Derric stayed on the floor, essentially unwilling to move at this point. He had come to the conclusion that his concussion was worse than he thought, and the bright flashing light was simply a by-product of his attempting to work out so soon after receiving a head injury. He stayed there for several minutes as he contemplated whether it was worth the effort or not to pick himself off of the floor before he felt a presence at the door. The presence had the same feel as the one he had felt on the bed earlier... Or even before that, the one he had felt before the fighting tournament.

Deciding to figure things out once and for all, he stood up and carefully made his way towards where he felt this strange phenomenon, which in this case was the door. "I know you're there!" He called hesitantly, unsure if he would receive an answer or not.

Nau and Sky were over scanning the areas outside the wall when Tri burst in through the door, shaking like no one's business. His face was pale and he could barely talk. Tri would've fallen if Sky hadn't caught him at the last minute. "What's wrong, Tri?" Sky asked. Tri shook his head, gasping for air, but as Sky turned Tri's neck, he noticed the burnt black mark across Tri's neck and he almost threw Tri away from him in fear. Tri looked up as his friend.

"It's back," Tri murmured before passing out. Nau stared at Tri before looking back up at Sky. Sky didn't even look at his boss. He lifted one hand and pressed it to his ear, speaking urgently into the microphone. "We need an paramedic in the scanner wing now!" Sky gently laid Tri on the ground, staring down at his friend.

"How is it back?!" Sky snarled out of frustration, anger, and a little bit of fear. "I thought Cru killed it!"

"Obviously not," Nau snapped. "Now stop dealing with that. We need to get as many people out passed the wall as we can and find that damn Anomalous!"

Sky glanced over at the security cameras and saw some of the Recruits running by or talking with each other. He jerked his chin toward the screens. "What about them?"

Nau narrowed his eyes at Sky, running a hand through his black hair as he sucked in a breath. "What about them?"

"They're one of the best classes we've had here. We need as many people as possible, so why not them?"

"We can't risk sending them out there, into danger!"

"But we need the numbers! Look, we'll split up the groups. I'll take six, Kym can take six, and you can take six. The more people we have out there, the easier it will be to find this thing and keep it from killing more of us!" Not waiting for a response, Sky walked over to the intercom. "Attention, all Guards. The Death Anomalous has once again plagued our forest. We need to get everyone out there now. I want all Elite Guard members on the motorcycles and any other guard in the Jeeps." He paused, waiting for the signal that most of the Guards had left the building. It took all of five minutes. He then pressed the button for the intercom again and said, "Alright, listen up Recruits. This may be your first night, but you will be doing what no other Recruit has on their first night: you're going out into the field. Now, listen for your names because you will be paired with either Kym, Nau, or myself. You will be going in groups of six. I want all of you up on the roof in ten minutes, dressed in your Guard outfits. Stop by the weapons room on the way and choose pick out a pistol and then your weapon of choice. Got it?"

Sky took a deep breath and said, "Alright, Lincoln, Citrine, Logan, Sarah, Chess, and Seril, you are going with Kym. Finn, Derric, Estella, Alda, Paige, and Zeph, you guys are going with Nau. Colt, Dyana, Nya, Tarvas, Lillith, and Mason, you all are with me. I want you all up on the roof in the next ten minutes. You aren't there, we leave you behind and you are going home. Now move it!" Sky dropped his finger off the intercom and looked at Nau. Both of them were already in their Guard uniforms, readying to head out, because they actually had a tour tonight.

"What if... what if we see him out there?" Nau asked, slightly worried.

Sky grabbed a pistol, filling up a cartridge with bullets and loaded the pistol. He cocked it and looked at Nau. "Then we do what we were supposed to do five years ago... We put a bullet through his skull."

Tarvas was surprised by a message coming on the intercom this late; but he was even more surprised when he heard he was going into active duty. Well, there goes training.

Since his room was just around the corner, it only took a minute for him to get on his guard uniform. Around him was the sounds of people running through the halls and a bit of chaos. Nobody is prepared for this.

He quickly went to the weapons room, which he had passed several times in his wanderings, and almost charged in, noticing few people if anyone had even gotten as far as him yet. This was good, he had some choices. He wasn't sure why he was making haste. Perhaps it was because things before now were rather boring... and this would be an opportunity to prove himself.

He snatched a pistol and spent a few seconds looking at the table. he made a quick decision and grabbed a rifle; he wasn't one to be fancy. He hesitated and put on a few gadgets including small flashbangs into pockets of his uniform.

He made his way up to the roof, still moving fast, and came out on top, panting a little bit, realizing he was one of the first people there. He made it... he made it.

Nya slipped into Seril’s room. She tried not to act surprised or frustrated that he was acting so odd. Maybe I could just… she quickly stopped that train of thought, That’s ridiculous. I can’t try reading him. I’m normal and normal people don’t read spirit. In reality, Nya could read auras. She called it a person’s spirit because that’s what it was. It was the hopes and dreams, the intentions, emotions and the very life force inside their body. She knew who was a fighter and who was someone you could walk on. She could even manipulate each aspect of a person’s spirit when she needed to. It had worked on Codeeva like a charm.

When he came back from his training, Codeeva was a different person. He was angry, cold and hid everything from the family. Their mother spent hours crying over her lost son. Nya couldn’t take the pain she could feel from her mother and the nauseating pit she felt from Codeeva. One night she snuck into his room and changed him. She never really knew how she had done it. It was almost like praying for her. She prayed and begged for Codeeva to be better. She wanted the brother back that she had always looked up. The next morning, it was like he had never gone to Guard Training. He was boisterous, adventurous and still had the same grin that always made Nya smile. At first she didn’t make the connection, then she did the same for her mother. After that, it was like there wasn’t anything about a person she couldn’t fix. Of course she couldn’t control them or alter their personality, but the ebb and flow of their emotions and their desires lay right in Nya’s hands. It was really why Nya had such a hard time being around people like Colt and Dyana. Their feelings for each other covered her like a fog. She couldn’t breathe around them. It was also why she had taken such a liking to Seril. He was so light. There was something about his person that let Nya breathe easily.

She went against her better judgment and decided to read him, knowing she needed...and wanted...to know more about him. She focused on Seril, attempting to glean what should could off of his spirit. Immediately she was hit with heat and vibrant colors. It knocked the air right out of her. She coughed over and over. She leaned on the wall, gasping for breath. “What the hell…..is………wrong……with you?!” she said with the little breath she had.

Composing herself Sarah put her uniform back on before looking into a mirror and giving herself a nod as if to say to herself that she could do this. Throwing her hood up she made her way to the weapons room and before opening the door she took another deep breath, she knew that she was far from ready for this but anyone who was on the roof, was in the same position.

Making her way in she immediately went for a pair of machine pistols, attaching a pair of holsters to her shorts and grabbing several clips of ammunition. She then took a second to consider the fact that there was a good chance she wouldn't come back. If what ever they were going after didn't kill her there was a good chance she would have to use her abilities which would mean immediate exile. However if it meant saving lives she
would gladly got through both.

She then made her way to roof and noticed that she was one of the first to arrive, turning to one of the other students who had already arrived as said "You ready?"@ArenaSnow

Logan had been inside the mostly empty weight room. He had been the only one working out and he liked it. He liked being alone for the most part. He liked being all alone with just himself and doing whatever he could do. He could just be himself. No insane women threatening his life over what amounted to nothing.

When he heard the announcement he basically sprinted to his room and changed into his uniform. He was excited that they didn't have to do anymore damn training involving whatever they had thought up. He was better in the field anyway. He ran into the weapons room and grabbed his sniper rifle and he already had his knife. So that was good for him.

He arrived as one of the first to get there so he just stayed quiet.

Estella was about to fall asleep when she heard the announcement and that woke her up immediately. She jumped out of bed and put on her uniform as fast as she could. Her eye was feeling a lot better after using the cold pack Mason gave her. Still, she was afraid. What if she made the wrong choice coming here? She knew this was going to happen eventually but today was their first day for goodness sake! Maybe she should just go home. It was better than going out there unprepared and dying. But at the same time, she didn't want to leave. There was Lilith whom she had befriended and Mason... She couldn't leave without at least saying bye to him. Plus, if she leaves, she'll definitely never see him again.

While she was thinking everything through, she was jogging towards the roof and before she could even change her mind she was already there. There was the girl who had to go to the infirmary today, a girl who she did not get to know yet, the guy who got Zeph in trouble for not showing up to class on time, and the guy who had ruined her jacket and carried her stuff to her dorm. She didn't really feel like talking to any of them and waited for the rest of newcomers to join them in silence. She took a deep breath to calm herself down then realized she didn't have a weapon which sucked because for once she was early. She checked the time and saw that she had about 7 more minutes so if she ran really quick to the weapon room she might have a chance. She rushed over to pick up a handgun, something she was more comfortable using, and a knife. She sprinted as hard as she could back to the roof, almost out of breath, but at least she made it.

@Imaginary Seril looked at the girl in front of him jaw slack and face white as a ghost's. Just then the announcement came in over the PA and Seril looked to Nya's door, than back at her with an expectant look as if to say "Get your ass in there so we can go". He looked at her one last time and shook his head, trying to clear those thoughts. How did she know there was something wrong with him? he thought to himself as he through off his shirt and slipped on the tight guard shirt. His eyes flashed up as something dawned on him and she ran to get dressed herself. He grabbed the pair of guard pants he had picked up the day before from the store rooms. They were a bit outdated but they still were designed in a way as to not hinder the Guard's movement in any situation, being a little baggier on top and form fitting on bottom. He ran over to her door and leaned against the wall near the frame waiting for her to get done, he grabbed a black bandana and put it in his pocket.

As she turned the corner she almost ran into him. He was standing there looking down on her with a curious gaze. "What the hell is wrong with you?" He said an eyebrow raising. He was hoping her last reply was because his copy had been a prick not because she somehow knew he was an Anomalous. But how could that be? How could she know he wasn't normal by looking at him so intently? Unless....

Chess ran out of his room throwing on the pants Seril had told him about in class and heading for the Armory. He slammed to halt in line and waited his turn. It felt like an eternity before he got to the front and when he did his eyes almost filled up. The selection here was so vast he couldn't even think of what to say. He saw a revolver with a literally razor sharp sight and two barrels and pointed it out "Two of those" He said as the man turned around and began grabbing him one from the room. Chess tried not to notice the chuckle as he walked away. He then saw something that really caught his eye, just barely in view behind a rack of shotguns on the wall sat a beautiful black sword and Chess knew he had to have it. The man gave him the holster for his chest that would hold the two revolvers under his arms and the sword on his back. He ran up to the roof to meet the others after grabbing a kevlar assault mask he saw on the top shelf of a gear room. He put the mask with the skull painted on it on and was at the entrance to the roof. He took a deep breath.

Damn! How did he hear me? I guess that stupid limp is noisier than I thought it was. Alda stepped away from the door with a very visible grimace. Stupid leg. Stupid prank that had been more amusing than she'd ever want to admit to herself. She forced herself not to groan.

That was when the intercom suddenly announced that they were going to hunt down an Anomalous. Alda's heart clenched in fear. They'd only had a day of training, and if anything got too stressful out there, someone was bound to notice all the fainting and assume that either Alda had a gift or, more likely, that she had some kind of blood sugar problem--both possibilities were bad. She closed her eyes for a moment to steady herself and ran to the weapons room with her thick hair billowing out behind her, hoping Derric didn't see her fleeing.

She put her hair up and picked up a handgun, feeling its weight in her hand before stewing it carefully in her uniform. That would be a last resort; Alda had never been talented with guns. What she was talented with, though... She picked up a heavy axe and gazed at the handle, then the 'business end.' She hadn't used an axe to cut lumber since her accident, and she hadn't used one to cause bodily harm to a person at all. She swallowed a lump in her throat, slung the weapon on her back, and ran again, ignoring the growing ache in her leg, up a flight of stairs to the roof.

She pushed open the door and stepped into the cool outside air. Her gaze wandered to her roommate, who, sure, she was easily annoyed at because of the Principle traits, but Alda felt herself worrying for her. Estella wasn't ready for this. Alda wasn't ready for this. She made her way toward the girl and put on a mask of confidence. "Ready to kick some ass?" she asked, glancing over her shoulder in a show of nervousness over whether Derric had seen her creeping around at his door.

Mason was still wearing his uniform from the day when Sky's voice came over the intercom. He assumed that this was some over-zealous training exercise for the recruits. What choice did he have but to play along? He left the room after tucking the legs of his black cargo-pants into his boots. He plowed through the other recruits in the hallway, and glimpsed one of the instructors with a grim look on their face. A gut feeling hit Mason: that look wasn't fake... There was no denying the pain in a look like that. These guys weren't playing around.

The reality of the situation swept over him as he hurried towards the armory. He caught a glimpse of Estella in the hallway as exited the weapons room. When he was in the room, he pushed past someone towards a rack of large guns. He took the biggest one on the shelf and lifted it away. He set it on the table, quickly looked at it, and examined the weapon. He pressed buttons until he found the release for the ammo barrel, the shoved it back in. He quickly made sure he could use the weapon, grabbed it by the handles, and lifted it from he table. He had no problems clearing his own path through the recruits as he made his way to the roof.

He found Sky on the room and joined him. He looked down at him, giving him a once over. He looked stressed. He inhaled and then spoke. "What exactly are we up against?" As he spoke, his eyes wandered over towards Estella. God... He set his jaw. This was insane. Estella was a girl from Principle - she was used to luxury. He wandered his gaze through the other recruits. Mason wasn't personally afraid of anything, but in that moment he was afraid - he feared that his fellow recruits weren't ready to handle an Anomalous. He knew he had an advantage over them - he could lifted a bus. These were just teenagers as far as he knew... as far as I know... The thought recurred to him and her repeated the phrase to himself.

Maybe... just maybe, some of these recruits were also anomalous. He shook his head. That didn't matter. It was his job to help the rest of the recruits. It was his job to use his abilities to help others. He set his jaw and waited for further orders.

Sky glanced down at Mason and looked over at Nau. Kym, who had just been recently released from the infirmary shook her head at him and Sky looked back down at the boy. "You know those bedtime stories that your parents used to tell you when you were a little kid?" Sky asked, getting even with the guy. "About those things called a Death Anomalous that can kill you with one touch to bare skin? Yeah, those things are real. I've faced one once before in my life. It near killed me. It really blinded Tri and has put him in the hospital again." Sky shook his head. "You kids aren't ready for this but you're the best we've ever had, though a little rough around the edges."

Sky glanced down at his watch. Five minutes left...

Colt froze when he heard the announcement and immediately changed into his gear. He hurried down the hallway, heading toward the weapons room when he remember something. He sprinted back to his room and rushed over to his baggage. He yanked open the zippers and pulled out some slim swords. He smiled at them and strapped them across his back. Moving with rhythm, he drew them from his back and began swinging, doing moves as he was taught back in Luminosity. He took a deep breath before shoving them back in his sheathes. As he ran back by, he heard a clank and the sound of glass shattering. He paused for a moment and looked back toward the desk next to his bed.

The small picture frame was tipped over, shattered glass on its sides. He walked over to it carefully and drew up the picture, looking at it. The smiling girl looked up at him and he winced underneath her gaze. He stared down into the picture frame, his reflection on her face looking back up at him. Suddenly, his face gently morphed into her beautiful one. He smiled down at the reflection, looking back on fond memories, when she smiled as well. He narrow his eyes, his smile turning into a deep frown and she did the same. He jumped back away from the reflection. What the hell...?

He walked over to the glass and picked it back up again, staring down at it. This time he only saw his face. His and his alone. Putting the confusing incident to the back of his mind, he stared back down at the picture before glancing over toward Dyana's room. Crumpling it up, he threw the picture in the trash next to his bed. It was time to move on. Leave the past in the past.

He hurried down the hallway, swinging by the weapons room as he did so. He grabbed a Starshot 47, holstering it on his hip before hurrying up to the roof. He saw Sky talking to another Recruit, but he didn't see Dyana quite yet. He took a deep breath again, gathering his courage to ask the one thing that he hadn't asked a girl in almost three years.

@AgentFallenSoul

Citrine was lying in her bed when the announcement came through after a hard day of exercising. She sat up quickly when she realized that the Recruits were begin called into action. She stood up and immediately switched into her uniform, shoving her feet into her boots. She grabbed her father's old 76th Grande Pistol from its holster in her bag and wrapped the holster around his waist, shoving the pistol back in its place. Knowing that she wouldn't need much more, she sprinted up to the roof. She moved over to Kym's group and waited.

Estella had caught her breath and stood up with as much grace and poise as she could muster up. She barely noticed her roommate approaching her until she heard her ask,"Ready to kick some ass?"

Estella, a bit caught off guard, somehow managed to answer her. "Y-yes. I am very much ready to.... Do that..." she said, uncomfortable with saying the "A-word". She gave her a weak smile to demonstrate just how "ready" she was, but she was still shivering from fear. Mason was talking to Sky, but she could've sworn that he was looking at her. Part of her was upset that he wasn't in the same group as her, but if anything were to happen to either of them, perhaps it was for the better. It might muddle their judgements.

She heard Sky say "Death anomalous" and that was enough to make her regret coming here. "I should have went home... I don't want to die...oh my god, I'm going to die tonight," she thought to herself. Her eyes were watering a bit and she forgot about or really didn't care if Alda could see her. She wiped her face with her sleeves and tried to calm herself down. But it was like trying to relax during the end of the world.

Nya stood so close to Seril that she could feel his breath on her face. It smelled like a mix of cinnamon and cigarettes. It was actually quite soothing to her, like it was connected to a comforting memory she had never had. She could feel his emotions wave over her. He was agitated, anxious and slightly confused. What she didn’t feel, however, was fear. The entire group was headed out to face an anomalous with little to no training - something they knew nothing about and had no way to prepare for - and the Till boy was excited. This caught her off guard even more than his accusation did. She didn’t look him in the face when she answered. “What? Nothing. There’s nothing wrong with me.” She pushed past him. “But there will be if we don’t get to the roof in time.” She knew he was questioning her sudden outburst but this was neither the time nor the place to have that conversation. She did, however, want to have that conversation eventually. She turned back to him. “We have five minutes to get there and we still need to stop at the armory.” She stood in the doorway and paused, admiring him from afar. She hadn’t realized how much she was bonded him until now; now that they were headed out to the real danger. She had been dispersed into a separate group from him and didn’t want their last words to be tense. She flipped her hood up. “Hey, Seril?” she said. “Don’t die ok?”

----------------------------------------

Up on the roof, Nya looked around at all the other recruits who had made it so far. There was a huge range of emotions. Everything from Seril's excitement, and Alda's anxiety to Estelle's fear was present. And Nya could feel it all. She shouldn't have tried reading Seril. Now she could feel everyone else more intensely. She moved slightly outside of the group, trying to get a breath. There was no way she was going to be able to keep focused if she couldn't get everyone under control. She had never tried to calm an entire group before. She focused on the faces of each of her peers. Here goes nothing, she thought.

Paige's afternoon was basically a blur. She spent her evening sleeping off a pounding headache courtesy of Citrine's powerful kick. The sound of voices over the intercom woke her from her peaceful slumber. Sitting up, she listened to the announcement. She couldn't believe they were getting actual experience, and only after one day. If this were any other situation, she'd be over the moon with excitement. But a Death Anomalous was nothing to take lightly.

Getting dressed quickly she tightened the laces on her boots and tied up her hair before racing down to the armory. She grabbed a pistol and placed it in its holster. Looking around, she saw a lot of big guns. But now wasn't the time to become acquainted with a weapon she had never used. Finally, she spotted some daggers and ninja stars. Grabbing several of both, she tucked them away in her uniform before racing to the roof. She noticed that a good amount of the Recruits were already there. She didn't really have the chance to get to know most of them. But there's nothing like a stressful situation to show some true colors and encourage group bonding.

After the announcement blared, Lilith had rushed out of the pool faster than she had ever thought she could. She almost slipped a couple times, her feet wet and slipping against all sorts of surfaces but eventually she got to her room. She threw on her outfit and put her hair into a tight ponytail. Before leaving her room she grabbed a special package hidden deep within her gift basket. Wrapped in wrinkled metallic tissue paper, were four magazines of her special ammunition she had gotten made for her. She figured that since they were using pistols anyway, she would just grab two and load them with her special bullets.

With that thought in mind and a face as set as stone she rushed out of her room and towards the weapon area. She quickly grabbed two very dangerous pistols and started heading towards the roof. She kept one eye on the guns as she switched out the normal ammo for her corrosive bullets, and kept the other on the path ahead.

Before she even realized it, she was on the roof, facing some of the others that she would be fighting with tonight. She started towards Sky, and huffed. "Sky, sir. I'm sorry I took so long. I'm ready though, and I can't wait to fight under your command." She looked at Mason with a small smile. "You're beating really took something out of me. I hope I'm still good." Lilith's eyes wandered over to Estella, and as much as she wanted to talk to her friend she felt like staying and preparing more. For some weird reason though, Lilith felt a strange sense of calm. Maybe she was more sued to all of this than she thought she was.

Without a moment of hesitation Zeph too left the pool, only a step behind Lilith. As she stripped out of her swimwear she also threw her petty thoughts to the ground with it. Her hair left a trail of water as she sprinted out in the direction of the weapons room, she did not even bother to dry off. When she arrived her eyes looked about at the rather varied display of gear, while she would have liked to have grabbed a larger weapon she opted for a standard knife to offset her side arm. Perhaps it was a sign of insecurity that she chose something so overly familiar rather than something more practical.

When she arrived with her fellow group mates she noted her rival Estelle faltering to the question of Alda. Mason seemed to be at least mentally prepared, as did Finn, at least considering the situation.............No she could not just ignore it. Her foe can not fall so early it makes her look weak. Zeph stood directly in front of the girl and spoke almost tauntingly.

"Estelle Zaneux I will not allow you to perish till I have claimed victory in our games. Do not dare think of escaping me." As she ended her sentence she checked for one in the chamber and she shook the remaining drops of water from her hair most likely adding to the moisture on Estelle's face. Zeph shifted to Estelle's side and smirked, not at the dismay of her foe but the increasing excitement she felt. She looked at her squad-mates that had already gathered and stated "Under normal circumstance I too dislike going into a situation without information but this is going to be...fun."

He snorted. Fun. Chasing after god knows what in the late noon wasn't quite his idea of fun... although, if he put it in the right perspective, it would be just like hunting in Slight. Fun? Maybe... as long as it didn't kill him. He liked to call it business, or survival, but hey - she was rich, and those folks were crazy.

Dyana

Dyana went to grab more practice rounds for her gun, talking to other guards on the way there, when she heard Sky's voice come in on the intercom. The guards she were talking to instantly began moving, making her get into combat mode. Slinging her gun over her back she quickly went to the barracks first, watching others pick out her gun, she quickly scanned the room "Can I get a bag of 6 15 armor piercing sniper rounds for the ESG45, a tactical red dot sight and..." her eyes scanned the walls at the huge number of pistols, until it got her eye "and that" she pointed at the 574SIDE-M/233 "holster and ammo for that as well please!" the man nodded quickly running and then coming back with a small compact military pack, explaining how to get to things fast without taking it off.

Dyana quickly nodded her head, and thanked him before turning on her heels, until something caught her eye. She went over to a table and picked up a seemingly reflective hooded cloak. "If it's reflective, why would you need this?" a man walked by and laughed at her "take it, you'll figure it out pretty quickly" he threw one at her and she caught it thanking him, before running out and towards her room. Running in her room, she quickly took off her clothes and put on her combat outfit, followed by the backpack and then the cloak over her. She went over to her door, looking at Colt's and thought for a moment. Running to her bag, she quickly dug through it until she found a titanium bullet, one matching the one around her neck on her necklace. Quickly running out the door, she ran towards the stairs and skipped steps. Reaching the top she caught her breath and sighed "lets hope the knuckle head is up here..."

Dyana pushed out the door and saw others were already there, but not to many, looking ahead she saw Colt in front of her and she sighed. Looking down to her gun, she began making sure it was alright then suddenly her mind seemed to begin inspect a switch almost like the safety that she hadn't noticed before. Switching, the barrel began to change, and it suddenly began to widen. "Holy shit this sniper has a rail gun feature? The hell?" she could hardly contain herself from giggling like a little girl. Switching it off, the barrel switched again and she put it back on her backpack holster.

Walking up to Colt, she pulled her hood down and took the mask of the cloak off. lowering her voice so only Colt could hear "Listen before we go off, I want you to have this" she took off her necklace and put it in his hand "Just to be sure you have to be alive to give it back" she winked at him and watched Sky talking to the others.

"Glad to see everyone made it," Sky said, running a hand through his hair. "Alright, now down to business. Kym, your group is going to take over by the sea. My group will be heading into the forest and Nau's group will be heading South, toward the desert." Sky took a deep breath and said, "Look, this isn't like training. Some of you will get hurt. Some of you will wind up in the infirmary. This Anomalous is dangerous, so you need to be on guard. Do what your leader tells you to do and don't disobey." He turned back toward the helicopters, as did Nau and Kym. He got on and said, "Get in. We head out now." Once everyone was on their helicopter, the three different helicopters took off in different directions.

Kym's Group
It took about a half an hour for the helicopter to get all the way out to the sea. It landed near the edge of the water, on the beach. Landing directly in between the wall and water is very dangerous; there is extremely marshy land there. Kym hopped out of the helicopter and flipped her goggles down over her eyes. She turned to her group and said, "I want you all to take extreme caution. A lot of Anomalous use the marsh water and mud to blend in with the environment. It would be a great prize to the Anomalous if they were to kill one of you." Kym cocked an eyebrow at the group. "I don't want to hear any complaining and you follow my orders to the letter? Got it? Okay. Now let's go." She took off at a jog through the swampy marsh, carrying her gun out in front of her.

Nau's Group
It was a short fly to the desert, considering that it was closer than the marshlands and sea. Before the helicopter even touched down, Nau had jumped out and was swinging his gun from side to side, peering through the scope to make sure that no one was actually there. He then turned back to the helicopter and waved for the Recruits to come and join him. "Stay within sight of each other," Nau said. "Follow my every order and watch out for venomous snakes. There are LOADS of them out here." He began walking through the sand, kicking up small bits of dust as he went.

Sky's Group
The fly to the forest was the longest, almost an hour. Since Anomalous tended to camp farther out in the woods, they needed to get out to where there would actually be Anomalous. Sky looked down on the forest below as they began their descent and he turned back to the Recruits. "This is the hardest sector actually hunt in. There is so much coverage that you can't exactly see where you are going at times. It's easy for Anomalous to hide in the trees or in the bushes. That's why they chose me to go out here and that's why I brought you six along with me. You're the best of the best." He hopped out of the helicopter as it landed and swung his gun, making sure there was no one there to ambush them. He then waved to the students. "Stay near me at all times. Colt..." he said, looking directly at the eighteen year old. "I want you at the back of the line." Colt nodded and waited for everyone to get off the helicopter. Sky walked over to him and said, "You're my strongest. If..." Sky paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. "If the Anomalous gets you, you have the best chance of surviving." Colt nodded before Sky ran back up front and whispered, "Alright, everyone follow me and keep your voices down."

Colt looked over at Dyana as she handed him this necklace. "Who says I won't be?" he murmured as she turned away. He tucked the necklace into the pocket of his uniform and immediately got on the helicopter when Sky told them to. He was glad to be going with Dyana. That way he could watch out for her. He was also glad to be going with Sky because Sky, considering he was the Weaponry and Defense coach, had to be the best in the biz. The helicopter took off and an hour later, they were landing in the forest. Sky went through all of this nostalgic crap, but before he even knew it, Sky asked him to stay at the back of the line. Colt raised an eyebrow as Sky walked over to him and explained why. He just nodded as Sky walked back up to the front. Colt tailed behind everyone as they got started on their search through the forest.

Citrine was worried. What if someone didn't come back? She jumped out of the helicopter and into the marshland, being second behind Kym. She walked as Kym did, holing her pistol up just in case she needed to fire off a quick shot. She looked behind her to the other Recruits and saw that a few of them were just as frightened as she was. She took a deep breath and continued onward.

((Alright y'all. You guys know your groups. So with each new post now in the group, I want you to mention everyone's username. That way, if something happens to the group as a whole, we can respond to it. If an Anomalous attacks someone in the group, then everyone is affected. Got it? I, ME, MINE, ALONE will decide where the Death Anomalous is at. I'll be putting a picture of it up later.))

((Short Post is Short. Just wanted to get the ball rollin')

Mason stepped off the chopper, following the line and trying to stay towards the rear. To his irritation, Colt seemed to always stay in the very back of the line. Without speaking, Mason slowed his pace so that he would eventually fall to the rear. With Sky at the front, they were well covered, so Mason took it upon himself to guard the flank. This would've been successful, if he hadn't been contested by Colt. Whenever he slowed down to fall towards the back, the smaller boy slowed even more - it was like he was determined to be the tail of the group.

He finally gave up and settled with second to last. He carried the massive gun with little effort, following the recruits in front of him. A couple times, he would've sworn he saw something to either side of their line, but he ended up shaking it of as just his imagination.
