Lucas was up and noticed the smell of the food, causing his stomach to rumble. Grabbing a plate, and thanking their most generous host, he began to dig in. However, he soon found that the animal products, like the eggs and meats which he would normally enjoy, now repulsed him and churned his stomach, while the fruits and vegetables, which he normally ate just for a balanced diet and really didn't like that much, were now delicious and he couldn't get enough of. He chalked it up to being an elf thing, surmising that the elves may be vegetarians and that because he was now an elf, he could no longer eat meat or eggs.

Once he was done, he noticed the crates of weapons, armors, and clothes and began looking through them, guessing that their host gathered them for him and his friends. In the weapons crate he found a nice bow, though he didn't grab any arrows, he knew he wouldn't need them. Then from the other crates he grabbed a tunic and pants as well as a cloak. For protection, he grabbed some light chainmail to wear under his tunic, some bracers for his arms, and some boots, as well as a belt and a pouch. He left to find somewhere more private so he could change.

Naomi had eventually fallen asleep still in her sitting position her long dress and undergarments somehow making for a warm and comfortable sleep. While she'd slept.... or was it meditated she'd experienced odd visions. In these visions she was visited by her former teacher, Jackie Chan, and Jett Lee; all of them dressed in monk's robes but each of them had spoken to her of how she possessed knowledge and philosophy which might prove useful to the people of this world. She for her part had thought it all so odd and like she'd hallucinated to make up for the lack of a tv or her smartphone.

When she woke she felt refreshed and ready to run a marathon and none of the stiffness she'd expected because of her sleeping position and while the food smelled wonderful she didn't feel as hungry as she'd have thought she might considering it had been so long since her last real meal. She ate a small breakfast in silence and when she was finished she stepped outside remembering she needed to exercise.

She stepped out into the open ground and smoothly entered the first form of her Tai Chi forms which she used as her morning stretching routine. This morning she felt different as she performed the art. As she moved from one form to the next Naomi she felt her inner power grow, felt her muscles contract and expand, her senses focused internally correcting her chi points as she balanced the yin and yang of her being...she felt as if she were in heaven.

Odum had come back sweating to see that food has been served, noticing some were awake, he set his rifle on the table, and went over the table, and began to eat.

Tawny's eyes fluttered open, the previous day's events fresh in her mind. Sitting up to find herself in the last place she remembered, she took it as a confirmation that none of it was a dream. Even Ash was still beside her, and she stroked the canine's fur before getting to her feet and leaving the room. She seemed to have been the last one to rise, for the other two girls were already outside, and the boys were up and about as well. Her eyes widened slightly at the food on the table. Had Donny made them breakfast as well? How sweet.

"Good morning," she muttered, taking a seat near the food.

That was when she noticed the wooden crate beside her, and curiously reached inside to pick at the equipment it was filled with. "How did you get all these?"

She then suddenly pulled back, letting out a short hiss in pain as her hand ran over a very sharp tip. She reached in again, this time more carefully, and fished out the item that had cut her - a spear with a blade of an interesting shape. Something soft brushed against her leg while she had been admiring the weapon, and she glanced down to see that Ash had come out to find her. Smiling, she reached down to give the wolf another pat.

"Bandits. Wayward might not be on the map but we still get harassed by brigands and low lives trying to make an easy score. Fortunately, we have a bit of a militia, so they don't get off easy. I took these off their bodies, cleaned them up a bit. They're not great, but they're better then nothing." Donny yawned and took a bite out of a sausage. He grabbed a few links and tossed them to Ash to eat too. Normally he didn't abide by wolves (Whatever majestically they had is lost when you get attacked by a pack weekly), but Tawny's wolf seems calm enough. Though Donny wondered if it was legitimately tamed, or simply under some sort of spell to keep it docile.

"Anyways.... Sorry if this seems like a rush, but after you'r done eating and gearing up, we need to go. In good weather and with no trouble we should get to the city sometime tomorrow night, maybe tomorrow morning if we don't take breaks. That being said though.... The roads have been dangerous, more so with the war going on. Bandits and wolves aren't the only thing I'm worried about: some of the other folks have seen military patrols around the area. Not good. They might accost us for supplies or worse." Donny went into his room to put on his own travel gear. It wasn't as heavy and protective as his hunting leathers, but it was sturdy enough to survive the rigors of travel, and possibly combat. He also grabbed a new shield from the crate.

"Meet me by the wagon when you're ready. Oh. And if you want to wash up or something, there's a creek out in the back. Feel free to use any of the cloths to dry yourself."

"Thanks for all the hospitality, we appreciate it." Lucas said, bowing to Donny before heading out to inform Naomi that they were getting ready to leave. However, he was left mesmerized by her display of martial arts and stood there staring at her.

Naomi saw Lucas watching her from the corner of her eye as she continued her forms determined to continue even though she thought of chatting with him but in the end she felt the focus of her being waining so came to rest position then turned and smiled at him.

Tai Chi never felt better, I feel positively centered in the universe. So how do you feel this morning? she asked her amber eyes fixed on him her expression tranquil

Following from Donny's advice Lance hastily finished his breakfast. Upon doing so he once again staggered sleepily up to his feet before wondering back over to the equipment crate and table, setting his plate down. "Morning." he grumbled out to Tawny as he tried to force a smile his head still pounding. "Lets take a look here..." He says as he peers into the crate, hoping something would strike his interest. "Ah..." Seeing something he carefully navigates one hand to a swords grip, before freeing it from the crate. Once free enough he grabbed the larger grip with his second hand before bringing the long sword to rest tip against the ground. "More interesting then yesterdays, I think this'll suffice." He glanced over to the spear Tawny had picked out. "Interesting choice."

Reina let out a small sigh as she listened to the others she didn't do martial arts seeing as she spent most her time doing gymnastics and dancing along with her training to be a singer once she was either finished school or her father allowed her to become a singer before she was finished school.
"You guys perhaps we should discuss how we're going to get back home" Reina says as she didn't like going without modern things plus the small solar powered charger she had for her IPod and Wi-Fi headphones would need to get maintained by someone who knows what they are doing eventually and she refused to be without her music.

"Good, thanks." he said, walking over to her. "What about you?" he asked as he adjusted the bracers on his arms, and bow on his back, his hands quickly flicking over to his ears just to make sure they were still pointed, which they were.

1.75 meters long made of an odd dark red wood with a polished tone… and smelled faintly like a butcher shop and the smell got stronger when she performed Baton forms displaying her rank as Tireuse (Teacher level Savate Practicer)

I Found it in the smokehouse, it’s heavy, polished by use, oil soaked, heat treated, and aged; I love her. says Naomi with a giggle as she turns it over in 6 overhand spins that are almost too fast to see.

My Teacher had one like this but his smelled of fish.

It is proven it can stand under use, hard, heavy, flexible and fits my hand perfectly; I also find the scent oddly familiar…...my grandfather smoked mutton on his farm. then she stands the staff looking more like a hiking stick.

Odum had finished his food quickly, and went to Renia. She was clearly showing leadership traits, and from what he seemed, a little younger than him. "Do you really think were going to back home?" He asked, he didn't want to give the young lings false hope.

"Ah, I see. Interesting..." Tawny replied, returning to examining the spear after Donny's explanation.

Lance was the next to come over and rummage through the crate. He eventually managed take out a long sword, deciding to settle with it before he commented on the weapon in her own hands.

"Choice? I was actually just-" she then cut herself off after another glance at the spear, nodding as she decided there and then. "Yeah, you know what? I'll keep it."

She finished her breakfast soon after Donny gave out some instructions and went off to get ready for the trip. While everyone was either getting ready as well or discovering even more new things about themselves, she overheard the conversation between Reina and Odum about getting back home.

"Discuss? We've tried, and haven't the slightest clue how. Is that not why we're going to the city? To possibly get some answers?" She piped up as she began to help with the clearing up. She personally could not decide if the entire situation was more amazing or frustrating.

While she was getting set to go, something else in the crate caught her eye. She grabbed a long green cloak from the pile of items, shaking any dust off of it before pulling it over her shoulders. That should be able to keep her warm. With the spear slung over her back and Ash at her heel, she made her way out to the wagon to meet the rest.

"Well we were brought here with that temple so i'm guessing there's a way to reverse it" Reina says using logic to show that there was a reason she thought the way she did about being able to find a way home.

"That's pretty cool." Lucas said, his hand leaving his ears as he blushed slightly from her teasing. "It seems we're getting ready to leave."

"All the more reason to head to the city. Ain't no one know what that temple is for in the village. Maybe there's a scholar in the city that'll know. Lots of knowledgeable folks there, wizards and those types." Donny called out as he sat at the front of his wagon, waiting for everyone else to arrive. Daylight was burning out so once everyone was finished making preparations and chatting they'll head out.

I became an exchange student for the adventure of travel and you can't travel much farther than another dimension she adds with a giggle.

Lance reached into a crate a second time to fish out his chosen weapons sheath. He'd been listening in on the conversation about discussing how to get home. Deciding to not just mumble under his breath Lance decided to speak up as he continued to search for more viable gear. "Is there really any point to that now? We don't even know where or when we are. Kind of essential stuff to know before we can even think of that. Honestly, we're likely to be here for a long time. How we got here may of been a one way trip.".

Picking up a slightly battered helm Lance held it to the floor before stomping at the crooked face guard before the holding pin eventually gave breaking the main damaged section off. He glances into the opening curious as to whether it would indeed fit him. He eventually rummaged up a leather vest, gloves and leg guards, deciding to haul the lot to the wagon before trying to fit it all. "Once we know more maybe then we can talk about going home. Best now to keep moving." Lance shook his head at the thought once more of this conversation before leaving to head out to the wagon.

Naomi looks at Lucas as he moves closer her Amber eyes following his every move

I’ve toured in company and solitaire and while the later has its charms experiences are better shared than covenanted.

Where’s the fun in seeing a work of art through only your own eyes. No one to compare, agree, or debate its beauty with? she says as from the folds of her long dress she draws out an old leather pouch the size of a large Calzone which is closed by a metal zipper which she slides open and pulls out a pipe made of some sort of antler for the bowl, a slender S-curved stem ending in a dark wooden mouthpiece’ Its top is sealed by a wire catch and etched with a circle of odd symbols around an etched Pagan star.

She checks the bowl and adds a pinch of ground and cleaned smoke to it then lights it with her MY Little Pony cased Bic lighter. Soon the contents crackle as she draws in a deep breath before flipping the lid closed.

When she exhales it takes 3 seconds for her to expel all of the smoke turning with a sigh to Lucas.

I know; “What a bad Habit” but frankly it's better than pills for anxiety, depression, AD, and the plethora of other supposed ailments of youth

Then she gazes at Donny and the others wondering if they'll ever hit the road
