"Good evening ma'am. Hmm, you look new here as well," Garsin commented. "Well, that's peculiar. To be honest, This is the most new people I have ever seen arrive in only one day before."

[Naoto]
"Ahh, well good. Wouldn't catch me dead in something like that!" Naoto smiled after the talk about the armor, "No offense, of course. Just doesn't suit my style... like these ghastly whine gowns everyone's wearing." he added with a slight shrug. Another woman started walking up too us with a wave. Garsin already replied, while Kassy behind me started to wander off towards the direction of the sleeping quarters. "Hey wait, where are you going?" Naoto spun, calling to her as she walked away. "Just... sleep." she muttered, but continued walking. Naoto grabbed the back of his head and shrugged it off, turning his attention back to the people he was currently with.

"Hmm, that is interesting Garsin. Think it's a coincidence? What kind of people does this facility 'hire' anyway? So far I haven't been able to piece it all together quiet well. The only thing the group of us have in common so far was the attack upstairs... I'd call it fate, if I were a religious man." Naoto asked Garsin, folding his arms and looking up to him as he spoke. Naoto then turned to the woman that had waved just a moment before, "What's your name? Naoto, Tokyo Police, by the way." he spoke in Japenese as usual, hoping she would understand him, while offering his hand. "With all these greetings today, my hand might just come off." he added in a smile.

[Kassy]
As Kassy walked away from the group, she only glanced back once to see them talking, and no longer paying attention to her. She had already looked at the map and memorized where the rooms where. But, once she got there... she had no idea which one she was supposed to sleep in. She looked at some placards next to the doors, and saw names on them. Eventually she came across one placard that had no name on it. Kassy walked closer to it, until it flashed a bright-blue color. It blinked a few times, getting faster and faster, until it was a solid white-again. Then, her name appeared on the placard in bold black letters. Guess... this is my room then.... she thought to herself, before entering.

"Good evening," Audrey said with a nod at the man who had addressed her. "Yes, I only got here a couple hours ago. I am Dr. Fukio's new assistant." She turned to the police officer Naoto and shook his outstretched hand. "Pleased to meet you, I'm Audrey," she replied back with a smile, also in Japanese. She was glad that her college had insisted that science majors learned the language, even though at the time she was annoyed that she would likely never use it. Thankfully she had been wrong. "You were all involved in the attack?" she asked the group.

"Yes." Naoto said to Bela after shaking her hand and taking a respectful step back. "As unfortunate as it was..." he then added, looking around for anyone else that had been there during the attack. It was only him, Audrey, and Garsin. "Oh, well I guess that just makes me." he then added after he discovered he had been abandoned by everyone already. "So, I guess we're all in this boat together then. By the way... good luck with that 'Fukio' person. He wasn't real happy upstairs, and I'm sure he wouldn't be any happier if he caught you talking to those that destroyed his festival or whatever it was." Naoto then added a nod to Audrey. He turned on his hands to Garsin and added another nod to him. "Good night." he said, looking at both of them before turning around and leaving them to go find his own room. "Uh..." he then said to himself, before turning and looking at Garsin. "Where do we stay?"

"Right over here," Garsin started to lead them over to the barracks. Garsin's room was the first one in the men's section. "Most of these rooms are still open, so the first one to claim it gets it," he said, jerking a thumb at the other rooms. "I'm gonna get changed, I'll be headed to get some food here in a moment. Gotta get there early if you want it fresh." When Garsin opened his door, the smell of wood spilled into the hall. the inside of his room looked like a cozy wood cabin. from what could be seen through the door, there was at least a fireplace, a small bookshelf filled with various books and knik-knacks , and a few comfortable chairs surrounding the fireplace. He closed the door though before a wandering eye could see all the finer details of the house.

"Hmm, from what I have seen of Fukio so far, I'd say you're right. I'll have to be cautious when he is around," Audrey replied to Naoto. She yawned as she followed Garsin led them to the barracks. It was getting rather late, and she was quite tired after her long flight and then drive here earlier. She caught a glimpse of the highly decorated interior of his room before Garsin shut the door. A wooden cabin underground? she wondered. "Alright, well goodnight," Audrey said to Naoto with a polite bow before heading towards the women's dorms.

After a few minutes she found an empty room. Inside was quite plain, but it had plenty of space for her to reorganize later if she wanted. For now though she just grabbed a book out of her bag, deciding to read before going to bed. But her mind kept wandering back to the attack and the bizzare things that she had learned in the short time she was here. This whole place is strange, she thought to herself. Maybe this will all make more sense in the morning.

Garsin got changed into some khaki cargo pants a white undershirt. He then threw on a dark red button up shirt and rolled the sleeves up just below the elbow, and left the shirt untucked. He then lit the fire and sat back in his chair for a moment. There was a newspaper on the side table next to him between the two chairs and he decided to take a look. Upon flipping it open, he saw just exactly why that large group came in today. "No wonder the old codger is upset, Audrey has her hands full there." He lit his pipe as he finished the article of the strange occurrences. He then set the paper down and picked up a tablet that had the news for the people who stayed in this facility. It normally covered the same material but with less mystery about it. While the regular newspaper just saw chaos, the news on the tablet had everything down in detail. Normally, Garsin used to not receive regular newspapers until he requested it. He liked the ability to flip through real paper and see how the news came to the common person. Plus...he did enjoy a cartoon or two. He sat up and set the tablet back on the side table. He knew he wanted to talk to the bossman before, but with this new attack, it seemed like they would have a lot more to discuss.

Garsin shut the door to his room behind him and heard the door automatically lock behind him. He went left down the hall and turned right at the next hallway. He passed the lab hall and stopped at a door on his left marked "Branton's office". He then knocked on the door with two quick knocks and waited for the boss's reply.

<Garsin>:
As you started to go into your room, Naoto nodded slightly, and went off towards his own room.

Once you arrived outside Branton's office, and gave it a firm knock, his voice was heard barely audible from behind the door, "Come in!" then the door clicked and unlocked. Inside the room was Mr. Branton himself, sitting behind the desk, fiddling with his computer. Behind him were big wide open windows, letting the dark moonlight shine in from the outside world. It appeared as if you were at the top of a skyscraper, but you knew better.

"Sorry about the lack of a mess, I decided to clean up the office a little bit." Branton said too you as he swiveled in his chair, motioning the lack of anything other than his desk and windows inside the massive room. "Got a little carried away. Now that I think about it, I think actually like it. Tell me Garsin, do you like it, or do you prefer it the old way?" he said, continuing to swivel in his chair even after he decided to rest his hands. He then stopped, pushing a button on his desk and clearing off the holographic computer and mouse, leaving it spotless except for a single spec of dust. "So, what brings you here today? Does it happen to relate to what happened upstairs, and with these new recruits?"

"Oh, you didn't have to do all this just for me! I'm touched, really," Garsin started jokingly, "Though, with a room so clean of anything it's hard to prove that you actually do anything now, hahah!" He then actually considered the room for a moment. "Hmm, a little TOO sterile if you ask me. Maybe needs a bookshelf, a putting green and uh," he looked in front of the desk, "another chair maybe."

His face then took a more serious form as he started to confirm with the bossman why he was here. "Yes, actually. First of all, just the sheer number of people coming in was surprising. Most of them weren't like me though, they aren't the people who could just disappear without anyone really noticing. And that creature that attacked, it was different then what we normally have seen before, wasn't it?" he let the inquiry hang a bit before he got to his main question. "Are we thinking about deploying soon? And if so, odds are we will be running into members of other factions with their own goals. What would we do then?"

<Garsin>:
Branton listened closely as you asked your questions, nodding with each individual one. "Yes, I do realize none of them are like you. In fact, all of them will have a problem disappearing... quiet a big problem actually. They all still have warrants for them. I lied too them about fixing it, I had to. They wouldn't have come, and would have been taken into custody. And we need more people like them. Like you." he said, waving his arms out towards you as he mentioned you.

"The creature, yes. We've seen a few like that before... but haven't ever truly dealt with them. They usually just appear, sniff around for a little while, then disappear. We know these beasts are strong, and have power beyond our knowledge... but this newest one was the strongest we've seen yet." he said, his face starting to turn grim with his words. The room changed too, to match his mood. The windows behind him started to darken, until they faded away completely, to reveal the regular wall behind him.

He listened too your last question, and leaned backwards to think about an answer. He seemed to forget about it for a second, when he pulled up his computer through his desk, looked at it, then sent it away again. "It appears so. There is another 'faction', to use your own word, that I've been talking with recently. They have kept themselves underground for a long time, however. But they plan on surfacing soon, to push us out of the way." he said, turning away from you to look at his blank wall, turning it back into a window that revealed Waseda University from the perspective of a hidden camera somewhere. "Deployment is inevitable. How do you feel about getting back into the field? As the team leader of this new group of trainees?" he asked, turning back around to look at you for your answer, as the window faded away again. He knew your answer already, though.

"Training for the new recruits starts tomorrow, Dr. Fukio has already sent me a schedule for their training tomorrow. It would do them good to have you there to show them the ins and outs. They'll be woken up early to be shown Fukio's lab and handed their gear, they'll meet you in training room Zelta when they're finished."

Garsin rubbed the back of his neck. "I dunno, Bossman, you know how I feel about being a leader," he started, but then grinned widely, "But if it means hitting the field, I'd be glad too." Its not that he entirely disagreed with being the leader. After all he had more experience out of the group. However, being a leader and the medic can sometimes conflict interests. He pushed the matter to the side though. After their training, he would probably be more confident with it and his team, as well as have someone he could rely on as second in command.

<Garsin>:
Mr. Bossman smiled as you agreed to be the leader of the new group, and stood up to show you the door. "Thank you Garsin, I'm glad we had this talk. Now, I suggest you head off to sleep... after your retrieve that one in the lunch hall. I'm afraid if you don't stop him, we'll be out of food before the morning! He'll also need his sleep for training tomorrow." he said, walking around his desk as it retracted into the ground. "No, stay desk." he yelled back at the desk, freezing it, before it slowly came back up as if it were a dog hanging it's head with shame. He reached for your shoulder to put a hand on it to show you too the door, but quickly gave up and held his hands behind his back as he walked you out.

After leaving the office, Garsin made his way to the lunch hall and, again, had too stoop through the doors a bit to enter. He saw a man enjoying what seemed to be one of many plates of food in front of him, with a stack of empty plates already forming. The man was quite large and muscular, though not as tall and built as Garsin was. However, with training, his strength would grow as well and unfortunately, his appetite, as Garsin had come to personally know.

He walked up to introduce himself, "Hey, you must be with that new group that arrived today. My name is Garsin."

Kristof had been shoveling sweet delicious morsels into his gullet left and right. Thank the heavens all of it was for free! Most of the other people in the cafeteria had long backed away from the man. While his fourth dimensional powers of taste and smell had been stripped away in sector Zelta that did not deter him. In fact, it was as if every meal was new to him yet again, not having eaten without his improved taste-buds in quite some time.

Just as he finishes his seventh pork bun a hand is placed upon his shoulder. Swiftly turning about Kristof comes face-to-face with a man of middling years and powerful stature. "Aha! A man of my own kind!" the strongman stands up, speaking with his mouth slightly full as well as in broken Japanese, outstretching his hand for a mighty shake, "Glad to meet you Mister Garsin, you may know me as Kristof Brandt! And that is correct, they've taken us against our will as it were." With a hearty chuckle Kristof gestures for Garsin to sit down with him and partake in the feast.

"Ah yes, I've heard of your troupe before, nothing but good things of coarse," he took the invitation to sit down. "I'm afraid I've never had the chance to see it in person, however." He grabbed a plate that he saw had some smothered fried chicken, buttered peas and corn and a biscuit. Garsin's family was from South Carolina, but moved to Japan when he was little because of his father's work. "Now this is a meal that brings back some memories," he said. He then started eating his meal and then responded to how Kristof said they were taken against their will. "I'm pretty sure you had the option to stay if you would have liked. But I'm also fairly certain that this place is a lot more comfortable and accommodating then that of a jail cell," he commented with a short laugh. "Though I can't say that a jail cell would have been entirely fitting after all of you just saved everybody at that little tech show Fukio throws every year."

edit: Chatter continued, and more plates of food fell victim to the two men. After a long talk and full bellies they retired to their rooms for the night. The cooks at the food hall are still trying to recover.

{Sector Zelta}

Approximately eight to ten hours later

Dr. Fukui was up early, and already in his lab. He had the whole day planned out for these new recruits. "I'll make it hard on them for destroying my work!" he chuckled to himself, before hitting a single button on his keyboard. He leaned back, kicking his legs up onto the desk while he waited for the early birds to catch the worm.

[Naoto]
A buzzer appeared out of the side-table sitting next to Naoto's bed, which hadn't been there before. It beeped loudly several times, before Naoto decided to smash it. Upon hand contact it shocked him a tiny bit, and made a 'Tsk tsk tsk' back at him. "Wakey wakey! Training starts now! Meet at my lab in thirty minutes!" the barked with a recorded voice of Fukui. Naoto groaned, and tried to roll back in his bed, but the bed quickly bounced him off and retracted into the wall before it could catch him. "Ooof!" he bumped into the ground where the bed was. "Wa- where'd the bed go?" he asked himself, scratching his head as he looked back at the wall. It appeared as if the bed was never there.

[Kassy]
Kassy opened her eyes, and looked at a clock slowly rising out of a side-table. She leaned up and stood up just before it went off, gently pushing the button on the top. "Wakey wakey! Training starts now! Meet at my lab in thirty minutes!" the recording message growled with the irritating voice of an annoyed Fukui. The clock slid back into the side-table, disappearing entirely. Kassy even opened the door to reveal it hadn't disappeared inside of it... Odd.

<Kristof>:
An annoying little buzzer went off beside you, coming from a tiny little alarm clock that appeared to be way to small to make such noise. "Wakey wakey! Training starts now! Meet at my lab in thirty minutes!" the voice of Fukui went off. It sounded like a prerecorded message, but who knows. Maybe he likes calling out each of his trainees, giving them a personalized message to greet the wonderful morning. Has the sun risen yet? Maybe not... but who knows? The alarm clock didn't have any sort of time on it.

<Garsin>:
Your alarm clock went off, notifying you it was an early day for training. This was usual for Dr. Fukui... if he disliked the trainee. Before, when you were part of team Alpha, you were allowed to sleep as long as you wanted. Apparently his mood for you... or possibly your new team members... has changed. "Wake up Mr. Garsin. Training time! It's time to get your team back in tip-top shape. Be ready for them in an hour at the training rooms."

<Audrey>:
Your alarm clock in your room went off, buzzing with an annoying sound. "Training starts for the trainees in thirty minutes. Be ready and in my lab by then." the alarm clock said with Dr. Fukui's prerecorded voice.

Audrey sat up, dazed with sleep still. Where is that awful sound coming from? Looking around, she located a small little alarm that looked like it could retract into the side table when not in use. Sighing, she hopped out of bed onto her feet and quickly got dressed, wanting to get some breakfast before training started. Maybe today everything would get cleared up and start making sense. And then she could begin researching too.

Grabbing her lab coat off the back off her door as she left, Audrey made her way to the cafeteria room. The cooks were dashing around like the scientists last night. Wonder what exactly happened here, Audrey wondered. Maybe the whole facility is like this? Shrugging, she grabbed a small plate of fruit to take with her to eat on the way to the lab. She didn't want to hang around and risk being late on her first real day here.

Finally reaching the corridor to all the lab rooms, Audrey winced slightly as her 4th Sight came back on as she turned into the laboratory. It looked like she was the first one there out of the new recruits, and there weren't many researchers either. For now she decided to wander around and look at all the scientific equipment in the room until everyone else got there.

Awaking early was nothing new to the strongman, however this alarm was particularly irritating. Kristof stood rather feebly before fiddling around with the constantly buzzing machine. At last he was able to turn the infernal thing off which slowly dissipated into the stand, just about the same time as his bed. Looking about at the frankly barren room he speaks aloud to himself, "This place could really use some sprucing up, another time."

"Well, can't train on an empty stomach!" He chuckles heartily before wandering off into the stark halls. "Now which way was the cafeteria?" In a repeat of events yesterday the muscled man is unable to find his direction, wandering through many similar corridors before finally reaching the cafeteria, plenty of time wasted.

Entering the food room, as he likes to call it, many of the attendants here seem to look on in apprehension, or perhaps fear? Axel wonders to himself before realizing that he is probably going to be late takes a light snack. Leaving the cafeteria hurriedly an entire turkey underneath an arm he completely forgets about the signs that point out directions, whoops!

Garsin got up out of bed and made some eggs in his own apartment. It was small and comfortable. It had one bedroom, with a bathroom attached, a small living room and a kitchen. the kitchen and living room being separated only by a short bar with a a couple stools. First he placed the ham on the skillet which started to sizzle and pop. Then he place the four eggs over it and started to scramble them. While still unfinished, he added cheese, crushed bacon bits that he had left over from a previous breakfast, salt and pepper. He then continued to mix and scramble the eggs till they were fully cooked but still soft and moist. An overall great breakfast to start the day. Anyone around his door could probably hear and smell him cooking in there.

He then geared up, grabbed a jug of water and a jug of his home-made sweet tea, and walked out his door to go to the training room where he'll meet the group after Dr. Fukui was finished with them.

<Audrey>:
"Ah, nice of you to show up Audrey. Help me set up these weapons for the others." Dr. Fukui said, carrying various weapons and pieces of armor off of a shelf, and setting them on the retractable table in the center of the room. One he was carrying went off just as he was passing the training room, hitting the dummy set up in the room and knocking it over with a powerful blast. "Oops, forgot to turn that one off." he said, setting the things he was carrying on the table and turning the safety on the one gun.

"The other's should be here soon. When they arrive, we'll let them pick out what best suits them." he said, picking up another weapon. It looked like a baton stick, with a big red button on the bottom. He aimed at the reset dummy in the other room, pushed the button, and smiled as sparks came lashing out at the target. "Some still need a little work though..." he said, as he rapidly pushed the button in an attempt to stop it, which it did after a nice ten clicks.

[Kassy]
Kassy walks into the lab just after all the weapons, gadgets, and armor pieces are laid out on the table. She looks around for anyone else, but just walks in. After walking in, her control over the fourth dimensional energy reappeared, much heavier than when they had entered Sector Zelta originally. She step back out to have them return, stepping back in, then out, then in again. "I don't think I could get used to this." she mumbled to herself, continuing in again. She looked at Dr. Fukui mumbling to himself past the set of glass and glass doors, inaudible due to the glass between them.
