Trinity Stratos

"Whoa..." Trinity awed at Ariel and her tale. It was hard to swallow, if you weren't aware of the shenanigans already underfoot. She dove into Karn's body to join their souls for a short time. Quite an amazing story, maybe even fit for lyric. However, before she could even think to ask more questions, Ariel was cheering Karn on, and she was glad to see him in a frilly pink dress again. She knew what it meant. They said the other Karn was female, but it seemed like they were swapped. But, that was hardly her place to say.

Ariel was really excited to see Karn back, and immediately took to cheering him. Her promise? Trinity took after Ariel's cheering, conjuring two trumpets to blare pleasantly in his name. Overhead, and pointed up. No need to sound in someone's ear. "And a victory, too!" But, jeez. Trinity gave a chuckle as Karn latched on to Penny's leg. What a kid. She was about to get really deep-thinking amid the arena atmosphere, but a tumbling Ariel interrupted her thoughts. With a simple utterance, standing for threatened aggression, the minstrel gave pause when she came to a... rather curious girl. She had a not-quite-wild magic about her. She should be a little careful.

Ariel, and Fleo spoke first. Speaking of guild, however, she couldn't see a mark. "Show me your guild mark, girl." She spoke softly, turning and kneeling in her seat to face the girl. She folds and leans against the back of her seat, trying to seem non-threatening. From here, she could see the ice on the underside of the girl's seat. Ice magic?

Jasmine

@Raijinslayer
As Nidhogg thanked the man for his services, Jasmine quickly leapt to her feet and trailed after him as he left the butchers shop.
"Jasmine, you seem like a nice girl, but you also seem a bit to eager and cheery considering a coupleif things that have happened today, and I have two theories as to why. Either you're a sadist of some measure, in which case I say welcome to the club, or you're very naive and trusting, which I fid to be more likely. Now, to help me decide in this manner, as well as kill time for a few minutes, I'm going to ask a few questions, one at a time, and what happens afterwards rests on my interest in you afterwards."
Jasmine tilted her head towards Nidhogg as he talked but nodded nonetheless.
"I don't see why not, ask away!" Jasmine said cheerfully as she listened to his first question.
"Firstly, Jasmine, I must ask that, from what you've seen of me today, am I a good person? If not, what makes me a bad person? Spek only what you feel,,and don't worry about hurting my feelings, cause they're as numb and cold as my actual body.
Jasmine looked at him strangely before answering.
"From what I've seen of you? From what I've seen you don't seem to be that bad...nor that good. I mean, you just seem a little weird is all." Jasmine replied with a school-girlish giggle.
"I mean I haven't seen you really be a 'bad' person. Nor have I really seen you be a 'good' person. But you do act rather strange Mr Duarthy." Jasmine added as she giggled again. She didn't quite understand what the point behind these questions were but they didn't bother her, as long as he didn't ask something too personal she was more than happy to indulge his curiosity.

Dawn Daniels - Crocus

@Lunarlors34

"And a little ice on the ground's enough for you to read her 'magic signature'?" It sounded suspect to him but Dawn wasn't exactly an expert on magic, especially obscure forms of it. He'd done a decent amount of research surrounding the problems Elizabeth had with her magic but past that he was more or less an novice, even with his own.

If he were Elizabeth were would he go? In her mind she wasn't lost, she wouldn't be looking for him. For her her wanderings were all about exploration, she wanted to see and experience new things. It was possible then that she might just wander the streets with no pattern, from one attraction to the next. Her attention span was usually limited so she wouldn't spent a great deal of time in any one place.

"Is there a chance we can contact the administration of the Games? Get them to flash her picture over the Lacrimavision during a break in the contest?"

Elizabeth Daniels - Phoenix Wing Grand Stands

@CirusArvennicus@Lugubrious@t2wave

Elizabeth cocked her head to the side and just starred at Ariel. A small innocent smile lite her face. The girl could change colors. Elizabeth reached out and touched Ariel's hair which a moment before had been bright yellow and now was a deep orange. She wondered if it felt different when it was yellow compared to when it was orange. The fact that Ariel was angry registered on some level with Elizabeth but she didn't concentrate on it. When Fleo began to insult Elizabeth she turned to look at him, a deeply hurt expression on her face. Her fingers which she'd forgotten about froze around a lock of Ariel's hair as small ice crystals began to grow out from her hand in Ariel's hair.

When Trinity chimed in Elizabeth's hand fell to her side and she sat back down in her seat which though she didn't notice was ice cold. Her guild mark? Guild mark? Looking at the three of them Elizabeth realized that they all had the same tattoo, in various colors and places but it was the same image. A sign that they were wizards. A sign of magic. Elizabeth didn't have anything like that, but a mark that she was a mage, that she had painfully marked on her skin.

Elizabeth pulled up her left sleeve revealing an old burn mark that ran over her forearm from her wrist to her elbow. It didn't hurt anymore, not for years and it didn't impair her movement at all but it was a mark of using her magic the one time she'd truly tried. Her eyes turned slightly silver as they misted over at the memory.

"Jamie...we might want to hurry I sense Master Jack's energy and I am sensing a familiar energy to Jackie's own..." Rose said picking up Elyse before leading the way.

Amaya Vanisis // Crocus

@Jangel13@joshua Tamashii@Zarkun

"Angelo. Master Jack is basically saying if you wanna make it up to him and Dragon Fang, stop the girl that is trying to get to Jackie." Amaya stated to Angelo before she continued to walk forward.

"Your her sister aren't you? You are identical to her in looks and smells. She wouldn't want you to do this...Dragon Fang is her new home...Her family, she changed her destiny for the better...You can as well But attacking someone who gave her a New start is a horrible way of showing your care for her. So leave now." Amaya stated to the girl hoping to get this to stop without having to infere with the fight.

Angelo grinned when he finally got the green light to act now he had to try and see if his new idea will work or not "I promise to give you a proper apology when im done! Angelo called to him smiling and glad he could fight again. Not being able to while being targeted made him feel small again. Now he was ready and willing to take the girl down who kept trying to kill him. Angelo stood up and cracked his knuckles before saying Mach 2! Angelo immediately went to his blue armor form and with extraordinary speed he charged at the girl but just before making contact he said Off Angelo then went back to normal. He decided that he couldn't use his Mach two to make contact and deal damage but the speed he gets from it is to good not to use. When he made contact it was with a hard punch to her gut sending her flying a few feet away without any electrical damage simply enhanced force from the speed he gained while in Mach 2 state. He will be damned if he will ever use it again unless he is ready to kill and right now he was just aiming to teach her a lesson about picking a fight with someone who cant fight back

Karn || Crocus || Game Stadium

@Caits

Karn purred a bit as Penny crouched and embraced him, his cheerful smile slightly softening a bit more, a bit sadder. "Yeah. I missed you too. Sorry for the absence. But Eddy did pretty well." he said before brightening a bit. "And you're welcome. Having the blood magic on me wasn't so fun either." The blonde chirped cheerfully as he broke the hug to examine his wrist where Grant's magic used to be.

Ethereal eye flashing a little and his cheerful childish expression changing one to neutral calm, Edo-Karn clicked her tongue a bit."One. Nice seeing up the dress. Two, good thing this kid acts like a kid brother. Otherwise, this may be awkward to a lot of people." she mused calmly, though was probably teasing, before the expression changed back to cheerful as Karn took over once more.

"Awkward how? Fira is very nice to hug!" Karn blinked curiously.

"I will be surprised if this world's dictionary doesn't have your face besides the word puerile." Edo-Karn switched back briefly before Karn came back with a amused giggle before watching the three remaining contestants.

"Should we play as well?" he asked curiously as he glanced to senior Guildmate.

"We could just let them duke it out and then tag them while we take a little breather. Then double attack them or something. Sure you two's flames are quite dangerous if you mash them together."

Prince || Crocus || Game Stadium

"Trust can be quite fragile, especially towards those you don't quite know so well. Within a Guild, we fairly know each other fairly well. Others can be a bit unpredictable. For example, Phoenix Wing. They may say they play for the Light but they just have as dangerous actions as everyone else. Makes people nervous. Angelo's actions sort of proves that. It was probably a accident to be sure, but it does show how dangerous just one member can be. And the kid wasn't even a S class. Power makes people nervous, and nerves make it harder to trust. Even if there is many good actions, people tend to focus on what they deem as sour actions. The Masters make mistakes too, they feel just as we do. Perhaps Master Jack didn't react the best. But he's only human. A human with many children just as Jamie does. It's difficult to keep up with everything. Many wizards in one place is bound to stir up some trouble. Lots of magic. Even I could cause quite a bit of trouble if I wanted to." he chuckled in amusement. It was a thought. So many wizards in one place, so much magic.. it was pretty much a buffet for his species. Course, he'd probably just a severely scolded.

Cody

@Prince of Seraphs
"Since I am looking for that specific signature yes....as long as she isn't surrounded by a huge amount of other magic." Cody mumbled the last part under his breath. He could sense magical power yes, but he wasn't an expert tracker. The more magic around her the more she would have to use for Cody to find her. Trying to find one small ounce of magic amongst, let's say a magic based event at the stadium, would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack....wait a minute.
The stadium?
"Hmm that could work...but do you think she's at the stadium? I mean she likes exciting things right? What would be more exciting than an event or fight at the Grand Magic Games?" Cody nodded in agreement as he made his suggestion. The grand magic games administration might be able to help, and if Cody was correct they were also based at the stadium.
So while they were there it wouldn't hurt to check out the place a little for his sister.

<Snipped quote by Plank Sinatra>

Cyare Staunton

"I suppose the very concept is something unique to humanity. Not exactly a concept the average monster would entertain. Could be a significant disadvantage against another mage, however." The Tactical Mage took this new information in stride, adding and readjusting her perceptions of the other mage as well as his companion. Try though she might, a blind mage being combat-capable was a difficult concept to process. More than likely her chosen magic had some kind of sensory input, something she could use to compensate, but that was still a glaring vulnerability. What if she fought a user of Tactical Magic, like Cyare herself? Knight Form would put her out of commission in an instant. ... Still, it was not her business. Nor was she likely to fight such a mage. "Like I said, most of the combat jobs were gone yesterday. I wish you luck, but I have doubts that any remain."

"I will have to locate my... associate... before I go." She frowned slightly as she secured the robe tightly about her, tucking her sheathed blade under one arm. A thought occurred, but she wasn't sure if it was one she wished to follow through on. But it might be advantageous... And there were not likely to be many jobs left for them given how many mages were in the city. "If you cannot find one, see if I or my associate, Rei, are still on the premises. An additional couple of pairs of hands would not be a disadvantage, I suppose."

Angel Ferrara

"Huh."
Angel thought that over for a second, twirling a lock of blonde hair around his finger, and then smiled gratefully. "I might just do that. Thanks, Cyare."

The mage adjusted his clothing over his slender frame and managed to keep his grin somewhat steady at Cyare - though he still rubbed the back of his neck somewhat sheepishly at her, and there was the faintest hint of a blush left on his cheeks.

"I'll fill Kaia in. Hey, if you want to roll the dice on us meeting up again...maybe skip out on the inn's complimentary breakfast? Chances are I could cook up something better if you gave me twenty minutes. Never hurts to feel satisfied going into a contract."

The blush threatened to return along with the offer.

"I appreciate the offer." The unaligned mage brushed her brown hair back over her shoulder casually, regarding Angel with a faintly curious expression. She had not anticipated her Plan B to be accepted so quickly as the other mage's apparent Plan A, but she could not say there wasn't something mildly appealing about his offer. Inns of this price range tended to be rather scant on the breakfast options, and she always preferred to leave for her missions on a full stomach. Nevertheless...

"However I would not want to be a bother. I should be present in the hotel for some time yet, however, if you do need to seek me out."

After about twenty minutes of napping Robin awoke in the unusual surroundings looking around a bit before wiping his eyes. He let out a soft yawn and remembered where he was and why he was here. "Hmm...oh yeah that's right I got accepted into Phoenix Wing and was given this room..sleeping on a bed is nice." As he spoke to himself he rubbed the soft sheets a bit and smiled.

A few minutes after waking up Robin stood from his bed and looked out the window at the new city. He'd never been here yet so he thought he might as well take a walk around town, get used to the surroundings, find where certain buildings are, and other things of the like. He stretched his arms behind his back and walked to the table next to the bed grabbing his robe and putting it back on before leaving the room and the building soon after. "Looks like a nice town, maybe I'll meet some nice people out there, maybe I'll run into some excitement, who knows." Once out of the building he walked down the street heading off in a random direction because that's the way he likes to explore.

After awhile of walking around he heard a rather loud commotion and walked towards it to see what was going on, upon arrival at the location of the commotion he saw a beast made of Shadows rampaging on the city and innocent civilians. "Oh dear...I must say this just won't do, these people seem to have done nothing wrong to deserve this yet they're being attacked without provaction. I simply must do something about this." Robin looked up at the creature and whistled loudly to get it's attention. "Hey, tall, dark, and hideous! Why not fight someone who can fight back!"

Ariel - GMG Phoenix Wing Stands

@CirusArvennicus@Lugubrious@Prince of Seraphs
Glaring daggers at the girl didn't seem to make much of an impact. Fleo put in her thoughts as well, backing Ariel up. Ready to continue laying into the stranger the now Fire mage opened her mouth again to speak but stopped short as Elizabeth reached out and touched her hair. How was such a simple action so surprising? "What are you doing?" This girl was odd. She hadn't said a word but the behavior looked familiar. It actually reminded her of her Spirit magic personality.

Trinity took a much more gentle approach it seemed. And the girl let go of Ariel's hair. Brushing her hair slighting she felt the frost that had developed on it. "What the..." Brushing off the ice she eventually used a small flame in her hand to melt it. "Tch. I think she's an Ice mage. Froze some of my hair." Crossing her arms she stepped away. Ariel had learned that this personality tended to get her in trouble. Probably would take a moment for her to cool off.

Nidhogg

"Hmmmm. . . true, that was a rather silly question, in hindsight." Nidhogg noted, "You've only barely met me, seen only a fraction of who I am, so why would I ask you such a question? Truthfully, I''m bored and tend to do and say odd things when I'm bored. Nothing interesting seems to be happening right-we should probably duck right now." Nidhogg stopped in the middle of talking for a second, before he grabbed Jasmine by the shirt and quickly pulled her down, just as a person flew over their heads, smacking rather savagely against a nearby building, before falling to the ground, completely still. Blinking, Nidhogg stared at the body for a second, only for his crimson eyes to suddenly seem to light up with excitement as he turned around to look at the source of the thrown person. He was faced with a shadowy monster that seemed to be savagely assaulting citizens and guards alike with seemingly no care for who it attacks. The sight brought a very wide smile to his face as he snapped his fingers, causing the corpse behind him to suddenly jump up to attention, the head hanging limply as the body moved stiffly over to his side, silent and unnatural in it's movements and general look.

"Quite right, boy, but I say we don't rush the situation. While I doubt the beast is that strong, no need to kill it immediately. Let's just keep the damage to a minimum and play with a bit. Have our own little match outside of the stadium, give the people a show." Nidhogg addressed the young man who was calling out the beast, though he didn't know why the man bothered, as it didn't really look like a creature capable of conversation. Stupid decision, tactically, if you wanted to kill the creature as soon as possible, but most light guild mages were dumb like that. They just don't really think about these kind of things, do they? "So, Jasmine, take a step back or two, wouldn't want to get blood on your clothes. That being said, I really don't want it in my hair either, do you know how much of a pain it is to get blood out of a braid this thick? It's maddening, I tell you, maddening." As Nidhogg turned to talk to Jasmine, seemingly not paying attention to the fight anymore, the corpse by his side suddenly twitched and spasmed before it's chest burst open in a spray of crimson, followed by flash of ivory as a spike of Ivory rushed forward to impale the creature. Whether it impaled the creature or not, a barrage of spikes would burst out of the bone, starting at about a foot in length, that would then seek out the creature to further impale it, while nearly missing a few bystanders, possibly nicking one or two of them, but no serious damage done. While this was going on, Nidhogg was looking over his hair, trying to see if he could spot any specks of blood in it.

"Better not be a single drop, or that thing is dying very slowly and painfully . . . that is, if it can feel pain. Do you think it can feel pain? Can it even bleed? Quite a mystery that is, but one I'm sure we'll soon find the answer to."

Jasmine Lockwood Shiro Hime

@Raijinslayer@Natsume Honnaji
"I suppose so." Jasmine giggled at Nidhogg's rather strange way of talking. She let out a girlish squeal when suddenly grabbed by Nidhogg and brought down close to the ground.
She didn't see the body, but she did hear the sickening sound it made when it crashed into the nearby wall.
Watching with eyes widened in horror she saw the shadowy monster just up ahead and quickly scurried backwards when Nidhogg told her to get back. She didn't need to be told twice to stay away from that creature. However she now had to blink a few times as a silver haired girl now appeared beside Nidhogg's side with....a towel?
"Ni-I mean Jack-Sama, here to wipe off any blood." Shiro offered the towel in her hands to Nidhogg. He would recognise Shiro obviously, since they were from the same guild.
"The Mistress has asked me to assist you. She would've come herself, but...." Shiro curtsied to Nidhogg before glancing around the crowd. Manami was a lot more known than most of the Shadow Heart members after all, so she couldn't risk coming out in public.
Jasmine glanced from one wizard to the other. They must know each other obviously.
And if it wasn't obvious Shiro was completely ignoring Robin's entire existence, as well as Jasmine's

This young lady's behavior was strange, more like the behavior of a little girl. A curious, simple little girl. Curiosity and emotion. Be soft and sweet.

"I don't think she's ever seen anyone that can change color before, Ariel. That's probably why she- whoa."

Elizabeth had shown them a scar, in response to Trinity's asking for a guild mark. "Not... quite what I was expecting. This marks you as a wizard?" She would have to approach this differently. The girl didn't seem terribly enthused about the mark, but Trinity had to wonder if persuing that would help her place this girl with her friends or not.

"Are you here with anyone? Oh, and what's your name? I'm Trinity." The trumpets floating beside her dissipate, leaving behind a soft light that swirls into another instrument, a hand harp.

And thus the trap prepares to spring.

Angel's eyes lit up with the characteristic glee that came when he knew someone wanted a meal, but denied it anyway. Putting one hand in his pocket, he smiled at his feet and shrugged. Meal plans were coalescing in his head, courses forming within the cloudy, dreamy landscape of his mind. Externally, he shrugged, looked up, and smiled a little wider. In her usual attire, it was a little bit easier to avoid blushing at Cyare. A little bit.

Habitually shooting her a glare before remembering it'd do no good, I flipped the note to find something resembling handwriting.

Now, granted, I say "resembling" in that most handwriting I've encountered wasn't like this, least of all my own. You may expect me, being super insightful and analytical to have a very modulated, proper aesthetic to my notes, but you'd be completely wrong in that. My notes come fast and loose, because, hey, as long as I can read it, speed kills the work faster.

In contrast, what I was looking at was closer to calligraphy than any handwriting I'd seen in my 22 years. All flowing and pretty and perfectly clear...

It must have been a girl at the helm. A very cute one.

Nothing more masculine than that could write like this. We guys are wired too differently, we rarely pay this much attention to aesthetic detail when we could just quickly scrawl shit out to our friends. Or acquaintances.

"Well, it says they're going look for breakfast and maybe a bath. Might check out the job board too."

A bath...

I don't know why she thought "Kaia" would be able to read that, but we all have lapses in memory.

Lux Harken

Six year old Filliae sobbed as she uselessly tried to dig her mother out of the pile of fallen masonry. People were screaming nearby and the air was thick with powdered morter from damaged and destroyed buildings. Through it all the little girl scrabbled at what was trapping her mommy. They had to get away from this scarry place and go find daddy, Filliae was terrified and she wanted to go to the zoo. Mommy and daddy had promised they would take her to the zoo.

The little girl's mother desperately tried to push her daughter away, to tell her to run. To flee as fast as her little legs could take her and not look back. Instead all she could do was look on in despair as the shadowy monster that had sent her husband flying seconds earlier turned to the two of them. As it sent one jagged and whispy arm rocketing forward the mother did her best to pull her young child against her and closed her eyes.

"Light Make: Citadel!"

A voice filled with rage and power called out and almost immediately a low thud eminated from somewhere nearby, golden light begining to shine through her eyelids. Slowly the young mother opened her eyes, wondering why they were not dead yet. Once she caught sight of her surroundings though, they flew open in shock. Surrounding the pair was a series of semitransparent walls that eminated the soft light that bathed them. The monster was in the middle of withdrawing a step as if to examine what was sepperating it from it's prey.

From slightly farther down the street Lux Harken looked upon the scene. One hand held out before him, a result of his casting while the other trembled as it held onto an empty hilt. It was not fear that caused the tremble though. No, raw fury filled his mind at the moment. Fury directed solely at the dark beast and whoever had called it.

Joshua Tamashii and Aria

@Amaya Yashia @Zarkun @Jangel13

Aria didn't reply to Master Jack's comments about her past other then to use her magic to make two more knives. Catching movement out of the corner of her eyes, she turned to Amaya and frowned at the girl's words.
"I have no parents or siblings Dragon Slayer. And neither do you if the information is correct. Abandoned at a church." She said bluntly. "Someone who has no family and has always been abandoned by those who might be has no right to tell people about such a thing. Tell me, how long will it be until you're abandoned again?"

"Wow, low blow." Joshua said, stepping forward.

"Coming from the person who murdered his own friend in cold blood over something as trivial as pride?" Aria said, stopping Joshua in his tracks as he visibly winced and tightened his grip on his sword.

Feeling that would be enough to stop at least on of them, Aria turned to Jack and let a smile slip.
"For a God, you're not that omnipotent." She said as a glass serpent silently moved out of a nearby mirror and over to Jackie, rearing it's head to bite down on her neck.

However distracted she seemed to be, she hadn't kept her eyes off Amaya, Joshua, and Angelo. When the latter summoned his Mach Two armor, she turned to face him, ready to fight. She knew she would only have a split second once he was moving and she acted the moment he vanished, summoning a mirror between then. The moment Angelo's fist contacted it, the mirror started to glow, rather then shatter.
"You're done for." She said as the force of Angelo's fist was reflected right back at him, with most of it being focused back into his own fist.

Pyrrha Arvanitas

Pyrrha was on her knees and too busy feeling pain to be able to react to Loki/Zephyr's antics. However, the Trickster God spent too much time talking and by the time he tried to throw a punch at her, she was able to react quickly enough to grab his first.
"You know something... you talk WAY to much." She said before she began burning his hand with some blue flames. Once she was sure he was hurt, she pushed the fist away before standing up and glaring at the god/mage thing. "God-Take Over Loki if I heard right. Remind me, isn't Loki that failure of an adopted son to another god?"

"Ice cream!" Elyse shouted, completely oblivious to the tension in the air now.

Amelia nodded and got up, following Rose. If something bad was happening, she was hoping she could put a stop to it.

Jack didn't move but grinned, a spear of black fire popping up from the flames on a wall near the snake and spearing it's head, shattering it. "And you have made your intentions very clear, young woman. the flames littering this room may not be burning anything, but I've allowed a limited amount of sentience that allows them to actively protect Jackie. So, you can leave in one piece, or I can make sure you never threaten anyone again, it's your choice."

Angelo noticed just as the mirror came up that he made a little mistake but he did know that he didn't attack her full force so he would be able to handle this attack. "Mach 2" Angelo said as he got his armor on before the reflection made its attack so he simply took a blow and flew a few feet back but little to no damage happened. "off" Angelo said once he landed safely. He growled at the mirror pain in the ass! She was really getting on Angelo nerves "cant handle me fighting head on so you use a mirror again? I swear if it takes forever im going to make you pay for attacking me and Jackie!" Angelo said loudly as he said "Zeus Armor mode Angelo called out and he knew that as much as he wanted to go all out on her they were still inside the hotel and he couldn't cause to much damage. Angelo ran towards her and he dropped to the ground his leg out and he swept her leg once she was off balance Angelo grabbed her arms to keep her trapped and stop moving...
