I'm pretty sure that when you apply a city over a terrain, it overrides the regiment points for that terrain. So for example your Capital only gives 30 regiment points, etc.

Yup, this is true.

Yes but he then didn't count the unmodified province total. It's a bit of a mess his territory selection. He went 1 Medium city + 1 forest if you get what I mean.

@SpartanDoesAcid: Sorry, but you don't have the Orc race, as such you can't have a unit of Orcs.

Hello there, folks! I'm stating my intent to create a Cho-Ja centric nation and I'd like to kick things off with a quick question.Could traits such as heavily armored or various other things of that nature refer to natural armor (or weapons, as the case may be)? For example, I intended to have a heavily carapaced/exoskeletoned soldier caste who would shun all but padding (for fear of maces and warpicks and the like) and simple ornamentation in terms of protection and dress, respectively.

Strictly speaking no, but the Cho-ja along with the other "Insectoid" races do in fact have natural armour of that sort.

Hey Kad, Seeing as it's 500 years since history has started to be recorded.I assume the Date would look something like: 500 PC (Post Cataclysm?)500 PC Year of the Stag. :PVote for it nowz ppl.

Most nations would probably keep their own time, but "Post Cataclysm" fits well enough as a baseline.

Alright, I think I fixed all of the military errors (I don't know how I figured that 1 regiment=1,000 troops, too much Europa Universalis) and modified the territories a bit. I think all the huge mistakes are fixed. Inform me if you see any other inaccuracies, given how bad I did it the first time there probably is one.

Your territory points now total 99, totally fine there. You've correctly calculated your Regiment Points at 182. By my count, you've currently got 179 RP worth of army, so you could grab another Experienced Aviani or Raptorian unit if you want it. You have 45 (or 46 if Kadaeux lets us round up) points to spend on command units, and by my count you've only used 39, so you could get a Hero of the Realm or a couple more Commanders if you feel like it. Air force is an even 45 points used, no issues there. No monsters or navy, but that's not a mistake judging by your zero monster traits and lack of coastal provinces.

The only true mistake I saw was equivalent to a minor typo: you listed your 30 Regiments of Raptorian Infantry as being 3,600 men at full strength, but your total count at the bottom isn't miscalculated. I figure you just missed changing that number when you went and fixed stuff, no big deal.

Ok. You'll have to forgive me for this, but....

*leaves dramatic moment for people to think i've cancelled it*

Can anyone who's sheet is done, but not on the first post, PM me the "permalink" to your sheet for review and acceptance (or feedback for correction)

It's just a little bit easier on me. IRL keeps distracting me the last two days and today so I've lost a bit of track as to who needed it.

That works then, also exactly what trait provides spells like dispel magic or banish summoned things, stuff you might see in the Abjuration school of magic. I know Force magic would be pulling things, pushing and minor telepathy (moving things with mind) and of course barriers.

Speaking of which do any of the traits act like conjuration? Like summoning things, seems Golem is the closest fit.

All mages, regardless of their power, have some degree of ability to dispel magic proportional to the spell they're trying to stop. (As such a single mage trying to stop an Archmage from using a spell beyond the mages own ability will likely fail.)

As for conjuration no, even Golem Creation doesn't quite fit as the mage has to actually make the golem and then imbue it with the artificial life, but not independence of thought, that golems possess.

Of which,

An apprentice can manage 5 Golems
An mage can manage 10
Archmage 20.
Liches and Vampires use Archmage and Mage counts respectively, but have better quality.

Hmm, so there's no conjuration really among the traits of magic? Interesting, considering in RL that's probably the most known thing ppl say witches do, conjure up demons and devils. :P

I'm guessin holy magic can count as unholy magic though?

On this world Daemons, Devils and Celestials come and go as they please. I mean ... REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED unless you REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED, you know what I mean?

So yes, there is no conjuration magic.

Holy Magic can count as Unholy.

Probably for the best, aside from summoning grease, fog, and webs, it also holds the domain of transporting ppl not just objects. :P

Time to switch my wording for 'holy' magic then.

My uni decided a hacking attempt from outside the country meant they should lock huge swathes of Durham students out of the internet for a few days, finally got it back and will be working on my sheet once more.
