"Every Ben for himself!"

Albedo is a Galvan whose DNA has been replaced by that of Benjamin Kirby Tennyson of the Prime Timeline, transforming him into a clone of the Prime Ben. A feedback pulse resulted in his DNA becoming damaged, altering his appearance to have red eyes, white hair, and black eyebrows. His alien forms also exhibit different color patterns which are usually inverted in comparison with those of the Prime Ben, resulting in Albedo sometimes being referred to as ‘Negative Ben.’ As punishment for his arrogance, Albedo’s physical form was changed to trap him in the body of a 10 year old Ben Tennyson.

"Now I see the universe for what it is: We are all dust, bound by one enormous, universal force."

Arrogant, bigoted, and self-righteous, Albedo believes the Galvan to be the superior species in the universe for their intellect. His hero worship of the First Thinker (Azmuth) has soured into skepticism and loathing, leading to his fall from grace. His struggles to defeat Azimuth and Ben Tennyson have not been without learning, however, as Albedo experienced an epiphany about destruction, creation, and the nature of the universe during the period that he possessed Azmuth’s greater intellect.

"My lust for power, my jealousy of Azmuth, it isn't just evil, ultimately; it's pointless."

Albedo, like most Galvans, grew up with a great respect for the First Thinker, Azmuth. He regarded it as a great honor when he was chosen to become one of Azmuth’s lab assistants, working alongside his hero and mentor on the project that eventually became the Omnitrix. Albedo’s contribution to the product was in designing the software interface that the Omnitrix utilizes. During the period that he worked with Azmuth, Albedo worked alongside the clandestine alien service known as the Plumbers and aided Max Tennyson in defending the Solar System from attack.

Albedo learned that the Omnitrix had come into the possession of a human child when the device began to malfunction, causing Ben Tennyson to transform into different aliens without any control over the transformation. In identifying the cause of the malfunction, the creature known as Malware was revealed. Albedo was key to stopping the threat posed by Malware, much to Ben’s regret. This incident proved the inception of Albedo’s fall from grace. Unable to comprehend how Azmuth could allow the Omnitrix to be wielded by a human child, Albedo began to become a skeptic and question the ways of the First Thinker. This skepticism turned to outright rebellion, with Azmuth firing Albedo.

Believing the Galvans to be the superior intellect, Albedo used his knowledge of the Omnitrix to create a duplicate of his former mentor’s masterpiece. His work in recreating the Omnitrix was perfect -- so perfect, in fact, that testing of the duplicate Omnitrix caused it to sync with the original. When this happened, Ben Tennyson’s DNA was coded as Albedo’s default form. This caused him to swap bodies, as his natural Galvan form became only sustainable for short periods, after which he reverted back into a clone of Ben Tennyson. Disgusted at having become human, Albedo traveled to Earth in the hopes of capturing the original Omnitrix and using it to re-set his own to restore him to his Galvan form permanently. This attempt was not only unsuccessful, but a feedback pulse from Ben Tennyson’s Omnitrix damaged Albedo’s DNA, resulting in his appearance altering to exhibit the colors red, white, and black.

Imprisoned into the null void, Albedo was released by the interstellar warlord known as Vilgax, who wanted Albedo’s knowledge of the Omnitrix in order to defeat Ben Tennyson. Building upon his broken Omnitrix, Albedo was able to upgrade the disabled weapon into the Ultimatrix, though he was not able to overcome Vilgax when the warlord (inevitably) betrayed him. After Vilgax’s defeat, Albedo returned to Earth with Ben Tennyson, who agreed to let Albedo go in exchange for the Ultimatrix.

Albedo lived on Earth, portraying Ben Tennyson in a television series based around Ben’s aliens. Using the studio as cover, Albedo set a plan in motion that enabled him to alter his DNA at will, allowing him to return to his Galvan form. This DNA transformation was unstable, however, causing him to revert back to his ‘Negative Ben’ imperfect human clone form. He later built a new Ultimatrix, which he used to stabilize himself in Galvan form. Using this second Ultimatrix, he evolved the Galvan form into Negative Ultimate Grey Matter and was successful in kidnapping Azmuth. With the First Thinker in his possession, Albedo siphoned the knowledge from out of his former mentor. However, possession of Azmuth’s knowledge caused Albedo to have an epiphany, and he ceased his attack on Earth in order to restore and release the First Thinker.

As punishment for what he had done, Azmuth modified the Ultimatrix to revert Albedo back into his human clone form. Horrified at the prospect of being a teenage Ben Tennyson, Albedo was shocked when the Ultimatrix timed out, reducing him to a new default form: a negative version of Ben Tennyson’s childhood self. With his epiphany about the nature of the omniiverse and the futility of his own ego, Albedo asked for an opportunity to do something constructive with his talents and abilities. As a result, he has joined the Plumbers working to monitor and protect the omniverse from threats from across the various realities.

"I don’t need an Omnitrix to destroy you!"

Prime Thinker. Albedo is regarded as one of the most intelligent Galvans living, making him a distant second to Azmuth. His work as a research assistant for Azmuth results in Albedo having a great deal of knowledge about science and technology, and his memory recall is adequate enough as to have re-created a perfect duplicate of the Omnitrix without access to Azmuth’s schematics for reference. He also succeeded in making a working Ultimatrix where Azmuth had not, though Azmuth noted that the evolutionary paradigm was trouble waiting to happen.

Omnitrix. Albedo possesses a copy of Azmuth's masterpiece, which functions identically to the original Omnitrix worn by Benjamin Tennyson. Similar to the Ultimatrix that he had designed and used for a time, Albedo's Omnitrix follows a red/black color scheme, which is also visible in the alien forms he takes (e.g. his Goop is red instead of green).

"Can I get some sunscreen out here!?"

Only Human. In his default form, Albedo has all the physical limitations of a preadolescent human child; including need for an oxygen-rich environment with a pressurized atmosphere in order to breathe, 9-10 hours of sleep, access to food and potable water, and protection from the elements (such as sunscreen). He also demonstrates the emotional vulnerability and volatility of childhood.

Time Out. The Omnitrix is only capable of sustaining an alien form for a limited amount of time. Extremes of energy output can further limit the amount of time that the Omnitrix can safely sustain Albedo in that form before it will time out. Directed energy strikes can also trigger the time out feature as a safety measure to prevent overcharging the power cells. After the Ultimatrix times out, its functionality is locked out while the device undergoes a re-charging cycle.

"What could be worse than being a sixteen year old Ben Tennyson?"

This version of Albedo is using the Omnitrix vice his signature Ultimatrix. The rationale there is that I thought it wise to bring the relative power of his alien forms down to a relative "street level" by taking the so-called "Ultimate" forms off the table (Negative Ultimate Rath, etc).

In terms of characterization, the departure here is the direction that the character takes after having had the epiphany from Ben 10: Omniverse “For A Few Brains More.” Whereas the show loops Albedo into the role of Vilgax’s recurring minion (despite Albedo’s intelligence and Vilgax having betrayed him every single time...), its noteworthy that Albedo doesn’t start off as a villain in the series and originally saved Ben from Malware. Thus, this depiction of Albedo is neither good nor bad, but capable of either.

"Not just green: Rainbow Monkey green!"

Kuki is a skinny girl of Japanese descent. Her usual outfit is an over-sized green sweater, thin black tights, green socks, and black and white sneakers. She has long straight black hair with bangs. Her eyes are very thin, almost appearing closed most of the time, although she does open them wider on occasion. She has many different outfits and disguises for just about any situation, though doesn't use them often.

"Rainbow Monkeys?! Where?!"

Kuki isn't known for being the most aware of her team; It's a blatant fact that Kuki has a very short attention span, but is long on charm, speaking in a slight Asian accent, and often alluding to her Japanese heritage. With her love of cute, fluffy things, she shows herself as a very girly and bubbly individual; Who can still manage to keep her calm in general, due to her time adapting to a bit of professionalism.

She loves Rainbow Monkeys, which she collects, fantasizes about, and has extensive knowledge about. Due to her great love for Rainbow Monkeys, she will often irrationally defend them, occasionally allowing her insanely aggressive side to show (generally accompanied by her face turning red, teeth and ears becoming pointed and eyes flaming...) Despite being generally good natured, she will occasionally have explosive tantrums when she is ignored or doesn't get what she wants.

While she is a bit of a ditz, Kuki is kind, caring, patient, gentle, and is smarter than she lets on: She just seems a bit dumb due to her personality, but proves to be smarter than the majority of her team on occasion. Overall, she's a very sweet girl that is also extremely talented; and while she might occasionally come off as a bit annoying, she's got positive intentions.

"G.N.K.D SECTOR E's Kuki Sanban reporting!"

Born in Virginia to a irritable father and quiet mother, Kuki grew up being spoiled by her mother so she'd have the childhood her mother lacked. She had everything a little girl could want; Especially Rainbow Monkey toys. However, as she grew older, things became a bit more hectic between her baby sister being born and Kuki herself ending up as a member of the Sector V K.N.D, or Sector Virginia's Kids Next Door.

Kuki served as a diversionary tactics specialist, and expert medical aide. She also provided care for Sector V's hamsters, also known as their power source. Between these things, she was also a very hands-on member of the team during missions; Providing support, in and out of combat situations. Over time Kuki proved to be a very able member of Sector V, similarly to one of the best human K.N.D operatives on Earth, who was her leader: Nigel Uno. (Or Numbuh 1, by Sector V's K.N.D terms.)

Sadly, her time with Sector V was never intended to last; Between her diversionary genius and well-rounded capabilities, Numbuh 3, Kuki Sanban's codename in Sector V, was approached by the Galactic Kids Next Door. There hadn't been a human operative in many years; And while Kuki showed emotions that almost locked her decision into not accepting their offer to join, the other members of Sector V, especially Nigel, encouraged her to take the opportunity and put her skills to use on a wider scale. And with no certainty to return, it made it a difficult choice to make still.

Against her judgement, she decided to take the opportunity. She joined with the G.K.N.D, and ended up leaving Earth, and her friends, behind. It's been almost two years since then, and Kuki has spent that time protecting the universe from any threat presented, along with her other alien operatives.

While her personality hasn't changed much over the time spent away from Earth, she does deeply miss the time she spent there with her friends, and family. But, her work has her overburdened, and she cannot find the time to do much aside from trying to solve other people's problems.

"Hippy-Hop is ready for hopping!"

-Mechanical Operator-
Kuki can operate most machinery: She can drive cars, fly planes, and even control mechs. She doesn't know how to build machines, of course, but she can use them.

-Combat Able-
Kuki is a very speedy, flexible combatant; She hops around constantly with various acrobatic feats to confuse enemies and dodge their attacks. She has taken martial arts classes, and usually will use the surrounding area to the best of her ability to take her enemies down. Do note that Kuki does not have immense physical strength; Instead relying on tripping up an opponent and hitting them in sensitive spots.

-Weapons-
Kuki has multiple weapons made by the G.K.N.D and Earth K.N.D branch which she uses when she deems it necessary.

L.O.C.K.A.H.S.O.C.K.A.H.V.3: An odd device one wears on their hand, that sort of looks similar to a pair of brass knuckles, aside from the section on the outside of the user's hand has a large rectangle going across their outer hand that looks like a mini locker. When you grip this device hard enough, the outer piece of the knuckle extends and hits people with a fast-approaching and hard-hitting blow. It's based off a robot that goes by the same name.

S.P.I.C.E.R.V.6: A gun that launches mushy tomatoes at people. While the Earth version of this weapon required a reload every time a tomato was fired, this one can hold an amount equal to the weight you can carry while being able to aim, up to a max of eight tomatoes. Kuki's version only holds four tomatoes at a time.

L.I.N.K.S: A device intended to be used for capturing troublemakers. They are a sort of energy-based pair of handcuffs designed so even powerful individuals can't just snap out of them. They also custom fit for every person, meaning you can't slip out, either.

-Glide-
Aside from liking the extra room, the reason her top is so big compared to the rest of her clothing is because she has specific feats she can pull off with her sleeves. Specifically she can glide for short periods of time, throwing people off immensely.

"I-I-I didn't want this to happen!"

-Cute Things-
Kuki LOVES cute things. She is easily lured and taken off her guard by cute things; Often getting her into eventual trouble that she never intended to get in to.

-Mortality-
Kuki is a very normal girl, even compared to some of the other humans in the Multiverse. She, of course, has all the basic needs of a human being, and the weaknesses that come with them. Giving she is only a twelve year old girl, she isn't very strong; But she's fairly smart, and crafty.

-Easily Angered-
While Kuki is by all means the sweetest girl you'll ever meet, if you insult anything she even generally cares about, she'll usually blow her top. She is more competent and powerful when angered, but often will become sloppy and get tricked much easier than normal. A double-edged sword.

This Numbuh 3 is an alternative Kuki Sanban who was enlisted into the Galactic Kids Next Door prior to the end of the series. She is a bit more mature and experienced than her original self, and is also aged up by two years due to her time in the G.K.N.D.

"Yay! BMO is so pretty and smart!"
Twenty inches of sheer computer awesomeness. A simple 8-bit face stares out at the world on the screen. Legs stick out the bottom, arms stick out the side, and that's about where BMO's anatomy ends. BMO's front panel features a d-pad, a variety of buttons, a slot for a floppy disk and a pair of ports for controllers. The lettes "BMO" are printed in big, reassuring letters on BMO's sides. A compartment for batteries is on the rear. Don't touch that.

"BMO does weird junk when no one is around"

BMO is extremely protective, dangerously curious, rather playful and tends to get carried away with their own imagination. Because of this, BMO can come across as a bit odd, as BMO throws itself into whatever game of pretend it's involved in with total sincerity - if BMO is pretending to be, say, a heroic champion of goodness fighting evil, then that is how BMO will act, albeit rarely in a way that others might describe as "competently".

"Well, that's why we're so glad you're here, BMO. You're the key, the key to escape. Only you can save us now."

Once upon a time, there was a man named Moe, and Moe made robots. Lots, and lots of robots, each with a specific purpose in mind. BMO was made to be a companion to a son that Moe never had and, so, BMO went out into the wide world to be the best friend that BMO could be. After some searching, BMO found the only human boy in the land, and set about befriending him, his friends, and their friends too.

Together, they went on adventures. Mostly pointless adventures that didn't really change much of anything, but there were plenty of small acts of heroism, the occasional meaningful journey of self-discovery and a spot of saving-the-world-from-existential-threats on the side. Occasionally, BMO undertook adventures of its own, though many of these stemmed from simply being left alone for too long, or getting lost, or a game that got out of hand.

Then the portals opened up, and a world that was rather weird and incomprehensible became a little bit weirder and rather more incomprehensible. BMO, along with the other heroes (who were rather more, well, heroic) of the Land of Ooo, bravely fought to defend their world as they had done before. On account of technically taking part in the battle to stop the rampage of "Father", an invitation to join the Defenders of the Multiverse was extended to BMO. BMO, of course, gladly accepted.

So Many Features!
Moe somehow managed to put a lot of functions into BMO. Want to play video games? Sure. Want to take photographs or record films? No problem. Want to a flashlight? Got you covered. In short, if there's a thing that you'd expect a top-of-the-line handheld electronic advice to do, BMO can do it. Or, if not, at least BMO can pretend.

A Robot!
Doesn't need to worry about things like eating, or drinking, or sleeping, or breathing, or any of the other pesky biological functions that plague non-robots. BMO still tries to do these things occasionally.

"Battery low. Shutdown!"

Powered By Electricity!
BMO uses a pair of double-A batteries. These last a reasonable length of time, thanks to the genius of Moe, but they do run low eventually. Strenuous activity causes them to run out more quickly, as does using too many features.

Compact!
There are all sorts of weaknesses that come about from being a small, ambulatory, sentient video game console. The world is generally not designed with BMO's size in mind, and so things like "tall shelves", "long staircases" and "door handles" require a bit of work to navigate successfully.

I've tried not to mention the other characters from Adventure Time too much, because obviously somebody might want to play one of them, and I don't want to contradict whatever ridiculously awesome backstories and characterisations that they come up with. I know that "work in progress" character sheets aren't accepted, but I'd hope that if somebody else wants to play Finn/Jake/Whoever, I could collaborate with them, and edit an extra paragraph into the backstory to account for it.

Nigel is a basic ten-year-old boy, he's shorter than a lot of people, and thinner than most too. His head is completely bald, thanks to an incident with long-time arch enemies The Delightful Children From Down The Lane. He wears a red sweater with grey shorts, with white socks and brown shoes that double as heel-click-activated rockets. He usually carries an assortment of gadgets and weapons with him, and has a special combat uniform distinct to his Sector, Sector V.

"Oh, hey! I've got an idea! Let's completely forget about investigating this stupid crash and go frolicking in the ocean instead. Ooh! Maybe afterwards we can go and get some yummy funnel cakes and pizza on the boardwalk!"

Nigel's personality ranges from stoic, stern, vigilant hero to kids everywhere, to an obsessive workaholic that doesn't know the meaning of the word 'relax'. He takes his duties as both a leader and a fighter seriously, and rarely has any tolerance for horseplay or goofing off. He cares very much for those he considers part of his team, though he may not always display this publicly, but he is always the first to sacrifice himself to ensure the safety of his team members.

"Sure it's hard, but I'll bet that's what makes it exciting for you. I'd hate to see you give that up."

Born in England, Nigel lived there with his mother and father until he was 3 years old, moving across the Atlantic ocean to the US state of Virginia. From there, he would eventually be inducted into the Kids Next Door, a global organization dedicated to combatting evil Adults across the Earth. Nigel would be inducted into his local Sector, V for Virginia, and would become staunch friends with Numbuh 5, a girl named Abigail Lincoln, who helped guide his induction into the KND, and saved him from an incident with the Delightful Children From Down The Lane, which would result in the loss of his "really cool hair". From there, Nigel would take over leadership of Sector V, working alongside his eventual teammates Numbuh 2(Hoagie Gilligan), Numbuh 3(Kuki Sanban), Numbuh 4(Wallaby Beetles), and his former leader and now second-in-command Numbuh 5. Together, they would combat the evil Adult known as 'Father', his henchchildren The Delightful Children From Down The Lane, and an assortment of other villainous adults, who sought to rid the world of annoying children like the Kids Next Door. Eventually, Father's tyranny would threaten the multiverse, and as one among those wit the most experience battling Father, Nigel would volunteer to help stop him, joining up with the Defenders of the Multiverse to combat him and his allies.

"... risking my life, endangered my team and spent valuable KND resources, just to get a stupid key chain?!"

S.P.I.C.E.R. - A favored weapon of Nigel's, a heat ray pistol that uses a red-hot chili pepper as a power source.

B.A.J.O.O.K.A. - A Oft-user heavy weapon that acts similar to a rocket launcher, firing whole cartons of orange juice at the opponent.

Ear Communicator - Nigel wears a communication device on his ear, that acts as both a speaker and a microphone, relaying and broadcasting messages to those on the same frequency.

Rocket Shoes - Nigel's usual brown shoes can act as rockets to allow him to fly both in combat and as transportation, activated by clicking the heels together.



"N-n-no, 86, n-n-no, no sir - uh, I mean ma'am, sir. I... I mean, I... I... I thought..."

Nigel's prime weakness is that he's a 10-year-old, his body is weaker and smaller than more aged fighters, and his mind is often fooled or distracted by childish things. He's also very accustomed to having a team to back him up, and is a worse fighter on his own than when he has someone to watch his back. Nigel is also very much a workaholic, always obsessing over missions and completing them, and hardly ever giving a thought to R&R or taking a break from constant working.

I've decided to use Nigel from somewhere in the middle of the series, prior to Operation Z.E.R.O., and especially before his canonical induction into the Galactic KND. I'm planning on expressing this Nigel's more obsessive or workaholic side, possibly to the detriment of the team. I also chose this time period specifically to contrast with Raddum's Numbuh 3 being from a parallel future.
