<OOC>
<Chat>

He who fights with monsters should look to it
that he himself does not become a monster.
And when you gaze long into an abyss
the abyss also gazes into you.

- Friedrich Nietzsche
"Beyond Good and Evil" (1886)

Post-op, cybernetic implant surgery...

Instructions
- Please post your character here, using the template below.
- All other posts are to go to the OOC thread. Thank you. :)

Please be sure to consider why your character fights -- from the perspective of a mercenary, because they want access to the bleeding edge of tech, because they're a thrill seeker or because they're vengeful. I feel like a diversity of viewpoints will be fun.

Also, the characters are vampire hunters, not a paramilitary. They may have military or police backgrounds...or they might be mixed martial artists or something entirely not combatant, like a hacking or cyberwarfare specialist or an accomplished burglar. The guys providing the implanted tech are looking for people to enhance with talents above and beyond the normal cut of humanity.

What I don't want is muscle-headed tank type characters; I want a more nuanced RP. If you've seen Johnny Mnemonic, you know what happens to Dolph Lundgren's character, so let's not be Dolph Lundgren's character. By the same token, if you've read William Gibson's Neuromancer, you know the deadliest characters aren't the biggest ones, but rather the genetically cloned ninja and Molly, who is cybernetically modified in a very subtle fashion so she isn't as apparent as what he derisively calls "muscleboys. These are, after all, not front line soldiers so much as hitmen -- some may use military methods, but in the mold of special operations forces, that use swiftness, surprise and skill to achieve their goals. In the case of the characters, they are not part of a government agency -- they may well get on the wanted list sooner or later. It's something to consider.

Character Sheet (Template Here)

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Ethnicity/Nationality:

Physical Description:
It's probably best to actually describe the character if you are going to rely on a picture, or you can do without the picture if you like, but definitely describe.

Skillset:
Talents one has either naturally or through education or training of some sort.

History:
Explain how your character got there -- no 'the story will come out in RP' lines, please -- I want a feel for where your character is coming from. Feel free to work up names and places and so forth. Be sure to mention arrests or feuds and debts and the such.

Psychological Profile:
An idea of how the character thinks and so forth; should be linked to the history.

Modifications:Gene-therapy, biological (vat-grown organs) and cybernetic implants of various sorts -- please make sure to describe the capabilities. Also consider the necessity of networking technology and the likes in coordinating your characters together; they're probably wired up to the nth degree. The entries already filled out are the implants that come automatically to any agent of the Aspidas. The extremity of further implants is up to you. You are encouraged to think out of the box and in terms of what gives your character the maximum edge for their skillset.
-
- Communications suite, HUD and neural-computer, all standard issue -- Aspidas agents are able to text by thinking it among each other on a heavily encrypted wireless network. In fact, the computer works off brain impulses and is easily one of the most sophisticated and useful implants they have; what's more, its capabilities have yet to be fully exploited. The downside of this implant is that it includes a cortex bomb with an anti-tampering device. A captured agent can set it off, destroying the hardware inside, or a signal from control can do the same. This is to prevent the enemy from learning the capabilities of implanted agents.
- Internal air supply and aerial toxin filter -- this also has the added advantage of making the agent immune to vampire pheromones, as some types of vampires are known to use this to seduce their prey.
- Blood/liquid toxin filter -- the obvious is at work here -- vampires use their blood as a means of controlling mortals, and this system (and everyone, even non field agents, in the Aspidas organization have this implant) screens out one of most subtle weapons a vampire has, rendering them functionally immune to being controlled through ingested blood the way mortal thralls of a vampire might be.
- Eye augmentation; a HUD showing all sorts of system data, such as the status of implants, as well as allowing for low-light and ultra-sound modes of vision, the latter being thought to be more effective than thermographics when dealing with vampires, who tend to run cold if they haven't fed lately.
- Hearing Amplification, including low and high frequency sound ranges, along with balance augmentation.
-
-
-
-
-
-

Equipment: Please give a list; if you have questions about the setting's tech level, feel free to raise concerns -- the firearms tech is probably a combination of conventional ammunition weapons and various types of energy or magnetic type weapons with a very limited ammo supply and therefore are not practical as standard infantry weapons, they are heavier and bulkier than unaugmented humans can manage, and thus tend to be mounted on vehicles. However, augmentation means that Aspidas agents can handle these weapons. The typical standard-issue firearm is, for example, a highly refined version of what we use now, and the Aspidas probably refines it a little further with different materials and ammunition types and trigger systems. There are a bunch of miniaturized options for explosives and guidance, as well as UAV control and other types of tech; optical mimetic camouflage, for example, is on the table. Try to think out of the box when it comes to construction materials, recoil compensation, ammunition and so forth. Aspidas is also spending a lot of money on nonlethal options, like gas weapons, EMP and neural stunners, or things like active denial systems, because they anticipate having to settle down innocent humans, such as police forces, being used as pawns by the vampires. Some analysts are predicting that the vampires will use human thralls as cannon fodder in a fight, similar to the way they use influenced humans to subvert governments, and have spent time pondering how to neutralize these humans -- assuming, of course, that the field agents are interested in merely incapacitating the pawns of the Eternal.

Name: Elizabeth "X-1" Jones (her full actual name is 'project X Trial 1 Prototype Number 2')
Age: appears to be 26, but is a mere eight years old.
Gender: No gender but has a feminine appearance
Ethnicity/Nationality: Robot. She has no nationality, but picked up a slight British accent from her 'father'

Physical Description:

Skillset:
Master Hacker: Knows the in and out of most computer systems, and has a few tricks up her sleeves when it comes to getting around any security measures they may have.
Natural Stealth: Especially sneaky. Can even run silently. Knows how to stick to the shadows and keep out of sight. With enough time and resources she could take down a small battalion by herself.
Master hand-to-hand combatant: Knows every little pressure point and weak spot of both the vampire and human body. She could kill a man with a single punch.
Vampiric Attunement: Knows all that anyone could know about the vampires. History, physiology, the likes.
History:
I was born in the lab
raised in the lab
worked in the lab
escaped the lab
I am not human
I am an android
built to kill vampires.

Elizabeth, or Project X-1, as said was created in a high security top secret facility. She was raised like a human as she has a very advanced A.I positronic brain. She was mostly tested on to see how she would react to different things. For eight years of her life she only met five people. This facility was visited by Aspida at one point, and they showed keen interest in her creation. Even though the head scientist of her program highly objected to her being used for senseless combat, Aspida pretty much took over the project, turning her into a vampire killing machine. She was outfitted with weaponry and programmed to have a horrid hatred towards any vampire. They also gave her everything they knew about the vampires. After she was done, Aspida added her to their ranks, since they created her, they could shut her down if she didn't obey orders and went AWOL. Or that's what they think.

Psychological Profile:
Has the mind of a preteen. Curious, inqusitive, and a thirst for social interaction. Whenever she sees a vampire her whole body screams at her to destroy it.

Modifications:
she has no modifications. she is a robotic human.
Steel Muscles: Her muscles are metal, and not only make her stronger than your basic vampire, they are also tougher than human muscle.
Pulsar Manipulation Systems: A flight system. Allows for slow falling and minor flight.
High Falls: has high power springs in her 'high heels' allowing her to fall up to 150 feet undamaged. Just as long as she lands on her feet.
Remote Access: Can access a computer wirelessly to hack into it from a virtual copy of her system
Basic communications suite. Has her own HUD though.
Specialized HUD: Has her own Heads Up Display, outfitted with a infrared scanner.
Equipment:
- Retracting Ultra-High carbon-steel claws laced with silver specks.
- Has intense UV lights on her palms that give off enough ultra violet energy to give a human cancer in a matter of fifteen minutes of constant shine. This of course fries vampires, but she can only use it for so long. Less than fifteen minutes in fact.
- Her wrist has a hidden blade made of a honed silver alloy that doesn't dull as fast as regular silver.
- A large Bowie knife.
- Has a small pistol equipped with silver rounds, and with three clips full, and five extra bullets. All of these are in a belt she acquired while escaping the lab.

name: Cade Vexis
age: 22
gender: male
ethnicity: Spanish/native American
physical description: Cade stands at 6'1 and has a muscular build. He weighs 225 pounds and has two cybernetic arms. He has short brown hair and green eyes. He rarely shaves and constantly has a shadow of a beard but never anything more. He is usually found wearing class 3 body armor and UCP utilities. He wears a mask that is designed for both practical and intimidation purposes. He also has tattoos on his chest, back, and shoulder. The tattoo on his chest is an upside down pentagram with runes at each point of the star. The tattoo on his back is a black cross of david with a six at the three points on the bottom. The tattoo on his shoulder is a tribal Gemini sign. If he takes his mask off he also has a scar that comes up his cheek to his nose.
HIS MASK:
skillset:
Marksman- Cade was a good shot before joining the military and they only improved upon his natural skill. He can use any firearm that he finds with utmost precision shooting at an expert level easily.
Favoritism- Cade has two favorite weapons one is an m4 carbine and the other is a 12 gauge Remington 870 MCS shotgun. If he has either of these weapons in hand he is a precise and deadly shooter. He has used both of these weapons to the extent that they are a part of him ingrained into his core.
Hand to hand- He has had military teachings in hand to hand combat as well as CQC with knives and other weapons. He is proficient but does not specialize in this type of combat.
Motion- Cade was born naturally colorblind. He cannot see any colors other than black and white and shades of grey. While many see this as a disadvantage Cade can see motion better because of this disability. It also improves his night vision not that it needs to his mask does that for him.
History: Cade was born to a poor family and was an only child both parents were drug addicts, however he made it through school to get into college. In college he joined an ROTC program and eventually enlisted in the military after he graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. He could have been anything he wanted but he chose to be a ground and pounder and hit the front lines. After the first year he was dishonorably discharged for killing an entire family who he said "were not human they butchered my men and drank their blood". The military deemed him unstable and had him transported back stateside and put into psychiatric evaluation. Aspidas found him and gave him a pace seeing that they could use his particular skills. Now he is a field agent and does his job as best he can.
psychological profile: Cade is unstable. He has witnessed war crimes, poverty, and even seen his brothers in arms ripped to pieces in front of him. On top of that when he reported it no one believed him and he was put into a treatment facility. He has become antisocial and something of a sociopath. He has masochistic tendencies but is also calculating and decisive. He hates vampires and the military both and wants nothing more than the extermination of the vampire race.
modifications:
-Communications suite, HUD and neural-computer, all standard issue -- Aspidas agents are able to text by thinking it among each other on a heavily encrypted wireless network.

- Hearing Amplification, including low and high frequency sound ranges, along with balance augmentation.
-Neural Rewiring, neurons in the brain upgraded with fiber-optics to allow for faster transmission of thoughts and information, allowing him to react and think faster than a normal person.Improves his reaction speed significantly.
-cybernetic arms, both of cades arms have been replaced with robotic ones. These replacements are stronger, can withstand extreme impact, and as a bonus surprise both have blades that can extend from the wrist and elbow. Each has a 36 inch long silver edged titanium bade that can be extended and retracted from the top of the wrist. Also both have a 12 inch long blade off the same construction that can be retracted and extended from the elbow.
- His entire chest cavity has been enhanced to receive hardened impact as well as having been modified to heal itself.
-His entire body's muscular system has been enhanced with fiber so that his muscles can hold up to the stress of his augmentations.
-His spinal cord is made of an indestructible metal that allows him to support his enhancements.
-in his blood there is NANO technology that can heal wounds to an extent. However if put under to much stress then the NANOS fail and shut down until he is back to healthy status. This comes with a drawback as well. They cause his body constant duress to an extent and if he exerts himself to much he coughs blood and takes internal damage. The silver lining is that given time the NANO can fix even this damage.
equipment:
-mask: Cade has a mask that was designed to improve his combat effectiveness. It still displays his internal hud but also allows him to cycle between vision modes. He can see in thermal, night vision, normal(he is colorblind), and infared. The mask also allows his lungs a constant stream of oxygen even in combat making him extremely hard to tire out however he cannot survive more than 36 hours without the mask. It being made of a dense titanium alloy also has the added benefit of protecting his face.
-M4 carbine: A standard issue M4 although with his own custom paint job added to it. It has a telescoping stock with flip up sights and a red dot. He carries six magazines one in the weapon and five more in a pouch. All magazines are loaded with silver ammunition and have a white skull painted on them except one which has normal ammo and no skull on it.
- 870 MCS: He also carries a shortened version of the 870 on a sling. He carries special dragons breath rounds and fragmentation rounds and about 30 shells at a time.
He carries two magazines of Extremely unique ammunition for his M4. both contain specialized UV tracer rounds that upon impact with a surface make a miniaturized burst of UV light. However if the round penetrates a vampire it detonates inside exposing their organs to UV light as well as taking bullet damage.

Name: Daniel Albert
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Ethnicity/Nationality: United States
Physical Description:

Despite his extensive augmentation, Daniel passes for human and humanoid, albeit at a greater height and significantly greater weight than he would have had if he'd been able to grow up with all his limbs. Currently, he stands at about six feet tall, weighing in at something around three hundred and sixty pounds, mostly from the extensive cybernetic implants he's had put in; that includes both arms, both legs, reinforcement of his skeleton with nano-woven muscle and subdermal armoring. His arms and legs are both obvious mods and he is forced to wear long sleeved shirts and full pants when moving around in public. His eyes, however, are the most disturbing element of the man; up close, they show the platinum and electrum microcircuitry woven into the iris that reveal them as something not natural, womb-born human. He tends to wear contact lenses, which tend to actually help with the situation, as well as, ironically, nonprescription glasses that help draw the attention of others away from his eyes.

Skillset:

Intense concentration to any task at hand – having survived maiming to the degree that he was rendered deaf-mute-blind and then came back from a traumatic experience, he has impressive willpower. He has gone through all sorts of training within Aspida, starting with academic study of law enforcement and military techniques, the practices of private security, information on vampires and their capabilities, with a particular emphasis on their psychology and societal structure. Once he was given his implants and was able to use them, he then turned his impressive adaptability to learning a variety of combat techniques, and turned out to be a particularly excellent sniper. He has no formal background or certification, but that's the point – he is a blank file. Because his grandfather is the famous neurosurgeon Dr. Michael Kelly, Daniel has a pretty good working knowledge of the fundamentals of cybersurgery, albeit as a subject.

One of his instructors was a man by the name of Alexi Kozlov, a veteran of the Russian GRU Spetsnaz. Daniel's training in things related to combat, intelligence gathering and infiltration/sabotage, come from this man.

His role in Aspida is as something of a generalist -- his augmentations favor heavy combat, but not at the expense of mobility and other methods. Because Daniel was physically destroyed, his reconstruction was, by necessity, extensive and the opportunities to enhance were accordingly widespread.

History

Daniel is the son of FBI agent Mark and Diane Albert; growing up in suburban Virginia, he had a pretty good and normal life, along with his older sister, Rebecca. In her junior year of high school, Rebecca, who'd been popular and attractive, became embroiled in a relationship with an intense young man named Richard who seemed to have more money than any seventeen year old should, and was extremely sophisticated-- they met at a house party one night. Bored with high school boys and marking time until she went to Columbia, Rebecca was at first very interested, though her father, Mark, started to intervene when she seemed distraught. In the end, taking her father's advice, because it was good advice, she broke it off with Richard.

Richard didn't take the rejection well. The stalking started.

Mark was, at first, pissed, that some punkass would fuck with an FBI agent's daughter, and used contacts and resources to put feelers out on one Richard Mullen, only to find that the boy's parents were very wealthy and very lawyered up. Then, one day, the Mullens, en masse, moved out of the area, and the Albert family breathed a sigh of relief.

Then, that same night, Richard broke in the house, tearing through Mark like he wasn't there, despite being a veteran of the Hostage Rescue Team and the Counterterror Division; Diane was butchered. Daniel, being a boy of imagination and wit, had a suspicion of what Richard was, perhaps having watched the Lost Boys one too many times...he tried to stake Richard with a chair leg. He missed the heart by inches, but enraged the vampire.

For that, Richard explained to him, he would be left alive as a warning to those who could understand the message; do not, ever, fuck with the Eternal. Others that would attack them merely needed to see Daniel's mangled body and understand the price of such chutzpah. Daniel was ripped limb from limb, but tourniquets were applied, as was a gag, and left there to watch helplessly, in and out of consciousness, while Richard went on a tirade about rejection and his rights and the primacy of the Eternal over their cattle, how he would have made Rebecca his queen but that she preferred 'ogres' and 'trash,' scorning his gifts. And then he drained her dry, otherwise intact.

Daniel wasn't even really all there at that point, gagged as he was, as Richard went to work – he ripped out the eyes, destroyed the ears and left Daniel alive, but only just. He even called 911.

The murder of an FBI agent's family was shocking and made news coverage all over America, as did the unbelievable state of the survivor – a myriad of theories flew around network TV until the next outrage, about two days later, and then Daniel Albert was forgotten by all...except for Dr. Michael Kelly, noted neurosurgeon and father to the late Diane Albert.

Aspida didn't approach Daniel, they approached Michael Kelly. They gave the doctor the evidence, and made an incredible offer – they had an ambitious project, but they wanted one of the best neurosurgeons in the world. The evidence was interesting, but Michael Kelly was more sold on the restoration of his grandson.

He signed on with Aspida, engineering the quiet disappearance of himself and his maimed grandson.

Through Dr. Kelly's contacts, also high flying, absolutely brilliant researchers and doctors, Aspida recruited from the best biosciences people in the world in a way they never had before. The time of retribution had finally come. Daniel was one of the first subjects, and often had priority on the useful and interesting implants through the offices of his grandfather. Others would receive similar implants to what Daniel had, or implants based on data that came out of Daniel's use of these implants. The Project exceeded the mandate -- the idea was to put individual humans into the same weight class of the vampires. The team that Dr. Kelly assembled was pushing well beyond that envelope in ways that the older Aspida types, the ones who financed it, assembled it and organized it, weren't quite able to envision. But it wasn't their job to envision it -- it was their job to fund it.

Richard Mullen made it all possible. And that's why he would be the first kill. It was part of the deal.

Psychological Profile:

Daniel has undergone constant PTSD treatment – he was a wreck when they finally installed some form of communication implants in him and restored his hearing and sight first. While there has been immense progress and a focus on regaining what was lost and then exceeding those parameters, there is always the trauma of what he endured at the hands of a vampire. He has seen what those things can do, and while the therapy and implants have given him back a degree of self confidence, he still does not truly believe that he has been brought up to a level where he can engage these things and win. He fights against himself on this.

Daniel is a bit off socially – his company has been medical doctors, nurses, researchers and other assorted old (usually white) guys from Aspida. He has had limited contact with groups from other socio-economic strata as a result, and certainly hasn't had a normal childhood. On the other hand, he can drive a car, use the subway, book a hotel room, order breakfast and otherwise function in society, so the rest will have to come later – he's functional.

Modifications:

- Communications suite, HUD and neural-computer, all standard issue -- Aspida agents are able to text by thinking it among each other on a heavily encrypted wireless network.
- Blood/liquid toxin filter -- the obvious is at work here -- vampires use their blood as a means of controlling mortals, and this system (and everyone, even non field agents, in the Aspida organization have this implant) screens out one of most subtle weapons a vampire has, rendering them functionally immune to being controlled through ingested blood the way mortal thralls of a vampire might be.
- Wired Reflexes - One of the more controversial but effective systems is the wired reflexes, which tend to make the user 'twitchy' but also give them a blinding reaction speed that allows them to react to a vampire with a degree of parity.
- Muscle replacement; human muscle is augmented with vat-grown, nano-enhanced muscle that increases strength and agility on the part of the user.
- Bone lacing; reinforcement for the skeletal structure, particularly around the rib-cage, allowing the implanted agent to take more abuse, as well as strengthening the frame for other implants related to strength and speed.
- Replacement right arm with implanted shotgun, essentially similar to a sawed-off weapon; the barrel is very short and the magazine only allows for three rounds. The weapon has exquisite recoil compensation, being mounted very firmly on a cybernetic arm, and is linked to Daniel's arm. It is retractable and concealable -- anything larger would essentially not be easily concealed in a cybernetic implant. Other, more extreme implants exist that allow for the mounting/dismounting of large weapons on the arm, though Daniel did not elect to take a hardpoint.
- The other replacement arm, his left, has a variety of sockets and jacks, from USB to ethernet and beyond, to facilitate physical access of an enemy's electronic equipment, including a multitool set. Also, incidentally, the middle finger comes off to reveal a spool of self-rewinding mono-wire, highly useful in garroting/beheading actions. He suggested this modification to the team, and they loved it. “Giving the vampers the finger” has a whole new meaning with Aspida as a result. The third fingers on each hand have fully articulated fiberoptic cameras that can be deployed covertly to show the agent what is behind them or to get a camera/microphone into small places. Fingernails have retractable blades.
- Replacement legs, fully functional and stronger than the originals. One interesting feature is the rather sharp blades that are housed in the lower legs of each, and extend from the heel. He's practiced his round-house with that advantage in mind.
- Hands and knees and feet can be magnetized, but draw on an internal power supply that is replenished by kinetic means, which is to say, with movement.
- The limbs are socketed and can be, theoretically, replaced with other limbs that do different things. Daniel, however, likes the current mix of limbs.
- A medical monitoring system that flushes his system with drugs as needed to counteract pain or other medical situations as they arise -- that includes the injection of agents that are used in the event of the use of nerve gas.
- Subdermal impact and ballistic armor, though not the most extreme sort -- this stuff is again, concealable.

Equipment:
- Silenced pistol, caseless hydro-shok-style ammo, entirely made of polymer. It is about the size of the Russian 6P28, which is metal and designed for assassination, and mimics the design of it. It is designed to interface with his implanted systems.
- Mimetic Camouflage (Predator) coat, though this is designed to look more like a trenchcoat -- no doubt some project engineer with a penchant for the dramatic, or an interest in fashion design. The coat is actually stylish, which serves a dual purpose as vampires tend to dress stylishly and surround themselves with the stylishly dressed. This allows Aspida agents one more edge. Of course, they call it the Predator Coat. Because the engineers are geeks. (This is a standard issue Aspida item)
- Modular, caseless assault rifle/carbine. Bullpup, caseless ammunition, synched with existing implants and capable of mounting a variety of accessories including a 25mm grenade launcher whose munitions range from conventional high explosive to nano-guided scattered mines. It also syncs with HUD implants for improved accuracy in a mechanism similar to a bluetooth link. The trigger is electric and the weapon includes a biometric security system; anyone but someone authorized to handle it and it will blow; that is a standard feature on most any weapon the Aspida has in service with its teams. (This is a standard issue Aspida item)
- Custom sniper rifle, .338 semi-automatic rifle, detachable magazine fed, with a heavy barrel and pseudo-musculature recoil dampening systems akin to those used for cybernetics. It is enhanced with a variety of electronics to ensure high hit probability, including range-finding and elevation/windage adjustment with the same linkage as other Aspida weapons. The hardware/software package is good enough to achieve consistent hits on a moving vampire, so long as they are unaware of the sniper. It can be broken down into components and transported covertly.
- Ballistic combat knife, which is to say that the blade is magnetically propelled at extremely high speed when activated. Also contains a monofilament wire (capable of strangulation/decapitation) and is designed so that the handle is heavy enough to break bone when swung. It is a weapon made in the style of the NRS-2 ballistic knife of the Spetsnaz.
- A number of electronic accessories, including a PDA tablet and other items to assist in making physical connection with computer equipment. (This is a standard issue Aspida item)
- Grenades, mostly white phosphorus. The organization has designed a 'grenade' that involves a strobing UV light that damages vampires -- it is known as 'the disco ball'.
- Heavier weaponry can be acquired through Aspida
- Civilian clothing, though everything he wears involves full pant legs and long sleeves. He also wears nonprescription clear glasses indoors, or sunglasses at all times outdoors to help camouflage his eyes.

Name: Lucas hägg

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Ethnicity/Nationality: Swedish.

Physical Description:

Tall, fit and fair. Lucas has trained and kept himself in shape rather well. Of course, now his entire torso is moncrome and steel colored, His legs sleek metal that is somewhat reminiscent of a metal statue. His hair is white, naturally so, and his eyes are white, unaturally so. Instead of pupils, the mechanical eyes have crosses where the center point shifts around to indicate where he is looking. He stands 6'0 tall, dressing in light, nanowoven kevlar armor for the most part, so thin he can still wear his favorite jacket on top of it.

Skillset:

- Close combat expertise; Lucas is a trained combatant, one specialized in infiltration and neutralization. His skills are geared towards surviving in CqC enviroments. Use of blades and handguns, coupled with krav maga and valetudo has made him a skilled opponent to face. His enhanced body ontop of that makes him a nightmare in close combat.

-Eternal Hunting; Lucas LIVES for the hunt. His sisters skills of survelance and secrutity only helps to add to it. After his defeat at Eternals hands and with them joining Aspidas, he has learned everything there is to know about the Eternal. He know their calling cards, their patterns, their structure of society.

-Freerunning; Knowing he needs to get within medium to close range before he engages a opponent, he is very apt at moving by foot and how to treat everything as a simple obstacle course.. Due to his incredibly durable and powerfull new body he can do this even better.

-

History:

Member of the gothenburg based organization of 'Ögon Kartellen', a neo-utopian, free information, free net movement. He and his sister were both bright eyed, diligent idealists and to some extent, info-terrorists. The 'Eye Cartel' as the name translates to, dealt in the liberation of secrets and encryted netdata of companies and goverments both. Sweden, a country boosting a tradition of highspeed net, information trade and netbased piracy was their playground.

The pair was appreciated and lauded among peers as the new generation of datahunters. They would crack systems and steal from even the most guarded info-vaults. Daring raids to steal physical hard drives coupled with hacking secure lines and networks. He was the part that did the breakins. Fast on his feet, a parkour expert and martial arts entuisiast he would generally do the pickups of old harddrives and simply outrun its previus owners.

One day however, they set their eyes one the wrong target. Lucas insisted they'd do it. The group they were after were a front for a group of Eternal. And eternals held onto alot of information, information meant to be free for everyone. So the duo did their thing. Only it ended up not working out to well. The systems were far more sofisticated and the Eternals themselves had no problem keeping up. The pair only got so far as halfway in before the Eternals sprung their trap. They counterattacked Isa's electronical interference while Lucas was simply rund down. They tore him practically to bits. But as luck would have it, Aspidas had chosen the sudden shift in Eternals attention to attack them aswell. They saved Lucas, and at his behest, Isa. The two were soon after enlisted to help fight the Eternals as their cybernetics program was likely the only thing that could save their lives.

Psychological Profile:
Driven, street smart, tech savy and ruthless, the 'lesser' half of the sibling duo of Lucas and Isabella is a classic case of post stress obsession. His target of obsession being the Eternal. After his illfated attempt at infiltrating a nest, a incident that left Isabella and him both legally blind and caused with braindamage, he grew colder and more distant towards the outside world. To him, his sister and the Hunt is all that matters. He is a proffesional, consumate and complete in his dedication to her. He protects her from the world, and she is his guardian angel from afar. He is gone on record that if needed, he will sacrifice the entire organization to save Isabella should such a incident occur. He was however, still cleared for the cybernetics project due to his otherwise incredibly dedicated proffesionalism.

Modifications:
-Neurological Booster. Due to the extensive damage done to his synapses, the scienstists and medical officers working on his recovery have fitted him with experimental neurological boosters. It allows him to process, compartmentalize and act upon information 3 times faster then the average person.

- Internal air supply and aerial toxin filter.

- Blood/liquid toxin filter

- Eye augmentation; Aside from the more standard ones that most agents have, lucas augmented vision is paired with his sisters state of the art security feeds and his own neurological booster. This allows him incredibly hand to eye coordination, giving him unaturally fast 'reflexes'.

-Robotic augmentation. Due to severe damage done to his arms and upper body at the hands of the Eternals sadistic torture, the organization had to replace damaged muscle tissue with superflexible, powerfull nanotubing and experimental, plastic alloys. The new robot arms look mainly human, and due the technology being in prototype stages, the mesh between skin and metal is far from pleasant to lucas at most times. Still, it allows him to lead a fairly normal life, even if alot of his upperbody is more or less that of a machine.

Equipment

Monoblade Khukri: One way to kill a vampire is by decapatation. Of all the weapons in the world, one blade is infamous for its extreme effeciency in hacking both vegetation and human tissue. That blade is the Napalesian Khukri. Lucas own is a so called monoblade. Made out of a special alloy, with a incredibly sharp and thing edge that vibrates at high frequencies. It is able to cut trough bone like it was tissue. The curved, expertly made blade makes for a exellent weapon that Lucas wield with frightening skill and ease.

- Sunny Suprise (UV Grenades) ; Something of a prototype, the UV grenade works by super charging powerfull UV lamps into 5 seconds bursts of light. The grenades when secure, look like black cylinders. With a turn and a pull however, you release a spring a that triggers the internal battery. The cylinder opens up and fans out a set of lamps withing a split second, then take another 3 second to trigger. Each grenade is expensive, so Lucas is only allowed 3 a mission usually.

-The Vindicator; Lucas was never a expert marksman, but he has a thing for chock and awe ever since his near death experience. The vindicator is a shotgun, short and simple. The long explenation is that its a flatchet based handgun of the 50. variant that is made to shred and tear. The spread is rather large, and the weapons kickback make it unreliable for continues fire. On the other hand, one round of it down a hallway tend to clear the way.

- The IMP; A heavy piece for a side arm, the IMP is a semi automatic 9 rounds, .45 caliber handgun with some serius firepower. The rounds can range from normal slugs, to exploding rounds and dragonrounds that burst into flame upon impact. The weapons heavy kickback is somewhat negated by the metal arms ability to lock its wrist. Used alongside his Khukri, it's his go to weapon.
