@ClocktowerEchosThe majority of my soldiers are effectively Stormtroopers so I am not sure if that's right.
But yeah, this is a division focusing on breakthrough power and advancing deep into the enemy territory quick.
Yllendthyr delibrately focuses their better equipment to these units so they can concentrate their powers real quick and efficiently.

anyways, I think I'll write up a quick CS for my commander and then we'll get on to the locations of our troops I guess

As for my tanks, use the inspirations behind them:

The light tank is a m24 chaffe
the mid tank is a m4 sherman
the heavy tank is a churchill
the SPG is a T95

Well, my heavy tank is more like a King Tiger or IS-2 in power.
Albeit my Feredyr tank destroyers have no chance to penetrate the front armor of your heavy tanks. Maybe it works on the medium tanks especially if these are early type Shermans.
As for mine, I upped the front armor protection of the later Arqwyen tanks to 50mm. That combined with the sloped design may give them medium-ish protection from the front but otherwise it's vulnerable as always.
Though be careful of my firepower.
33mm autocannons on 600RPM can be quite devastating anything not armored up sufficiently. But I think your nation has intimate experience of those from the last Yamatai-Yllendthyr War.

@ClocktowerEchosI know you recently upgraded to level 5 procrastinator (I suppose? What was your previous rank?) but what do you think about starting the game?
Sure, there are still details to be filled out by both of us but I think we trust each other that we won't change our army makeup in the midst of the game.
I am pretty sure both of us mostly knows what kind of troops and equipment we're going to use.
Drawing starting location and such could be good but you have no image editor for now so I am satisfied by just pure descriptive elements during the IC.
What do you think? Shall we give it a go or do you need something to prepare first?

We can go for now, can you just repost the map? I might be able to make very simple formations using Word.

As of now, you can say how your troops are gearing up as mine are sort of mulling about.

@ClocktowerEchosI haven't made an iC post yet because I was busy with other RPs (I have 4-5 others) and because I tried but failed to come up with a better map.
Can't we just go with whatever feels natural?
Say, one player describes a hill, there's a hill. You mention a river, my tanks need to cross it.
And so on. This is a friendly match so abuses are no concern, I hope.
What do you think?
There's a point for strategizing but I simply can't find the time and resources to pull up a detailed map or anything along those lines.

Yeah, that sounds something I can do.
I guess we'll eventually have simple map, something like we had before with square and rectangles on the map.

Well, the newest is my nerfed flying bombs.
Rocket propulsion even the one which uses two stages limits the range to 80km. It's also made slower, around 500MPH. On the other hand my missiles are also smaller because I realized rockets allow me to make them shorter.
Another thing you should know that my flying bombs are of course not on top speed from the beginning. It takes roughly 27-33 seconds and 3.6-4.5 kilometers of continuous acceleration for that to happen.
So if you can get close, you have a better chance intercepting them. They're also have very limited capabilities to correct their course so if you were to get close to them the wind of your approach would be enough to make them nosedive. You also don't need to worry about AA fire in the direction where the rockets are at for obvious reasons.
So yeah, there are means.
Mind it most of these exist for even my current cruise missiles. The real difference is the reduced range due to the rocket design.
But my current cruise missiles are traveling at the breakneck speed of 640MPH instead of the 500MPH of my recently nerfed version. On the other hand they're also bigger targets and may take longer to accelerate to top speed (13.5 kilometers after launch at optimum by my calculations) so perhaps that sits better with you.
It also worth noting that no matter which version I use I won't just spam 300 of them at once. They'd be a sustained assault.
Also like I said jamming the radar beam or preventing my FOs on ground or in the air to spot targets for my airships is a possibility.
