Well, it's been a while. If you don't mind me asking, how crowded is this RP at the moment? I'm starting to feel as though I may be able to do something here after all.

First of all, Chosen Undead has plenty of personality: the one I project onto him, from my personal experience playing the game. If the fanbase can collectively piece together an entire world's worth of lore from vague item descriptions, I think I can turn out a functional personality for a player avatar.

Secondly, that was uncalled for. I think we both got a little too heated in that last game, but it is important that we learn to live and let live. This game is more of a sandbox anyways, so it's not like the problems can even repeat themselves.

What I'm saying is that's original material you've come up with for the character. There has to be at least some solid canon facets of the character's personality for them to work. A lot of NPC's in Dark Souls work, but not the Chosen Undead, since the player can make the Chosen Undead whatever they want in appearance and personality.

As for that matter, that might be true. But I'm still very worried and I don't want this to turn into some kind of mess in the OOC. That wouldn't be good for either of us or any of the other players. I'll talk to @Grey Star and @Sir Screwloose about my concerns and what you've said and we'll come to a verdict. I'd rather not dwell on the past but I'd also rather not have an explosion in the present.

Huh, even with a bunch of dropouts we still have more people than I thought. Excellent! I love having lots of players!

It sure is a good thing I'm basing my interpretation on the actual canon things you do in the game, then. Even if the way I play CU would be a little different from how another might do so, there are still constants, like an overall somber demeanor, the threat of hollowing, and a general sense of genre savvy.

It always helps to read the rules of an RP before you apply:
Customizable characters from video games are okay as long as they have some sort of canon personality and are not just heroic mimes.
That's in rule number one, first post in this thread. Go check if you want to, and in the meantime, think of somebody else you want to play.

Yeah the mention thing is tremendously useful and I wish I had it in the last forum-based RP I was in.

@LmpkioI haven't actually posted for either of them since food day started. Fawful was last seen scheming while searching for a base of operations (which will probably be either a secret underground thing or an abandoned warehouse) and Wreck-Gar is probably off doing Wreck-Gar things somewhere. I'll try to get a post up some time tomorrow morning.
