@Asura How's your sheet coming along?

@Nightwing95 Oh certainly, PM with your thoughts. I thought it prudent to have Jon go solo instead of teaming up with Rhaegar in the beginning of the melee but that can be edited.

@NecroKnight Of course, we're always open.

@kingkonrad I don't see anything wrong with those of the Garderner bloodline having a green thumb or anything like that.

@Winston Smith Thank you, I hope you decide to join us.

@Greenie He's a married man. She lets him get away with it though, sometime she joins in.

@Abefroeman Haha, I plan to incorporate some more supernatural elements in the story. I'm not planning to turn it into a world where magic is ubiquitous and easily observed or accessible, bu magic will definitely have a presence.

And thank you.

@Celeste How's your next post shaping up?

@Gowi Still interested in playing the Baratheons?

@NecroKnight The story's still in the initial phase. We're close to wrapping up the wedding celebration then moving on to more shall we say Game of Thronesy parts of the story.

Of the Great Houses, the Tullys, Starks, Martells, and Greyjoys are open. You can also make characters from any of the other notable families or minor houses. And you can play a wide variety of character types; holy men, bards, mercenaries, merchants, scholars, sailors, and warriors from any of the seven kingdoms in Westeros. There's also the Stepstones, the newly integrated Wildlings, and a bunch of Essosi-type characters who would settle in Westeros or travel to the continent seeking their fortunes. Alchemists, Red Priests, Maesters, Septons, Knights of the Green Hand, all of these are possible.

I just had two RP’s fall through, so it is possible. But I do need to catch up with the IC before I continue to work on my CS. Right now I've been working on the influx of RPs I GM, so I am sure you can understand the undertaking that is in getting them polished and ready.

There is no need to edit anything. Perhaps I can also make a post here with Rhaegar facing a few opponents on his own before approaching Jon for the team-up.

@NecroKnight The wedding of the Crown Prince Aemon to Julianna Lannister

@Gowi Oh I can understand that. I've never GM'd more than two games at a time and I think my most playing was four so it sounds like quite a workload.

@Nightwing95 Sounds cool to me. Have you written anything for Rhaegar's part of the duel?

Are female Lords allowed? Or female Knights?

I have a mind for making a House that has rule over the Dornish Marches. Essentially being #2 in the Stormlands.

May I?

@NecroKnight Women can be the Lady of the holding but only in specific circumstances, it's not a widespread practice in Westeros and I take it on a case-by-case basis. So it's possible but I'd have to see how you handle it first.

Because of Brienne and other warrior women, Lady Knights are a thing but of course they're still relatively uncommon in most of the country.

Hmm I'm not sure if that would fit in the canon. As far as can be indicated, all of the marcher lords, or at least those mentioned, in the Stormlands are on equal terms and swear fealty directly to Storm's End. Everything in the text shows that Houses Caron, Dondarrion, Selmy, and Swann are all equally powerful. Making one of them the Lord of the Marches or having a non-canon House who would rule over all these powerful Baratheon vassals wouldn't be fair to anyone who wanted to potentially play them down the line in my opinion.

House Caron claims the title of Lord of the Marches but they have no official power in that capacity. Effectively this would make House Baratheon the house with dominion of the Marches.

Is there a limit on what powers and skills you have?

I plan to make a Lady Knight with some magic skills. How far or many skills could one have?

Dondarrion protects the central entrance of the Stormlands into Dorne, though.

@NecroKnight Right now the only hard and fast limits would be if they makes sense in the context of the setting and if it would make you far too powerful in comparison to other PCs. I can't define clear criteria and would have to judge when I see it.

Keep in mind magic is being rediscovered but it's not common like in Skyrim or D&D. It's mysterious, it's powerful, and most people find it pretty scary.

So it's certainly possible that a noble might have learned magic but you'd have to come up with compelling backstory for that in addition to how they learned magic while also training at arms and becoming a Lady Knight in a society that is still heavily patriarchal. Everything we see of magic in the universe implies that it takes a long time to learn and master to a useful degree. It's not like the Elder Scrolls where a random schmuck can learn to fire an ice bolt or fireball easily. So basically it depends on how you write it and portray it. We have lots of women warriors in the RP but almost no overtly magical ones so I'll have to see what you come up with.

Just so we're clear, Shireen's abilities are in politics and finance; not battle and the supernatural. Even with the resurrection thing.

@Gowi Oh I understand that. She was more of an unwitting beneficiary of magic rather than a practitioner. Like say, Victarion :P

@DrunkasaurusRex Kudos on the post. I like Malrik a lot as a character, he really feels like someone who could exist in the setting and the whole moment felt like something you could see in the main story. A lot of the decisions of the proud young people of the world often have big consequences after all.

Ellion's gonna feel on top of the world, but there is going to be something in the future that's gonna kick him in the balls for his cockiness, methinks. Alerie is also incredibly deceptive- if you think Jaehaerys is the only person she's gonna lead, watch what she can do, I really do want her to play people against each other....well, particular men that is :D
