I can't give a prelude, exactly, but I can do the next best thing, which is a bit of a teaser for the person in charge of the in-story tournament and main plot point:

For those familiar with both Pokemon X/Y and the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, imagine what would happen if Diantha and Kaiba had a baby.

Actually, now that I think about it, it ought to effect Geartown as well. I also need to change the text to specify it can only be used with "Ancient Gear" continuous spells.

Geartown is a Field Spell, not a continuous spell, so don't worry about it.

I know that, but a common tactic in Ancient Gears is blowing up Geartown, so I was going to add that in. Though again, thinking about it, that's a Special Summon of a ancient gear, and a ancient gear card to the hand, so I ought to not do that. I am gonna fix the text about it only being Ancient Gear spells, though.

Regardless, these cards won't give me a huge advantage; If anything, I might not even use them, because I'm pretty attached to the decklist I already have. I'm enjoying fiddling around with Yugioh Card Maker again, though. xDD

Which is frankly OP, that's literally 1 card away from an instant chaos giant. And that one card is any AG creature that will probably already be in your hand.

Looks good to me, though you could probably add the Graveyard recovery effect back on, since it doesn't target itself anymore.
