The Illusion magic:
clones: they look like him but they just are a image designed to catch an opponent of guard. (twice per battle)
Invisibility: for one minute, Adus can cloak himself but the if he moves quickly you might see him as it distorts whatever is behind him.(once per battle)
Attacks:
Lightning bolt:he can shoot a lightning bolt in an arch 10 ft in front of him. It sends a painful but non lethal jolt to the enemy(like a magic taser.(3 times per battle)

To recharge these:he needs to prepare them(which takes five turn to do so.)

his sword can also send out a freezing blast which can immobilize a limb on a target. (once per battle can't be replenished inside of a battle.)

Better. So your illusions are visual, alright you said they are images. Do they move? Are they stationary? Do they mimic the characters action? A stationary object will probably not fool many, even low powered characters can discern an illusion fairly quickly.

Your invisibility, what's a minute in textual combat? How many posts would that be?

A magic taser, good. Range should be greater, 20' is a good midrange distance. Gives you room to breath. Anyone who has fought me, @DJAtomika and @Crazy Scion, will tell you a lot of bad things happen in a 10' distance.

yup, 10 feet is poking distance for a swordsman: a single step forwards, and you're in range for a pretty solid strike. not to mention such pesky things as pikes or spears.

in regards to the freezing - does it encase one's limb in ice, or lower the temperature enough to disable it by freezing the body itself?

@VordakEncase it in ice for 3 posts unless it is smashed off or melts.
@Skallagrim They move around they mimic what the character does and follows the casters orders. , but if they are attacked, they turn into a smoke/ mist substance. (invisibility) well lets say instead of real time how about 5 posts.(lighting) And 20 feet it is... because being poked doesn't sound awful good.

You need to add the illusory descriptors then to explain it so your opponent doesn't have to guess. Five posts combined works, although it will be negoiated with your opponent prior to a match if they feel its too long.

4. Are we limited sticky to human/humanoid fighters? Amongst one concept I have is an amorphous character who is akin to Arakune from the blazblue series, but giving up his Curse ability for greater defensive ability and agility. Not quite a stonewall in the sense he's nothing but defense, but neither is he a fragile speedster in that he can't take a hit, but fast and durable at the price of lowering his overall damage output. Also the fact he's a shapeless, amorphous being. Can't exactly grab his nonexistent arm or decapitate his nonresistant neck.

Nope, though we do lack those sort of characters. I think Skall had a dragon for the Continuum.

It is terribly difficult for me to find inspiration to write this post, as well as find inspiration to start either of my RPs.

Well, Dead Man's isn't in the cards, despite it being the only complete RP I have saved.

Cant think of a good plot for Allaria, or Rising Stars.

The best cure for writers block is to simply stop writing and take a break for awhile. Reading, gaming, or movies are nice ways to find some inspiration again.

I have on good authority getting high is another good method. But I wouldn't recommend it. >.>

In that case you may be suffering form some mild depression. :P

Either way, if your having a hard time getting it off the ground. That's not a good sign generally. It's going to feel like a chore if you do start it and that's never good.

Which is why I ain't forcing it. But no, no depression. son's doing well. 13 pounds now, and 23 inches. Had a good job interview just an hour so ago.

So nope, no depression. Just none sound good to be when I write it out.

The only thing that sounds good to write, at the moment, is Dyayun.

And that's because I wanted to make him a dirty boxer with some type of magic to increase his power.
