani was awake now. Well, both women were.

Kelly was hesitant at first, lying in bed for nearly a minute or so before she pushed the covers aside to get to her feet. She walked across the room, rubbing her face in the process as her mind started to flood with various thoughts of the events that had led up to that very moment. Kelly stepped out into the dimly lit hallway, and right away she knew where Czigani was when she saw the bathroom light flood out through the crack underneath the bathroom door.

"Czigani, you wanted to talk?" Kelly knocked lightly on the door before she let herself in. It was an invasive move, but it's not like privacy wasn't already abused by both of them.

"How are you feeling, is everything okay?"

Czigani was relaxing in the bathtub, barely moving but still acknowledging Kelly's presence. She took a seat on the same bench Czigani had used earlier, a bit anxious at this point as she wondered why the woman was taking her time with a response.

The following morning after work, Annelise headed down to Main Street to buy her usual breakfast which consisted of a butter croissant with a side of hot chocolate. Whenever she wasn't in the mood to make herself some eggs, which was nearly every morning, she would go down to the busy coffee shop and spend some time down there reading one of her old anatomy books. Just because she couldn't handle medical school at the moment didn't mean the subject intrigued her any less.

Annalise hadn't gotten much sleep last night, and dark circles underneath her eyes were a clear indication of that. She wore a simple grey sweater dress and maroon boots, nothing that screamed for attention, and her hair was pulled back into a simple ponytail. Since recent rumors about hunters were spreading as of late, Annelise tried her best to fit in as much as possible with the general population.

"Miss, what would you like?" the woman behind the counter asked Annelise, distracting her from her daydreams.

"Oh, right. just a croissant and a hot chocolate, please."

"We're out of croissants for the day, sorry."

"Oh..." Annalise was clearly disappointed, but she ordered a hot a chocolate and decided she would simply hold out until lunchtime. After paying for the drink and getting her order, she went back outside to take a scroll before she had to run errands for the day.
"Miss, another Heineken please," the man at one end of the bar waved at Annelise.

"Coming right up!" she added, acknowledging her customer as she restocked some bottles of alcohol. Scott, the bar manager, stood by the door, watching the young woman work. He was concerned for her well-being because a couple of nights ago, she was robbed at gunpoint after leaving work. Nobody was hurt, luckily, and the perpetrator got away with only the cash she'd collected that evening from the tip jar. Nonetheless, Scott felt terribly guilty about it all. Hell, he even blamed himself to a certain extent. But the past was in the past, and there was nothing he could do about it now but learn from his mistakes.

"Is he your last one?" Scott asked, walking by Annelise before grabbing a Heineken.

"Unless Casper just walked in, he's my closer," she smiled to herself. But that smile soon turned into a frown after she realized why Scott had to stay until closing with her. "You don't have to stay here just to walk me, you know--"

"Nonsense," he cut her off, walking past her again but this time in the opposite direction, "I'm walking you every night and that's that".

Annelise only sighed, watching him as he disappeared to the back through the double doors. She knew he wouldn't change his mind, so she just dropped it. Besides, she would be lying to herself if she told anyone she didn't enjoy their late-night walks.

Name: Annelise Hansen

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight, although she doesn't entirely rule out women if the opportunity arises.

Appearance: Annelise is short for her age, about 5 feet, and she weighs no more than 98 lbs. She has light-brown hair and pale green eyes. No major scars or tattoos adorn her pale skin.

Personality: A sarcastic, witty comedian at times, but otherwise keeps to herself. She's social at her job, like she has to be, but she much prefers to spend her time solving a complicated puzzle. It shouldn't go without saying that she can be quite the party animal if she's in the mood for it though.

Bio: Originally from Denmark, Annelise and her parents migrated over to the states when she was just 5 years old. They settled in Carlsford with minimum struggle as all three members of the family were bilingual, although Annelise still suffered from culture shock due to her young age.

Fast forward 8 years later and out of the blue, the young girl learns she's a witch. The discovery was purely accidental after she cut herself with an abalone shell and noticed she could manipulate her blood without touching it. A few more series of tests followed, and it finally sunk in for Annelise that she was indeed a witch. Despite her close relationship with her parents, Annelise never told them about her ability.

Currently, the young woman holds a job as a bartender in Blue Sam's, one of the busier bars on Main Street. She's had the job for 5 months ever since going on break from medical school, that which nearly led her to have a full mental breakdown from all the stress she was enduring. While simultaneously drowning in her studies, members of the coven were attempting to convince her to join. Annalise always declined, much preferring the "lone wolf" status so that she could avoid whatever trouble came their way. She had enough on her plate already, and she didn't need more problems.

Magical Specialty: Blood manipulation. A rainbow abalone pendant hangs from Annelise's neck, that which she uses to cut herself [or someone else] in order to gain full control of her [or their] blood.
If the singing didn't attract them, the dancing surely would have.

EDIT: @Polaris North, there's your chance.
Elizabeth was enjoying the movie. Not one she would think about seeing if it were up to her, but since Nancy had brought it down, she was glad she had been given a chance to watch it. No one else was saying much, and for a good reason. Elizabeth would grab a handful of popcorn every so often, glad to have a snack past dinnertime that didn't require sneaking it around past the guards. Just then, Nancy decided to start singing one of the songs from the movie. Elizabeth stared at her for a moment, softly bobbing her head to the catchy tune until she couldn't help but laugh.

"Alright, you got me!" She kicked off her shoes, then stood on the table opposite to where the laptop had been placed. Undoing her ponytail, Elizabeth started dancing as if she was in some carnival and not the break room of a secluded hospital. She didn't show any restraint aside from the making sure she didn't take a wrong step and fell off the table. The broken bones wouldn't be fun to explain to anyone currently not in the room.

Once the song was over, Elizabeth took a bow with a smile. She went back to her seat to put her shoes on again, a bit of relief flowing through her that no one had walked in at the wrong moment.

Hm, although a three way collab sounds fun, I can have Mel show up at the brig. @Rawk, let me know if I should be aware of anything.
