@ayzrules I'm at 4,500 but my inspiration just came back to me. Because what better to do than make the main character have a near-death experience at the beginning of the third chapter?

Um.
Like I said: Writing isn't going to earn me a college scholarship. Clarinet playing might. I need to work on the things that will be beneficial to my future.

@RomanAria hey you never know-essays are a huge part of the app

and girl you're fourteen, have some fun while you can! It's okay to devote some time to other things, you know? I'm definitely not spending all my time working on SAT prep and stuff

sure, I do spend a good amount of time doing test prep, but you gotta have breaks sometimes

Have fun!!!! the world is wonnnnnderfulllll, go explore!!! I don't rp because i think that's what college admission people want to see, I rp because it's fun-your future isn't everything. Of course it's great that you're thinking about it, but don't miss out on your life because you're so focused on your future, you know?

Just hit 20k with my meagre 1,100 words a day goal.

It's nowhere near what it's supposed to be as per the suggested rules, but damned if I don't have the most gorgeously consistent graph of the like four people whose pages I've checked out so far.

I think the wordcount right now is somewhere along the lines of 3.5k in the prologue and second chapter, 3k in the first chapter, like 9k in the ridiculously long third chapter and then today's work on the fourth. Probably doesn't feel enough like a science fiction but I'm proud of it anyway.
