@Wildman13 Everything was conquered by the EOM, I can guarantee you that they made sure. The only exceptions are a few nebulas, namely those that the Kegran reside in.

I would also like to point out the 20% human population, which is fair in a CS sense, but this does mean that 20% is the top class of citizens. Meaning that they probably live in their own cities, and govern from there.

Which brings me to another point. How do you imagine the clan system as a working part of the Enpire? Surely such a volatile chain can hardly be trusted by the EOM. Why didn't they replace it?

The rest is fine, but these thing worry me.

@Legion02 Wanna be a Co-GM? Give depth to your words. As if they were mine :P

Especially now, I need a helpin hand. Quite literally. I nearly broke mine today, so it hurts like a bitch. In the meantime, I do want someone to help the people out in an offical manner. At leadt until Friday, when I hope I'll be able to type again with 2 hands again.

Also the reason that I appear grumpy :P

Okay I've finally got around to writing my post. Question, how will the Imperium react to a rouge 'accident' killing a large amount of humans?

Apart from mass genocide and ,like legion said, heavy taxes and a whole lotta money for compensation?

Probably more guards to avoid more "rouge" incidents.

@Liotrent@6slyboy6

Heres an idea. How about this dossier gets on the desk of the leader of the Black Sun? Since hes a spymaster and all.

An interesting idea, one that I'd like to think about. As of now I've been thinking about more, direct approaches, but I've given this idea a thought. You'll see my answer on Friday if things go well, so don't endulge in big affairs. Yet.

You have a point that the EOM would make sure that they would have secured everything, so it got me thinking how about this, The EOM turned the green planet of ram into a industrial world as most of the slaves are there, soon the once blue skies have now turned black, and the land no longer fertile, so farming is now useless, so if they got most of the surface under their control all of the remaining independent clans would retreat underground where they would be hidden from the EOM this would make sense as the only thing that can destroy them are the EOM's ships and a huge army.

I agree that the humans that are gonna live there is gonna segregate their cities from the barbaric Zenos also because they are gonna have lots of free labor and abundance of export that they make would in doubt make their cities economic juggernauts or prosperous.

The clan system only works for the independent clans that have survived to this day what I mean by empire are the old Rarian empires that once dominated the planet of Ram but as for the other slaves the ones that are in-charge of them are naturally their owners or the slavers that buy, sell and transports them to interested buyers as the Rarians enslaved or not will rather die than serve someone that haven't proven themselves.

I got a suggestion. You say the planet of Ram is very green and fertile. Not every planet needs to be turned into an industrial powerhouse. The empire requires food too. In fact, if it can easily man 2000 corvettes & destroyers with 15 people each, its probably consuming quite a few tonnes of food each day. So thinking as an Imperial Govenor: Why invest in factories when you can become a granary for the Empire?

The clans would be forced to pay a tithe to the humans living in the cities (let's act really xenophobic here and say they demand 90% of every harvest). The humans feel safe in their walled off cities and can act all high-and mighty about their civilian lives. While the hordes can hate them for practically taking their food.

Rebellion would be simple: first a few tribes in far away regions (like mountains or amazon-like rainforests) could seize sending a tithe. Patrols to demand the payement could get slaughtered and there you have it! Snowball effect. Other tribes rally to the cause, the conflict starts to escallate. Reïnforcements are called in from space (cause yk, the empire's food supply is at stake).

Again, just a mere suggestion.

I think that they would do that but I think exporting meat products and aqua-cultural products like lobsters would be much more profitable in terms of business.

Also most of the survivors were shipped off towards other worlds as slaves, like the rabbits who excels in maintain and working on the fields so they would mostly farm in plantations or regular farms while the much sturdier species would be more useful in mines and in hauling cargo.

The Rarians don't really care for food that much because they are not picky eaters, the only thing that matters to them is when is the next fight.

Seeing as the first wave of EOM soldiers where wiped out by the Rarians venturing into Rarian majority areas would be in no doubt be very unhealthy to the said person, and the only reason why the Rarians went underground in the first place is because of the EOM ships that wiped out their armies.

The Rarians were already ready to rebel in day one its just that the EOM ships are just too un-fair for them as the moment they rebel the EOM would just retreat back to their ships and from a safe distance gun them all down.

I liked your suggestion but it just that it isn't very Rarian for me. but seriously I liked it.

@Ozerath Well the Relicants will demand near-extermination of humanity for the many wrongs inflicted upon them. That and they are the very good example of a gentle race roused to war. If the Ashtar would keep the fact that they want to let humanity ascend and act like they want the same as the Relicants, they'll have an ally.

BTW, impotant news.

I kinda underestimated my hand injury, so it turns out that I have a broken wrist. Yeeeah, you guys use this time to co-operate cause when I'm fine again, I'll be coming back with two words on my mind: excessive force.

@WrongEndoftheRainbow Seems much WIP, too much to really cast a vote. Certainly interesting, but I need to see more history and culture to cast my vote.
