Battlegrounds are really important to have everyone on the same page, such as if I think there could be a huge rock to hide behind. If it's not mentioned more specifically what the environment is like then it could cause confusion.

I guess. But that is a generational difference. Older school fighters like myself figure we are in a forest, everything is in play. No confusion just adapt and overcome.

I think usually if it can be in a forest, then I am well within my literary rights to write it in. Preferably not always popping up with stuff that happens to be there to save my ass.

Like in my linked fight with Aeryn. That was a challenging map with its own tricks(mainly height, intensified sunlight), that we played with. Varying thickness with the glass, and how fragile they were, without getting carried away.

I probably could have won if not for.... him.

Well he did pummel you. Stomped a mud hole in you. Even curb stomped you ftom what I remember. But of course in my old age I might have misremembered that fight.

No. that was basically it.

Hahaha.

But for serious, I totally tried to hit Aeryn with a Saito Suplex.

That fight consisted mostly of me attempting to get the upper ground against an airborne opponent, and Kamikazing him to death.

If I move I'll have one. Just waiting on my kid to debut, and word from my folks. I have terrible roommates. Staying here much longer will have detrimental effects on their life. My girlfriend is a psycho I think. xD.

I couldn't even bring a knife to that fight. Khayyam stole that too.I brought a mostly naked man armed with the ability to turn into a fucking Liger.

Thinking back on things, my gun user Allison or whatever did indeed have the best success. I actually think she defeated sir acid breath monster by using her foam grenades to hide in. Or...something? I don't think I'm mistaken.

Speaking of forests, I indeed have a forest battleground in mind as well. Some of the plants are giant man eating plants so if you get knocked near one then you're in trouble.

The important thing about BGs is that they all shouldn't be special snowflakes. While some would be good challenge maps, most of the used ones will be relatively simple. Swamps, forests, beach fronts, and the like. Just a backdrop, and often times not an obstacle.
