@ScarifarSame, though I've never been much of a fan of the anime in general. I remember it being kinda mediocre for me as a kid, but I dropped it around BW. I heard good things about XY though.

@Alder I don't blame you, the anime was bad for awhile. Sun and Moon is like a huge shot in the arm. Its got a different animation style and everything and its pretty solid and fun in comparison to the last two (B/W was AWFUL, X and Y was just boring.)

@Scarifar have you actually watched it or just saying that because the past few seasons have been horrid. If its the latter, thats understandable but Sun and Moon is in a really good spot. If former, thats ok too. But you gotta admit the new animations tyle makes soe of the pokemon super cute.

Also Sucy best char. Binged it a day or so ago after looking for a character pic. I can see why she has so much fan art. xD. Kinda reminds me a little of Prof Stein. Not as weird, more mischevious, but still just as fun. Also she kinda looks like a Mareanie. Just noticed that.

@Archmage MC I haven't actually watched it, tbh. I think I've just grown out of watching the show. The only interest I have about Pokemon at all is Pokemon Go, and even that's not much.

Still in this, but not 100% sure what I want out of my character atm. So far all I have on him is that he's an old man who smokes :/

I will say though that I'm not a fan of forced provisions of decklists. I'd rather actually be surprised by whatever hidden tech a player may want to chuck into their character's deck. I might be able to run through a few cards I was thinking of giving my char, and I can easily list what each of the customs does (I have them all in my head, but I haven't written any down yet), but I'd have no idea how much of each card I'd want at any point of time.

Try to make a deck or think of a deck archtype that syncs up well with the character idea you have in your head. Or do what I did and make a character based on a deck. xD.

@Ryougu Never saw it. And from the art I've seen and what I've heard, it doesn't sound all that interesting. Besides that pink bug girl looking thing that apparently spits acid. But from what I can tell shes a side char.

I mean, Farmer with Shotgun beats any of those people. And if Farmer with Shotgun is stronger than your whole superhero lineup, your not really superheroes.

Got anything you can tell me that'll get me interested? I'm pretty open to it if its super cute.

Boku no Hero Academia is pretty damn good too, can't wait for the rest of season 2 to come out.

Also, yeah, pkgo is pretty shit. Never mind the mechanics, they've completely removed all sense of balance and rarity with some unnecessary nerfs and increased spawn rate of certain types of Pokemon in events. They delayed and sometimes even failed to deliver some of their promises like Trading and generation 2 Pokemon. At this point, I'm putting money on the belief that they're just milking whatever money they still can from the game.

@Scarifar@Ryougu My only regret with pokemon go is not having 10k to invest into nintendo before it was released. You had a 1 week period to DOUBLE your investment. Thats quite a large chunk of change xD.

Oh, didn't know hero academy was dubbed. I might give it a watch later then. I just hope it doesn't make me facepalm too much. lol

It's kids wanting o be superheroes in a world where 80% of the population has superpowers called 'quirks', of course, the story follows the one kid without a quirk. Just take 20 minutes to watch the first episode, really. You should be able to tell you like it from there. (yes, I did not give the option to dislike it, because frankly, I'd need to go full 40K on that heresy (JK))

You forget the Dragon Ball dub, I've heard the Japanese voices and those are AWFUL. And hey, I've heard good things about the Boku no Hero Academia dub. (then again, many people who'd watch the dub have a poor judgement anyway)

I get most people probably don't like Goku's voice, but I think it fits him since he's an annoying shit anyhow. It's... Oddly charming?

also Vegeta is the best character in the entire show, especially now during Super...
