Veleno shrugged. "They say a lot of things, and not just in here, but not everything they say is true. So I don't think I have much chances for a job as an illustrator." She answered. Not very surprising, she wasn't an optimistic person at all, far from it.

She looked at the girl who joined them and greeted her with a short "hey", sounding not friendly but not mean neither, before turning her attention back the guy again. "Nothing in particular. I try to draw various things, to learn how to draw not just one, but multiple things well." She said.

Jerry stood casually as Jessica spoke to him, he was very impressed by her wording, Jerry was never one for words. Suddenly she leaned towards his ear and whispered to him, he was caught off guard by this but listened anyway "We should create an army from the most powerful and destroy what stops our powers. Truly we were created for more than this.". Jerry smiled as she leaned back he began to nod his head, Jerry liked the sound of this, Jerry wasn't a thinker and would most likely go with whatever idea was presented to him the most eloquently. "yeah...." he continued to nod, he placed two fingers on his chin "...yeah, we should."

He listened to her as she explained what she could do with her powers. "I along with what ever I held could become a living stream of smoke, no prison could contain me, no human catch me. It unlike yours is a curse", this sounded very interesting, no human could catch? This girl could make a powerful ally. "I've done terrible things", Jerry wasn't a particularly emotional man, but he understood empathy. He took a hand from his pocket and placed it on her shoulder, "Hey man, we gotta let the past be the past." He tried to console as best he could with his limited vocabulary, "right now we gotta worry about getting out of this dive"

Fucking cockblock. Mikael thought. "Should've just 'gathered them around', man. I introduced myself fine without your help. And I'm not even talking to her because I want sex. I don't know why that's your initial thought, though, but whatever. I wanna be her friend. The orderlies can go ham on me, I don't really care. I can take them." he said to Hiro, a bit pissed, but not showing it much. Hiro was his new friend, but he saw what he did as a really douchey move.

"Anyway." he said, ignoring Hiro now. "Melissa, right? Sorry about that. Wanna be friends? Can I call you Mel? No, no, Lisa sounds better. How long have you been here? Will you draw me next?" he said.

Sheila looked at the notebook and pen she was holding and sighed. Ever since she had gotten into this place, writing was her only way to interact with other people. Not being able to talk was terrible to her, she hated the silence. She wanted to be able to talk, use her voice again more than anything in the world. But something in this place was keeping her silenced, and she didn't like it at all.

Looking up from the notebook, Sheila looked at the people that were in the leisure room as well, figuring she'd might as well get to know someone. Some people seemed genuinely crazy, others not so much, and while several people were already talking to someone, she noticed one guy in particular being all alone. Deciding to go to him, she thought it might be fun to get know him a little. Sure, he was wearing a bite mask, but as long as he had it on he couldn't do anything, right? Coming to a halt at the table he sat at, she opened get notebook and wrote something down, before showing him what she wrote. 'Can I sit with you?' It said.

"Your right." She spoke to the air in front of her as she hunted around for a sign or glimore of hope for any escape to work. "But how, that's the question." She gave her new friend a little smile and attempted to feel optimistic about the whole situation. She grasped Jerry's hand tightly and pulled him towards the centre of the room, closer to the other inmates, she hoped he would follow. "We need to find out if anyone here is truly a threat to us. Or if we are all common allies." She spoke again to air but hoped for Jerry to pick up that it was directed towards him.

Jessica reached the middle of the room and looked around at all the misfits and vagabonds, she thought aboutthem and attempted to do exactly what she was taught against, she would judge them all by appearance and rate them from that. Harsh perhaps mostly for that one with the anti biting garment covering his face but it was her initial preparation.

"Has anyone here seen what lies beyond the walls of this building?" She yelled hoping someone was conscious when dragged inside. If they were on an island hope of escape was pretty low, but cities close by... now that was doable. She didn't know if anyone would care to answer some looked like veterans and wouldn't talk kindlyto a freshling girl.

"Well why would they say it if it wasn't true?" Alex's brow furrowed with the question. That was just weird. "Wait," he leaned forward onto the table a little like that would help him see Veleno better. "Does that mean people say things that aren't the truth a lot? How often does that happen?" His brows furrowed more before he pushed the next question to the back of his head; Doctor Orbrock said one mustn't accuse others of things, after all.

He settled back a bit, face relaxing to a more neutral stare. "It's pretty cool you can draw all that though." He sat up a bit straighter, even though his arm had hooked over his sister's shoulders again. "Ooo, could you draw me? Do you do pictures of people not from your head? See, there was this guy at the other place, and he had a lot of people in his head, but he could only manage to draw them. Or, well, I think he said he was a she when he could draw - but that was weird." He shrugged.

Jennifer simply sat there, hugging one knee to her chest. She had nothing to add, really any opening of her mouth would detract from the conversation. Best she had to offer was just quietly listening, and watching the room to keep from anyone creeping up on them. She didn't jump, but she did shift so she didn't hurt herself when her head whipped around to let her see who was yelling. The girl had to be new or off her meds if she was yelling like that.

"Like hell you can take them alone," Hiro hissed bordering on hysterics, "This place is fucked." The volume was enough to earn the attention of a nearby orderly who looked over the three of them. Hiro straightened up and tried to look as nonchalant as possible. This guy just wasn't getting it. He couldn't just walk away now. It would look way too suspicious as would "gathering them around". He wasn't trying to get himself stronger sedatives or locked up in solitary either.

"Hey. Hey." He grabbed Mikael's arm and gave it a good hard shake to get his attention. He dropped down again and spoke as calmly as his current temper would allow. "If you can introduce yourself so damn fine, why don't you yourself to everybody instead of hanging around this chick? Hell, if you're such a socialite, why don't you just 'gather everyone around' your own damn self?" He was losing track of his volume again. He was loud enough that Mel surely would have heard him. "All's I'm saying is that you don't have to lie about your intentions, man, and don't try and drag me down with you. You need some room? Just say so. Just don't say I didn't warn you. I'm nobody's accomplice." After living in a gang-infested neighborhood for so long, he learned how to keep himself safe and he tried to be careful about what friends he made.

"And hey. Hey." He grabbed Mikael's arm again, but gave him a hard squeeze. "Snitches get stitches. You got that, buddy?"

Sloane found it a bit unnerving that John seemed to take note of what she had said, but she brushed it off. Nodding at him, she frowned a bit. "Yeah, my parents uh... they put me here. "What kind of ability was it?" This threw her off a little, was she willing to tell a complete stranger about her powers? He would just think she was as crazy as her parents thought. But his next statement made her swallow hard. Killed? Hm, well that was something she wasn't expecting. "Oh... how did it happen?" she was curious now, and was hoping for a little sliver of explanation. Maybe he was here for a similar reason that she was...? Well, besides the part where she hadn't killed much more that a few rabbits. "Oh, right, my ability. Well, call this cliche' if you wish; I can shapeshift into a wolf." Both of Sloane's eyebrows raised and she smiled a bit to ease the sound of her words, but it didn't really do any good. "So, yeah. That's why they called animal control and somehow I ended up here. But I can't do it here, I can't shift."

John still had his notebook in his hands, as he wrote down every single bit of worthy information about her. As she started to tell how she got her, he just looked at her for a moment, he didn't even wrote this part down. But once she told about her powers, he smiled, he looked at his notebook again and wrote this piece of information within his notebook.
As he glanced back at her, he just smiled, as her question was something he was used to.
"I just killed them, took their lives for they were worthless to this world" John smiled as he rememberd most of his kills, they were always killed by their own hands... For John always used his power against his enemies, making them kill each other and then do suicide, so that it would never seem that John truelly had killed them.
As she told about that she can't shapeshift in this place, John looked around, the other 'normal' guys and girls inside of here would probably have the same problem...
John glanced back at Sloane and his face was emotionless, for he didn't much cared about any other information about her. He already gained the information he needed and would use it for later on. He placed his notebook back on it's spot and leaned against the wall.
"Who else do you think is normal? Like us? Who else is placed here against his will? And actually could just function in the normal world?"
John asked this question to see if she would point out the same persons that he was glancing at, there were multiple others who were normal in John's eyes and yet... Something seemed odd about them at the same time... But this place... This asylum was the most strangest place ever, making them unable to use their powers...

Pia sat on her bed with her legs drawn up her chest to act like a table for her sketchpad. She was so pleased to find out that they would let them draw in the asylum. She didn't draw a lot before she was committed, but it helped calm her down and keep her from expiring from sheet boredom during her stay. But eventually, everything got a little boring and now she was starting to wish for some company.

She rolled out of bed and arched her back until it popped. There had to be a way to get more pillows or something. She never realized how uncomfortable it could get sitting like that until it was too late. She grabbed her pad and pencil and wandered out to the leisure room. A small smile drifted onto her face at the sight of people chatting and drawing.

Then, someone shouted something about the outside. She didn't know what to make of the outburst, so she pretended like she didn't hear it and hurried over somewhere to sit. She ended up in an armchair beside a girl sitting the way she sat on her bed just moments ago, only with no sketchpad. She noticed her- uh, her brother was talking to someone beside her, but she couldn't tell how involved the girl was in the conversation, so she kept her greeting brief. "Hi," She said softly and settled down cross-legged in the chair. Just being around other people instantly made her feel a little better. Maybe it was the walk over that got her blood circulating, too. She opened up her book on her lap to a fresh page.

Pathfinder A walking disaster

Virgil was about to start some trouble with the orderlies when a girl walked up and wrote something in a notebook she had, "Can I sit with you?" it read. With nothing better to do and a little bored himself, Virgil didn't see any harm to it. With his usual relaxed tone, Virgil said "I don't see why not little darlin." as he reclined back into his chair.

With the little introduction over with, Virgil sent forth his own question. A little more serious, Virgil said "Now whats a little lady like you doin in a place like this? From the looks of it there are crazy people here." Even though it wasn't all that funny Virgil laughed, more out of habit than anything. While waiting for an answer Virgil looked back at his drawing from earlier, lamenting the fact that he didn't have colored tools... It was missing that blood color. With a little sigh, Virgil settled himself deeply back into his chair and kept notice that the orderlies became a little more on edge when the girl came walking over.

Veleno looked at the guy in front of her, who seemed to be genuinely surprised by the fact that people lied, and she raised and eyebrow. How could he not know that people lied? It was something everyone knew, or so she thought. "Yes, people say things that aren't true all the time. It's called lying." She told the guy. "People lie because sometimes, a lie is nicer to hear than the truth."

Soon he started about her drawing again, and asked if she could draw him. It seemed like they would have a normal conversation for a moment, but then he started about voices in someone's head, and she sighed. Why was she expecting to have a normal conversation anyway? She was in an asylum. "I have no people in my head, but I can draw you. You'll have to sit still while I'm drawing you, though." She said.

Sheila smiled friendly when the guy had no problem with her sitting next to him, and she sat down like she planned to. She wondered quietly why he had a bite mask, since he didn't seem all that dangerous to her, but decided not to ask for it. Maybe she would ask him later, but not right away.

When he asked her why she was in the asylum, her smile faded from her face and she got the same expression as always since she had been in the asylum. "I told my parents a secret, and they called this place to pick me up because of it." She wrote. She considered to tell him about it, but decided not to. A mute girl claiming that she could draw people towards her by using her voice, but who lost her voice when she got in an asylum. Who would believe that? "You'd think I'm crazy if I told you, though." She wrote, before showing it to him.

Jessica slumped down on the table, her yell maybe just a scream for attention left to fade through the walls. She glanced around at her new cellmates who seemed more interested in general chit chat and making pleasantries with the other inmates than trying assemble the pieces of where they were. Being a great advocate of judging a book by its cover, never more obvious than when Jessica was recommended Game of Thrones as a worthy read and once she found a copy she didn't get it merely due to the expectations of seeing a dragon graze the cover, she already assumed though each person here could be powerful that without powers they had no marketable talents that were worthy of her time. However she did want to make sure she asked the ones drawing to paint her a pretty picture to stick up in her cell... real personal like.

Her nose once again had started to bleed due to her slumping hard on her buttocks, she cupped it with her elbow and let the blood drain into her sleeve, she saw no need of retaining a hygienic appearance in this dank place, especially as zero of the boys were her type. She kept her nose hidden and while walking to a corner she pulled a chair with her free hand with an off putting grinding nose off the hard floor, she set the chair with its back to the doorway thay lead into the room and sat in front of it, some staff gave her a glance but seemed preoccupied with their own thoughts.

"What ever." She whispered to herself and crossed her legs.
