The chainsaw dude has more to him than meets the eye I think. He's clearly got it out for the Schnee line, indicating that something more horrid was done to him and his family by the Schnees than most other Faunus involved in their laborforce. This guy has a vendetta; he's not just some braindead thug.

Or, as a member of the White Fang, he looked forward to killing the heiress of the company that's oppressed his people for years. Most White Fang aren't above murdering humans or otherwise.
