Mandy couldn’t help but marvel at the prehistoric stones, protected by an impervious charm cast the second a droplet fell on her face, she was a lot less miserable than the others, and could only wonder why they didn’t learn such magic in order to make their lives easier. She felt that by being more comfortable she could concentrate on the task at hand. Whilst slightly scared at their first mission and what it might reveal, Mandy was confident in her own abilities and despite her personal issues with them she knew that she had been placed in a fairly competent lot. Dex made her feel fairly safe knowing he’d do anything to protect the rest, and having Izaiah step in first seemed like the only logical thing to do, he was the only one mad enough to want to do this. The whole team was beautifully talented, and she could only hope they would all come together at the right time.

As they edged closer and first saw the mysterious cult, she couldn’t help but think it looked like fun, except perhaps the potion making, she always was terrible at potions…
*Crack*
“Damn!” she whispered as her left heel had broken from getting caught in the mud, snapping her out of the dark train of thought. With a small flurry of her wand beneath her robe the bright red heels snapped back into place and dirt flew off the surface. “I really must work on my unbreakable charms” she thought to herself. Annoyed she had let this distract her she saw Izaiah move forward and her heart skipped a small beat with excitement.

Mandy sparked into action the moment Izaiah had opened his mouth, although the team had startled the opponents, she saw the dark wizards immediately defend themselves with magic she would only dream of attempting.

Mandy saw Izaiah head into the action and anyone be damned if they thought she’d leave him to fight it all out himself. “Always the glory hunter!” she muttered shortly before sprinting towards him.

Izaiah darted behind a column of moss covered stone as he advanced towards the centre of the clearing, keeping his footing despite the mudslide of their increasingly damp surroundings. The din of conflict was all about him, the other aurors had struck and seemed to have their individual battles well in hand. He was now going for the centre, to see what lurked between the increasingly dense spread of stone monoliths.

He was swiftly joined by the robed form of Mandy, 'of course' she didn't appear even remotely wet or sodden. For a lesser wizard, he'd probably see fit to chastise her for bothering with such magic in the situation, but he knew well enough she could still function at the peak of her ability. Shortly after her arrival the other side of their cover was struck by a pair of magical detonation, shuddering through the rudimentary structure. At least two hostiles then.

"Pincer then, strike fast." He nodded to her, before shifting around the stone. For all their conflicts, the two wizards were intuitive together in a way that would suggest years, not hours, of mutual experience. As Izaiah turned the corner, drawing the fire of the two dark wizards deeper into the clearing, Mandy apparated, becoming as much a ghost as anything short of being one, darting past him in the low light undetected.

"Expelliamus!" Izaiah's wand was up and ready before the twin bolts of magic struck him, rebounding instead off the defensive shield of his spell, just about holding under the onslaught. That was all it needed to do, for in the next moment, the twin dark magi found Mandy appearing in their midst, caught off guard, they were made short work of.

"Good work, we should make-" Izaiah jogged towards her, speaking as he went, before a scream cut him off, and his eyes were drawn further into the centre of the clearing, right to the heart of it, now in view of both the Aurors. Among the ritualistic markings drawn into the ground, knelt an adolescent girl, one of the robed figures of the dark wizards standing over her, a wand pressed to the side of her neck.

"One more step, and justice comes to this one."
Relations

Izaiah: Izaiah has always been there lurking in the shadows, too much for Mandy to really take notice of him. Throughout Hogwarts Mandy could never work out why he had so much disdain for her, she was charming and beautiful; what’s not to like?
She was always appreciative of him as he had been the one to introduce her to the wealth of Slytherin friends she had, the friendship group that would help her survive the disappointment that Hogwarts was. One fourth year Herbology class she had noticed this peculiar boy cracking jokes and messing around, once they were paired up to learn the orchideous charm they spent the lesson conjuring bouquets of roses whilst trying to poke each other with the thorns. Their next Herbology class together had been equally as fun, being taught the properties and uses of bubotuber pus, which Mandy’s ancestor Sachrissa Tugwood had discovered, left her bored as she already had in depth knowledge of it’s uses in beauty potions, the one member of the class not impressed that she was related to a famous witch was Izaiah. Their only contact was during these lessons and the two became quite a pair of mischief's, only further decreasing her Ravenclaw peers opinion of her as every lesson the pair shared would mean multiple house points slipping away. It was after that years Herbology exam, Izaiah had waited outside the hall eagerly for her, wishing to laugh at their joint failure. He led her through the grounds in the summer sun to a group of Slytherins relaxing on the grass. That would be the last day Mandy and Izaiah had a direct conversation until Auror training. The remainder of Hogwarts she saw less and less of Izaiah’s wit, only seeing him as the boy that tagged along with the Slytherin quidditch players. She could never understand why he had such a problem with her dating Zach, jealously she presumed. Izaiah was most likely jealous that Zach wanted to spend his time with her rather than go over quidditch tactics. Zach was already naturally talented enough, he didn’t need to pour over diagrams like the rest of the team did.

Whilst previously she had just thought he was a little odd, her dislike really came from the first few months in Auror training, he was the one who told her Zach was cheating on her during his Quidditch tour. He never showed much inclination he was sad about the fact his best friend had hurt her so much, she theorised that Iz had never thought she was good enough for Zach, which is something she despised, people looking down on her. Mandy was determined to show him with all her might that she was going to be the best damn Auror he’d ever seen. Although she disliked him Iz was the only person she was really familiar with during the first year, so they ended up begrudgingly spending time together especially through the most gruelling of months when they both were too exhausted to make new friends and more importantly, too tired to bicker.

Dexter: Originally, Mandy only tolerated Dexter, she wanted to see Izaiah fail as much as he did. She saw him as a good ally to have, both talented at charms in their own way she knew they would make a complementary duo, the only reason for her assisting him with his studies. He often tried to bring her back down to earth, which is something she did not appreciate, his morality annoyed her, she wondered how he would ever be cut throat enough for this line of work. Whenever someone had a bad word to say about her Dexter would always cut in, defending her. She didn’t need his protection, didn’t he know she’d spent 7 long years at hogwarts hexing anyone for giving her so much as a dirty look?

Demetria: Well, innately Mandy isn’t as impressed with her professional quidditch status as everyone else seems to be. She’ll give it to her, Dem is gorgeous in her natural form, but Mandy really fails to see how wearing unflattering converse is attractive to anybody, her only redeeming fashion sense is her leather cloak, but honestly it wouldn’t kill her change it up once in a while. Due to both of their quick tempered nature, they’ve clashed on more than one occasion, something Mandy quickly calculated had to stop if her friendship with Dex was to continue. She can see why they are together but wish they would cool off sometimes, in her opinion romance will not get you anywhere, it’s more important to focus on the task at hand.

Keira: Keira reminded Mandy all too much of the Ravenclaw girls she so desperately distanced herself from. From Mandy’s first day at Hogwarts she remembers the energetic second year with a grating Australian accent always trying to be the best. Keira is everything Mandy probably should be, yet Mandy found that so utterly boring. Standing outside the common room Keira often approached the young Mandy ready to help her answer the riddle ‘This is a fun one!’ she would sing, Mandy burnt all bridges there by striding away muttering under her breath.

Celio: Impressed by their similar tastes for the finer things in life, Mandy respects Celio for being as outspoken and confident as she is. They get along famously, bouncing off of each others eccentricity and talent. Although still not exceptional at the art of occlumency, she is extremely grateful for his help in her training. She trusts him not to be too invasive, partly because he knows she’ll beat him in a duel, despite his advantages. Celio has been the closest at beating Mandy during tournaments, but he’s never quite been able to seal the deal, which Mandy takes great delight in reminding him, though not too often as she knows not to damage his ego too far. Despite this mutual respect Mandy is always painfully aware of his talents and her own weaknesses, she has a lot of history she would rather him stay out of. Mandy felt that due to their mutual good looks and ambitious attitude, they would make the perfect couple, and perhaps Celio would be interested if she pursued it, though whether she could overcome the uneasy feeling his legilimency gave her was to be seen.

Lucrica: Intriguing to Mandy, she doesn’t remember her from Hogwarts at all, as hard as she has tried. Their first interaction getting lunch, Mandy had become so irritated at Dex and Iz she decided to befriend the shy girl, hoping to gain another lackey. Surprisingly to Mandy, she wasn’t at all swung by charm or intimidation, at first irritated by this they sat in silence, as the half hour went by Mandy felt for the first time in years quite comfortable in someone else's company. Barely speaking a word to each other, Mandy often sought out the Hufflepuffs companionship when she felt she needed peace. Lucrica won’t realise that she was a huge help to Mandy being able to carry on with training at all, Mandy would never offer up that information even if it meant being cold and distant. Mandy has a sense of loyalty to the girl that not even Lucrica knows of herself, but Mandy would happily give out a hex or two to anyone that bothers her.
@SouffleGirl123@Prints Avoid Love them both!

@AyameLooks good! I've done the maths however and we are planning on starting in sept 2016, which means Kiera MUST be 22 or older depending on her birthday :)
