Thanks! I've had an evening of quiet contemplation, swiss roll and pots of tea, and feel a bit better about things. I think I'd let my anxiousness get the better of me, and that started to bleed out into everything else, if that makes sense. Whereas, really, what I should be doing is taking the fact I've not scared off too many of you folks here and saying to myself "well, I can't be all that bad, right?", instead of going "I'm super nervous about some of my friends and now I ought to be nervous about everything".

...and it's quarter past midnight, I should get some sleep. As always, I will be about sporadically during the weekend. I hope everyone has a good weekend. Remember to drink tea!

I'd somehow managed to not watch How To Train Your Dragon for ages, and then one of the friends I live with found out and made me watch it. And, dang, it's fun, and kind of lovely too. It ticks the "oh god that's weirdly adorable" box, and it's got dragons.

Anyway - sleep! I am going to sleep and am not making late night/early morning purchases of films on Amazon. Nope, nope, nope.

Just because I realised after hitting the post button that it might lead to some confusion, the voice on the end of the phone is the same one as the previous post. I've put his speech in a different colour just so it's a bit clearer, even though I neglected to do it in the first one (whoops).

Plus, that's a nice shade of blue.

@Valoryou are aware that its been stated several times, to Vanessa, in character, that clothes will be provided. Elarin even specifically said this in the bridge when Vanessa mentioned getting a dress.

I am aware. I do read everything. I was going to have that specifically mentioned. I would also mention that they would likely not have a dress that would suit Vanessa's particular style taste. Ah, and Vanessa never verbally told anyone she would be getting or changing into a dress, that was Toony offering to make everyone dresses, and Elarin spoke to her, not Vanessa.

I am not an expert on parties*, but I am pretty sure you should have a pre-party dress, a party dress and a post-party dress.

*This might become painfully apparent when I begin to describe the party you are due to attend. I fully intend to do some research on "good" parties over the coming few days, but am likely to get distracted by something or other, but hopefully the fact this is an alien party will be enough to explain why the party I am describing bears no similarities to actual parties that actual people go to in order to have an actual good time.
