Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

So @Dark Light, do we continue our own interaction in the previous timeline and then we go back to the future *nudge nudge*, or do we just say Stryker's intercom message interrupted our interaction and then after meeting in the war room, we continue where we left off? Up to you of course, I just feel like our characters are stuck in limbo.
The SWAT officer had placed Jennifer in the back of a black SUV, her hands remaining uncomfortably handcuffed behind her back, and in a matter of seconds they screeched away from the chaotic scene, that of confused bystanders and club goers who had flooded outside into the parking lot to see what the commotion was all about.

"You haven't read me my rights, you know," Jennifer added to break the silence after some time. In turn, the officer—who had by now taken off his helmet as well as his gas mask—only looked at her through the rear-view mirror. She stared back, but she was once more met with silence save for the typical traffic noises of a busy city intersection.

"But you don't have to," she sighed as she finally accepted the fact that this wasn't a typical arrest. Jennifer leaned her head against the glass window. She figured that she might as well attempt to track their path through whatever familiar road they drove through, if only to figure out where she was eventually going to end up.

A little while later, Jennifer noticed they pulled up into the back parking lot of some tall, grey building. She was helped out of the vehicle and ushered through a back door. It was getting late at that point and Jennifer couldn't help but wonder whether she was going to get any sleep at all.

"Have a seat," the officer finally said after opening a door and motioning for her to seat on one of the chairs on either side of the table. Jennifer did as she was told and then waited in the all too quiet room.
The loud, unexpected banging on the door startled Amy awake from her nap. She rubbed her face in frustration when a familiar voice demanded she opened the door, and it only took her a few seconds to realize who it was.

"I don't want anything to do with you!" she shouted, sitting up on the bed as a wave of anger suddenly hit her. Regardless of the fact that she was wearing her pajamas—a plain white t-shirt and light blue shorts—Amy stomped across the small room until she reached the door and opened it just the slightest bit, the sheer weight of it throwing her off guard.

"Unless you have a work-related message to relay, your best bet is to turn around and go back wherever you came from," she said, her voice not as loud as before but nonetheless carrying the same level of hate. She had honestly assumed that Arex was dead, but now that she found out that wasn't the case, she couldn't help but feel even more contempt towards the man.

Name: Derrick Hunter

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Race: White

Occupation: Second year student/Editing Assistant

Apperance: Derrick stands at 6'0 tall with a medium built. He has black, semi long hair and hazel eyes. His body is covered in tattoos although he has no piercings.

History: Derrick was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He was the result of his mother's rape and as such, he's never met his real father despite the man is sitting in prison rotting away. As a kid, Derrick attended public school from Pre-K until the 12th grade. He was a smart boy, but he simply didn't care enough. As he matured, though, and realized that good grades were important, he picked up the game and eventually graduated with a 3.9 GPA.

Derrick has always been a troublemaker. Such fact could be attributed to the lack of a father figure in his life, or simply because he got mixed in with the wrong crowd. Nonetheless, he's been in and out of juvi a few times and has been punished rather harshly for it by his mother. Despite his attitude out in the streets, Derrick always respected his mother and never intentionally did anything to harm her. This independence translated well into his late teens when he received a scholarship to a journalism program in the West Coast. Even though the news made his mother cried, she was happy for him. He's been living in Salem, Oregon since that day, and is currently a sophomore in school.
@Crossfire works for me boss.

Nickname
Lily

Faction
Overseers

Rank
Corporal Overseer

Age
35

Lily is seen as a bit of a pessimist, even though she considers herself a realist. With that said, she will almost always fight for what's right, which at times has brought problems within her chain of command.

Height
5'5

Weight
130 lbs

Appearance
Lily still looks good for her age, a testament of her diet and exercise routine. Her medium-brown hair typically falls down to just below her shoulders, although lately she's been letting it grow longer. Her skin is free of blemishes or scars (aside from those she acquired as a child), but she has a tattoo that's a few years old. The design goes down the inside of the center of her left arm, between her elbow and wrist. It reads "For mom and dad, always...", in cursive.

Positive Traits:
  • Honest.
  • Empathetic.
  • Resourceful.

Negative Traits:
  • Very easily angered at times.
  • Impatient.
  • Likes to believe she is right most of the time.

Personality Description
Lily doesn't have any one specific personality type. On one hand, she likes to believe that she's a decent person, but her random outbursts maker her feel inadequate at best. While she genuinely enjoys helping people, without expecting anything in return, she sometimes says things she doesn't mean, and will downright argue with someone if she's provoked. The back and forth that occurs within her mind always makes her think how much worse she'd be if she actually had dissociative identity disorder.

Lily is the type of person that's a straight shooter. She will be honest with anyone if she's asked for her opinion, otherwise she'll remain silent. Lily hates fake people, those who make themselves appear to be better than they are and always put down everyone else. She doesn't have the patience to deal with such childish games and will avoid anyone who's acting as such.

Given that she's been doing her job for some time now, Lily likes to believe that she has an answer to every problem. While it's true that she's very good at what she does, Lily doesn't like to be corrected, much less criticized for something she did wrong. Sometimes she'll take the criticism personally and she ends up questioning herself and her ability to do her job, but that's just part of who she is.

Quirks
  • She cracks her fingers a lot.
  • Whenever Lily is in deep thought, she tends to bite her bottom lip.
  • If she's aggravated, she'll rub her face in frustration.

Specialties
  • She's a great runner, both sprinting and long distance.
  • Skilled in close-quarters combat, something she's always practicing.
  • Multi-lingual; knows Spanish and Portuguese as well.

Weaknesses
  • Adjustment Disorder: Expects things go smoothly if she's in a high emotional state, and becomes distressed when it otherwise doesn't.
  • Lily at times expects people to read her mind when it comes to her emotions.
  • If she's extremely angered, she'll become an emotionless person not caring for anyone, not even those closest to her.

Inventory
  • The standard uniform issued to her.
  • Her sidearm.
  • A pair of handcuffs.
  • Multi-tool kit.
  • A flask neatly hidden within her uniform.

Fears
  • Fire.
  • Being completely defenseless in a compromising situation.
  • Heights.

Secret(s)
Lily helped Thrax with the assassination plot against former Captain Overseer McGarth. Even though they both agreed to take such secret to their graves, Lily at times can't help but regret her involvement in the ordeal.

Goal(s)
Lily hopes to change the negative mindset members of the various factions have against the Overseers, which is quite honestly a bit of an overreach. She also hopes to stabilize relations between the two groups by first going through the Collective.

History
Lily was born and raised in Brazil to a very young couple still in their teens. The stress of bringing a new life into the world made her father, Luca, get involved with the wrong crowd which eventually led to his murder. Her mother, Maria, was heart-broken, but she soon found solace when soldiers arrived in Rio on a side mission. Maria met one of these young men and they got married right away, moving the family to Canada When Lily was just 3 years old.

Despite not being related by blood, Lily's step-father treated her as his own. She lived the typical life of a military child, especially when her step-father accepted a permanent assignment to TRAPPIST-1 when she was just 13 years old. Since her life had taken a completely different turn, Lily decided she wanted a career similar to that of her step-father, a job where she could help make a difference.

A couple of years later, Lily found herself getting into the field of Law Enforcement. She started off as a warden within the women's wing of the maximum security prison in TRAPPIST-1. Getting to know those women over the years made Lily realize that she loved her job, and she enjoyed the fact that she could help those who couldn't help themselves.

Life was more or less going smoothly for the small family until Lily's parents were murdered...the culprit getting away with such heinous crime as the investigation that was launched only concluded with more questions being raised. Lily suffered a mental breakdown once it finally sunk in that her parents were gone for good, and for a long time, she pushed people away unless she was working. She focused all her time and energy into her job, and when the Collective took notice of how quickly Lily was rising through the ranks, they offered her a position as an Overseer.

Lily then found an even greater sense of purpose within her new job. She quickly made friends with a lot more people to include Thrax, whom she looked up to due to his commitment to his job. They'd known each other for some time when Thrax eventually approached her with his plan, one that Lily was reluctant to even consider but eventually agreed to after some time and persuasion. Since then, Lily tries to not think much about her past and instead, looks forward to the future.

I'm planning to bust JJ out, actually. Violet's got to get discovered by the government somehow, even if they won't figure out her power from it.

Alright, deal.
Is anyone else planning to get caught? If not, I'll go down alone and figure out a way to escape later.
@beyond visions Yeah, that's fine.
