My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Come out, come out, wherever you are...

Rosalie got to the last step and looked inside the room, the signal only getting stronger which indicated that her target was hiding behind the couch. But that didn't matter as she already knew they were there. Rosalie could hear their breathing as well as their fumbling around with various weaponry. Looks like their gear had glitched out just like she had planned after all. Oh well...

She slowly circled around the couch from a distance, her weapon aimed and ready to be fired the instant her opponent made a move if they were to be so foolish as to do anything but immediately surrender.

Jagged breathing and light steps broke through the heavy silence as Olivia slowed to a jog before eventually stopping to catch her breath. She hunched forward with hands on her knees, but nonetheless remaining vigilant toward her surroundings. She was someone's target, as was the case for everyone else, yet it killed her that she didn't know who was going to make an attempt against her life...hopefully failing, but nonetheless making the attempt. The thought alone was dreadfully frightening, but contemplating the bizarre position they'd been put in was a huge mistake. Time was of essence, and she couldn't afford to waste any of it.

Off in the distance, Olivia noticed the structure that had caught her attention earlier. Now that she had a closer look, the building appeared to be a store, or maybe a factory. But she wouldn't play any guessing games. Once more, Olivia took off in that direction despite the terrible cramps on her side.
Denise gave her roommate an appreciative half-smile before grabbing the burger and taking a bite. It was good. Even better than she was expecting. The poor girl was so used to satisfying her late-night cravings with shitty junk food that she'd almost forgotten how simple it was to cook up something fulfilling. Not that it was healthy by any means, but it was better than she was used to.

"Hm, this is good," she replied with a nod of approval as she covered her mouth with the back of her hand. Swallowing her first bite, she entertained Faye's idea about taking on Max.

"Honestly, I don't want to drag you into this. I mean, you have nothing to do with it and bringing you into my mess would be extremely selfish of me. He's a dangerous guy, Faye. I mean, Max is extremely unpredictable, and he would kill you in an instant if it meant he could prove a point against me. Not that I have any idea on how we'd get to that point, but nonetheless it's in his nature, that's just the way he is."

Denise took another bite, contemplating her own words.

"I mean, I'm not dissuading you in any way, but I haven't seen him in quite some time. I don't know how powerful he could be," she shrugged, looking at her half-eaten burger.

Genevieve Marceaux - Strip Mall

Genevieve slowly brought her bike to a halt, parking it behind their car. She leaned all her weight on her left foot, watching as the others got out of the car. Guess it was showtime.

As the others started to gear up, Genevieve did the same. She removed her helmet before clipping it securely to the bike. She then grabbed her aviators and put them on, the small gadget softly highlighting Judah and the others. The last item on her list was one of her guns, a Walther CCP. Genevieve reached into one of the small compartments on the side of her bike and pulled out a clip-on holster with the gun already secured in it. Her heart started to beat just a little bit faster, but her nerves were partly due to the fact that her life would in some extent be in the hands of this new group she'd just met.

"Let's do this, shall we?" she said, walking towards them.
Alright, it's done.
@Dynamo Frokane

I'll have it done tomorrow!
@Dynamo Frokane

Yes. Sorry, should have worded that a tad better.
"Entity detected, 15 feet out and closing."

And suddenly, Rosalie wasn't so alone anymore. The small dot on the screen was moving towards her location, and she readied herself. Bringing up her weapon to line up the sights, she backed up slowly as she kept her gun trained on the approximate location of her target according to the information she was being fed.

But then Rosalie decided that she should go on the offensive. Backing up a bit more, she stuck her head out through a window and saw an opening to the floor above. Seeing it as a perfect opportunity, Rosalie took one of the disabling explosives and flung it through the window, not wasting any time as she sprinted for the stairs, her gun at the ready once she slowed down to cut the corner.
@mdk

I know what you mean. For whatever reason I don't see it as much. I have friends on both ends of the spectrum but I mean, maybe they like to keep it quiet?

Either way, I'll be away for a while. My hedgehog passed away just a couple of hours ago and I'll probably be here to play and keep my mind distracted, but no so much to discuss politics.
@mdk

I agree with you. My issue is that one side claims to be holier-than-though because they have religion. Like, all these pastors out there preaching, but then they get caught engaging in homosexual acts or pedophilia.

No one's perfect (duh), and everyone has their dark side, regardless of how little it is. But when a large group of people are all about "do as I say, not as I do", then they can go screw themselves. I hate hypocrisy, and goodness knows a crazy amount of people abuse it.
