Watching his response, Xavier wondered what's REALLY going on with him. "Yeah...you may be right but last time I check, your last name was the same as mine. You get into some shit, you have ones here that can pull you out of it." Watching his grim expression, Xavier just became more curious. "Ok..........and what was that reason? You don't have to be afraid to tell me...." He said placing the plate of pizza back down seeing that Jack was not eating yet. He placed his hands into the pockets of his hoodie waiting to see what Jack tells him.

"So was that what attacked you before you fought that weird looking ghoul? Was that why you didn't tell anyone what you were doing?" Sitting back "Lemme tell you somethin'....whatever kind of crazy, stupid shit you about to get into, don't do it alone. You have a new family now and do you know how we would feel if you get yourself killed for selfish reasons when you don't have to do all that..." pulling out some gum "So what exactly was it?"

Xavier's eyebrow raised "The hell is a Skin walker?" Xavier never heard of them before, wondering what kind of supernatural they may be.

"I do what I can." Dimitri retorted as he watched Damien dig into his food. Dimitri mulled over the idea of having to look further into the ghoul issue and gave a small sigh at the idea of more work being piled on top of the nightly patrols. "Guess it can't be helped. I still wanna know why whoever did this chose ghouls of all things. I mean, there are plenty of other fast breeding creatures. Wendigos spread like rabbits thanks to that bite of theirs, and they're smart enough to follow orders so long as you give 'em fresh meat." Dimitri stated while opened up a cabinet to fetch his own plate and a fork, meanwhile Brutus trotted into the kitchen and promptly sat in front of Izzy, having long since learned that most of the males in the house weren't nearly as likely to give up food if he gave them the puppy dog look. Dimitri ladled a healthy bit of alfredo onto his plate and gave a pointed stare at his dog, "Cut the shit Brutus, you know you can't have table food. I'm raising a hunting dog, not a lardass.". Brutus' ears swiveled in Dimitri's direction, a clear indication that he'd heard what was said, however the pup stayed planted and began to whine softly and paw at Izzy's feet in an effort to ramp up the cuteness factor to get both a treat and Dimitri off of his back.

Krystoff had come to for a bit, groaning to himself. He'd listened to the conversation long enough and the sweet smell of pizza had finally floated down the long hall to the infirmary. He needed sustenance in the worst way. He pulled the IV out of his arm and sat up, taping a square of guaze against the hole. "That's gonna sting tomorrow..." he murmured, then looked back at Jack and Xavier. "Skinwalkers are bad news Jack, you should have said something before all this." Krystoff had studied the Blackwell histories extensively, as well as any bestiaries they had collected from other Slayers. The Blackwell bestiary was a huge text, made by Malthias's ancestors and added to by himself and his adoptive children. If memory served Krystoff right, as it always did, there was a small description of Skinwalkers in the very comprehensive book.

Sighing and grimacing, Krystoff took off his ruined pants and pulled on a spare set of sweatpants he had stored behind a cabinet. He had hideyholes all over the houses, ranging in clothes, money and fake passports, as well as weapons. Many of his siblings called him paranoid, but tonight proved that someone was personally trying to kill them. It had been a long night though and Krystoff had nothing left in the tank. "You should talk to Dimi, Jack. You're not alone in this." He patted his kid brother's head and nodded to Xavier. "Glad you're okay kid. And you, get some food for yourself too!" Krystoff grinned as he took the plate X had gotten him and the X's own slice, quickly walking away before his brother could say anything. He was already chowing down even as he went towards the kitchen, looking for more.

When he got in, Krystoff laughed at the word lard-ass, getting the chuckle past a mouthful of pizza. He winked at the dog and took a small bit of meat off his slice and showed mercy, throwing the treat to the dog. "Thanks for the pizza, Dimi. It hits the spot! But did you get soda?"

@WittyWolfJack looked to krys and told him"I had my reasons for not telling you all I was going to knock skinwalker skulls together, End.Of.Story"

Izzy crossed her legs, and thought to herself for a bit at Dimitri's comment about the ghouls. "My guess is that whoever was controlling them, IF they were being controlled at all, was after something at the docks" she said. For someone to use ghouls, it must have been important, but the idea of someone feeding them bad intel was not far off either. "However, your idea of someone giving out bad information is also a possibility Damien. It's possible that IF there was a person behind this, they bred the ghouls hoping they'd listen to their newfound master, but lost control of the situation. They called the order hoping to they would take care of it, not revealing THEY were the ones who bred the ghouls of course, and decided to let the order handle it allowing them to get off without suspicion. Maybe even get a chance to try it again." In the midst of her thought, she was interrupted by Dimitri's dog who seemed to be giving puppy dog eyes in order to get food.

She smiled, and let out a small chuckle at the dog's attempt to win her over with the sad eyes routine. She reached out and patted Brutus on his head after hearing Dimitri shout at him. "Sorry Brutus, you know I can't give you any food"

After her fulfillment of playing her guitar and eating pizza, Alexi came out of her room and lit a cigarette walking back to the dining area where her siblings were at. She looked out the window quietly. Watching the rain as it begins to pour.

Jack thought back to the moment when his best friend was slaughtered right in front of him by skin walkers, as he thought if this, his hands became tight fists that appeared to posses a grip to grind steel into powder, his expression grew more grim by the second.

Xavier watched as Krys finally came too and spoke about how Skin walkers were bad news before he grabbed the pizza X brought for him. When being told that he should eat as well, X shrugged it off as Krys went to get some more. Yeah X did not eat yet but he was too busy watching after Jack but since he seemed alright now, Xavier stood "Alright Jack I'll ask him or just look it up myself. But....we will talk more about this skin walker thing and how we can help with that situation. Eat up and rest, man. Do you need another slice?" he asked getting ready to head down to the kitchen to get something to eat. There was that ghoul breeding thing too, he was sure that the others were trying to figure it out.

While walking down the hall he passed Alexi as she lit a cig. X looked on "Alexi you got your lighter on you? You aight?" Walking into the kitchen where the others were at.

Damian almost choked on the his slice pizza at Dimitri's mention of super-charged wendigos, He placed the rest of the slice on the plate in front of him and pushed it away. "Great now I've lost my appetite. Thanks you sadist." He sighed. "If we do go off the whole someone made these theory, My guess is that ghouls were easier to use as test. They're vicious enough to be dangerous amped up and in numbers, but easy enough to kill should they get out of hand." As usual Izzy had a firm grasp on all the possibilities her ideas were sound and definitely made the situation even more curious. "So we've got the possibility of bad intel in hopes of getting us killed or cleaning up after some experiment gone wrong, Something important is possibly at the docks that our mystery person may have been having the ghouls search for there, and the possibility that not only can we expect to see more of these things but that may potentially lead to the same thing being done to nastier creatures." He leaned back in his chair and groaned. "Why can't we have normal people problems?" In all seriousness this was a troubling situation, the kind the big-wigs in the order probably should be aware of, but with Mathias doing his usual disappearing act contacting them without him would be unwise. Many in the order still looked down on them because of their, unusual circumstance.

Krystoff choked down a third slice of pizza, listening intently. "I think we're missing one possibility. Maybe whatever or whoever is causing this already close to the docks? It could have the nearest and most convenient location to dump their batch of experiments. It's isolated enough that civilians wouldn't be hurt, even if we Slayers went to exterminate them." Krystoff guzzled a glass of water, feeling like he couldn't get enough. Azoth always had a funny effect on him after using Devil's Fang. Something of its energy always had an oddly lingering effect. "So what's the next move, honestly? Do we investigate or do we call Malthias and hope that he finally does something for us instead of god knows what, for once?" The last came out slightly bitter. They rarely saw their adoptive father, and when they did it was a fleeting greeting and possible debriefing of their numbers since the last visit.

"Either way, if this keeps up, we're gonna need help. Maybe it's time to call in some of the out-of-towners and get some more hands and firepower behind our little brigade?" Krystoff suggested, between large bites of pizza. As he finished the slice, he wiped his hands with a napkin and dropped it onto his plate. "But we have more of a personal problem... Jack is taking whatever happened to him pretty personally. I'm a little nervous at he'll do if he does find a pack of Skinwalkers, by himself." Krystoff filled the last statement with unmistakable emphasis.

Damian leaned back in his seat. "That's a good point Krys. We're definitely going to want to keep the docks as a point of interest, and keep some eyes on it. As for calling for back up..." He gazed out the kitchen window and watched the rain fall. "We should investigate it ourselves for now. At least until we have an idea of who or what we're dealing with. Without Mathias we can't go to the other cells with just theories, they already think we're illegitimate we don't want to give them anymore reasons to doubt us." A heaved a small sigh. "And Krys you're going to have to cut the old man some slack, I don't like his absences any more than you do, but we owe him a lot. The least we can do is trust that he has his reasons for being gone."

"As for Jack... On account of him almost dying tonight and the fact he's a lead on our ghoul situation, I will not slug him for being stupid." Damian said gripping his fist together. "He is 13 years old for Christ sake! He knows damn well he should not have been alone tonight." He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He's not the only one of us with a personal vendetta and he needs to stop acting like it. Starting tonight We're tightening his leash otherwise he's going to end up getting himself killed."

Izzy folded her arms as she pondered the situation for a bit. "Damien is right. Besides if we call in for help now, it might scare off our mystery person" She said begrudgingly. "That being said, you would think the order we put our lives on the line for would be more willing to help us. it shouldn't matter whether or not we're official slayers" she said. While she loved the idea of calling for backup, especially from the order they had done so much work for since they were kids. Even if their affiliation with the order was somewhat complicated, she had always wondered why they were treated as outcasts. "It's frustrating that he's gone so much I know Krystoff, but he has his reasons. We just have to deal with it, as for Jack" she said as she ran her fingers through her hair in frustration.

She always knew he was a very solitary person, even around his siblings. For him to almost get himself killed over a personal grudge worried the girl. "Just don't be too hard on him. The more you tighten that leash, the more he's going to pull away" She said. "And now if everything is settled, I'm going to take a shower, and turn in for the night, I think I've sat in enough ghoul's blood to last a lifetime" She said as she got off the couch with a stretch as she headed for the bathroom.

Alexi turned and looked at X "Yeah.." she said softly, handing him her lighter. "And well, I almost died today. What if I didn't make it." She looked a bit depressed. "You know I've had problems all through out my life, all of you guys do." She shook her head. "but I digress, the real issue is, I've been having those night terrors again, the ones that effect me really badly. I know you remember those days I locked myself in my room. Well I'm going through the same thing now""

Jack layed back down, he let his thoughts run freely through his head

maybe they're right, maybe I can't do it alone,sure I might die, but what if they do as well?

Slowly after that thought ran through his mind, jack drifted of into sleep.

Xavier grabbed the lighter from Alexi as he pulled out a black n' mild that was in a plastic wrap and opened it up "Thanks....I shouldn't be smoking but....with all the stress going on....I need it." he said lighting it up. X listened to what was on Alexi's mind and silently looked at her. Taking a hit or two, "Yeah I heard you nearly died and I blame myself for being late and not joining you guys in the fight against the ghouls. Things could've been different if I was there. And....let's just say I'm glad you didn't die. Otherwise, there's no telling what we'd do if we lost you or any of the others tonight." Tapping some of the ash off his black, he took another hit. "Yeah...I'm well aware of the problems you've had in the past and besides tonight, you've given us a few scares before. Are you reliving the trauma of your childhood again since you nearly died tonight? Is that the cause of you having night terrors again and bringing about depression?" He asked concerned because those days when Alexi locked herself away, X and his siblings were thinking she was trying to commit suicide or something since she never answers when she locks herself away. and...not to mention, she can mean as hell in that state. Last time, the only one who could talk to her without her lashing out and get her out the room was Izzy. He thought about when Alexi used to have therapy but did not know if she wanted to go that route again. It sorta helped her get over the night terrors but temporarily.
