Righto, you're all roughly now close enough to board the hulk - how you get into it/where you go, what methods you employ, or whether you even get onto the hulk is up to you. I'll respond to what you write, so no worries there. If you think anything would be 'too far' etc then just ask me first.

@Jbcool I mentioned before the possibility of the ship Lucius is on using a drill to burrow into the Hulk on impact. Maybe it could be the case that, I don't know, a lot of the outer shell of the top half inexplicably turns into a drill? Or at least some portion of the top/front of the ship. And then something something gravity ensues, and all the people aboard who are still alive exit through the front when it blows off. Really, it's the drill suggestion that needs the go-ahead from you rather than anything else, and that can just be the ship ramming into the Hulk full-speed if needs must.

It's no more implausible than a Space Marine or a Death Star.

forgeworld.co.uk/en-CA/Caestus-Assault.. remembering this beast, i was reminded of another option to a drill.

This assault vessel is equipped with a melta weapon, which melts the impact point before striking it, weakening it enough so the force of the ship gets through the armour plating of enemy vessels.

So i suggest some sort of melta drill.

@Klomster Melta drill it is. Or maybe something to do with Warp energy, since that's a big thing with Chaos. Then again, Gellar fields, so perhaps just the melta drill.

How i usually do it in situations like that @Jbcool is that i first write the initial question.

Edit: Then later i realize the question has been answered, i put in a blue "Edit:" and just keep it as it was.

That way, i don't have to delete things i've spent time writing. True, that time wasn't very long.... but still.
