Unpopular opinions is actually surprisingly civil, there are disputes but when it comes to the 'edgy opinions' 90% of the time people dont even react to them.

I also point to buddha's LGBT and Teach Men not to Rape threads. Don't you think you should be focusing on these incidenary 'rant' threads if the 'hissy fits' are an issue for you? Or is there some special 'its only bad when dynamo does it' rule I'm not aware of?

I will concede that there are other thread/people who are as good as creating controversy and very heated discourse when it isn't necessary but the fact that you're muted on chat must be saying something no?

For example, was it really that hard to simply not call back to what I said in response to your comment about you wanting to more or less bash homestuck fans over the head with heavy blunt objects and then using it for no real reason when Bhudda brought up his own thing. Was it really that much of a stretch to think that I have both a life on site outside of this and related threads and a life outside the site?

Well chat is a bit of a diversion as not everyone uses chat, also that was one isolated incedent. Its not like I was banned 25 times over 12 months or something.

Obligatory side comment: Men's Rights Activists (MRAs) and Meninists are two completely different affiliations.

From what I'm aware of, MRAs are an actual movement that advocate for custody of children for men, more equal prison sentences, etc, etc. Meninists, however, are completely and entirely a joke. Literally. They were made to be a joke movement and despite Tumblr rants claiming otherwise, that's probably what they'll stay.
