My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

I'm honestly confused as hell right now.
Someone needs to attend some AA meetings.
@Rawk

You're co-gm here too? I think that's the case for all the games we've been in.
Smart ass...
@Americore

I'm thinking once you post, there'll be a time skip until the movie is over. I'll wait for that.
Oh come on Sep, how can you take that away from me?
Done editing! Ball's in your court @Heat @Rawk
@Sep

Ah, okay. Don't worry, I'll edit my post when I get home. I should read other people's posts and CSs but I prefer to know just as much as my character so my posts aren't biased. I hope that makes sense.

I assumed it'd be in his file, unless you don't want it to be?
"Hm." Melanie clicked away at her keyboard to retrieve the nameless file NOAH was talking about. Simultaneously, she also pulled up Michael's file, although she didn't pay it too much mind as it was rather ordinary at first glance. But nonetheless, the request came from the admiral, and she would be a fool if she were to toss it aside to handle it at a later time. Melanie pulled up her calendar to work Michael into her schedule. She looked him up in the directory and sent him a request to either confirm or deny the scheduled meetings. If those times and dates didn't work for him, he would find an attachment on the message that would prompt him to indicate his availability. Melanie then focused her attention on the first file. She quickly scanned through the document, mentally taking notes of some of the main comments that stood out to her such as "mechanically-enhanced female" and "aspires to work in the security department".

Melanie detached the screen from her main computer and grabbed one of the pens from her top drawer to write down some notes on the subject according to what she had just read.

Top factor:
- Conscientiousness

Possible fanaticism and A.D.

Her scribbles were simple, quick-formed impressions of the subject and were not by any means to be included in her final report without conducting a a face-to-face assessment beforehand. Melanie saved the file, reattached the screen, and sent a message to Gavon to inform him that she would be available to meet with his candidate any time after 3:00 PM for the next couple of days. She also advised him to inform Admiral Locke that her current professional opinion on the subject was favorable, and that it wouldn't impede with her getting the job as long as she was willing to meet with Melanie a few times a week. Of course, this was pending their initial assessment, and any red flags would be communicated immediately to Gavon and the admiral's office, as ultimately, they had the final say on the matter.

After hitting send, Melanie tidied up her office before leaving for her break. She grabbed her Notepad and put it away in the bag, then quickly took out a small mirror to spot check her hair. She frowned at the dark circles underneath her eyes, mentally cursing her bad sleeping habits and nightmares that prevented her from getting a good night's rest.

"It is what it is," she whispered to herself as she reached for her access card. Melanie thought about acquiring help, primarily in the form of sleeping aids, but she would have to go see a doctor and that just wouldn't sit too well with her. Instead, she pushed the idea out of her head and locked her office door, that which automatically activated an away message that would display for anyone who stopped by to see her before she returned.
